Hi just wanted to ask a quick question . What are the offsets in these ? And did they rub heavy load ? . I'm looking to size down to 16s as my 17s were mad wide and rubbing a lot . I have my rear arches rolled about half an inch both sides also . What would you recommend for a flush kind of fitment without rubbing issues and I'm not looking to stretch my tyres. Preferably would wanna go 16x8 all around.
Hey! These esm wheels are 16x8 +20 I've had zero rubbing issues which has been super nice, I heard that 17s are just a bit too big, I didn't have to roll my fenders either and the fitment is pretty flush on them, I did the slightest stretch on my tires just to make sure I had no issues it's just a small size down! Hopefully this helps answer your question🙂
@@munimuni5168 yeah I went with the biggest you can go without doing body modification or having any rubbing issues! I'm very happy with it! But yeah I haven't done a crazy amount of heavy load but it should be much better than the 17s!
Thanks for sharing! Looking at similar wheels, but the Japan Racing JR9s. Was thinking of doing 16X7.5 ET25 in the front and 16X9 ET20 in the rear. Think I could still fit those 215/45 R16s? How's the ride on those tires? Was contemplating 215/55s too, but wasn't sure if they'd look too tall.
No problem! The ride is actually super nice one the tires, I don't mind the smaller sidewall it's not as low profile as you would expect, but if you are doing 16x9 in the rear they will be a bit stretched but should still be good! I would recommend sticking with the 16 inch rims, they are perfect size
Looks amazing… I have stage 3 Eibach springs from Ireland Engineering front and rear but, I’m so stressed because I don’t want any problems as in rubbing or having to roll fenders. Looking at 16x8 +20 offset with 205/45/16 do you think I’ll be ok with no issues?
Thank you! I just looked up that exact setup on fitment industries, and a guy that has the eibach springs and 16x8 +20 and the 205/45/16 doesn't have any rubbing and didn't have to do any modifications, I have the similar setup and don't have issues, I believe the big issues come when you put 17s on! Hopefully this helps! You shouldn't rub or have to roll fenders!👌🏻🙂
Depending on the site and who you are ordering it from, it should say it in the description if it is priced per wheel or not! I believe that they will normally be sold per wheel🙂
Might be an old video but can you give me some updates and specs? Like I saw some black ones for sale..think they are 16x8 and 16.9 for the rear. Are yours the same spec?
@@ProjectRacecar2 thanks for the reply…I just like the wider wheels in the back but yeah square setup has the tire rotation benefit…hmm…I’ll have to think about it
Wheels look sharp. I have some 17s on order for my E30 vert. Im having the worst experience with Fitment Industries. Definitely a 1st and last time dealing with them.
@@ProjectRacecar2 i ordered the same wheels in silver 17x8.5. Dude they sent my wheels individually via fedex. I received 3 all on separate days and the 4th one was lost. I have been waiting an additional 2 weeks in counting to receive my last wheel. I have had multiple cars with aftermarket wheels on all of them, never have dealt with a piss poor company like FI. But clean ride man. Keep putting out content.
Gotcha I love they wheels, but the 17s should look solid!! But I work at FedEx😂 and that's not a FI issue that's a FedEx issue! I'm sorry to hear that man, shipping always sucks!! But thank you so much I really appreciate your support! I'll for sure keep posting content!
@@ProjectRacecar2 I will say this, why I agree with you that fedex is at fault for the lost package, i think it was poor decision on FI’s end to ship my wheels individually to me. IMO the chances of fedex losing a wheel is high done that way. The videos and research I have done before ordering showed me that they would ship my wheels out bundled together. Not separately with 4 different tracking numbers. And their support after the loss was disheartening. But I have learned my lesson and will not make the same mistake twice. Thanks for your response 🤝
Yeah of course man! I got mine shipped through ups, and it came in two separate boxes, so I had no issues, but I'm sorry you are having issues with that! That's always a pain, I hope it gets settled out!! Thanks for reaching out and stopping by
Stock struts but on lowering springs, Im not sure what brand they were because they were installed by the previous owner, the car is on bc coilovers now
Love the rims!
Hell yeah!! Greta looks amazing!
Just found your channel looking for a nice wheel setup for my e30 convertible and i love how these fit. 👍👍
Yeah they are actually perfect!! I love how they look and I have had zero issues with fitment!!
Greta looks good for sure!! 🔥🔥 Btw those are my favourite wheels! They look good on E30 and E36
Yeah they are a perfect style on the 80-90s euro cars!! And thanks man!! I love how they came out on the car!!🤟🏻🔥🔥
Bro nice beard! Also remember Diamond Battle Playz? That me :)
Thanks man! I ended up shaving the beard this weekend😂 but that's awesome man, thank you for stopping by!! I do remember that user name!!
Letttsss gooooo👌🏻 looks soooo good😝
Thanks man!!
What lowering springs were you running here? Looks great.
That's a very good question, I'm honestly not sure, they were installed by the previous owner, I have since switched over to bc coilovers!
yoooooo thats looks cool and im exited for that beautiful engine you will get good luck bro
Thanks man!! I know I'm super glad I can start the build off with some rims
@@ProjectRacecar2 lezzz GOOOOO

@@ProjectRacecar2 thanks for answering bro. I'm probably gonna do the same set up as you . I'm sure it should be ok even on heavy loads.

What type/brand of ceramic coating do you recommend for these Esm rims?
If I'm not mistaken I used Adams polishes and it held up very well!!
stupid question, but you have to have the quantity as '4' for when you're buying the wheels right

That should work, I ended up doing a square setup, they are 16x8 with a +20mm offset🙂

Damn that's a shame man! I had a good experience with them, what rims did you order? But I thought about doing 17s they look sweet on the e30s!

Does the e30 have its stock suspension in this video?

sheeshh
Right!!! It's crazy how much a set of rims helps the car out!!
