That’s Sorghum & the flowers on top if where people get Sorghum grains from. Sugarcane is grown through stalks. Many online listings confuse people telling them it’s Sugar Cane.
Thank you so much this was very helpful as growing up with sugar cane I can’t wait to start growing my own! Do you know ow if the more you regrow the thicker it will get??
That is not sugar cane. It doesn't come from seeds. Get a stick of cane from someone's yard or the market. Cut in between the rings leaving the node intact. Plant the portion with the node face up. That's how you get sugar cane.
Bros why are you eating it now it's not fully ripe to be eaten atleast it's the cane is supposed to be fat for the sweetness to comeout or a little bit thicker than thin what are you teaching us your subscribers

I really appreciate this video because I havent found anyone else who has done a step by step. TY 😊
Thanks so much for the tips you've mentioned in your video, especially about removing the flowers!
My sugar cane is literally 10x thicker. And you can propagate from cuttings forever, it never loses sweetness.
I just planted a set of 5 cuttings 8 total nodes and hoping they multiply enough to have a mini farm
Either of you willing to send me a stalk to grow from? I bought from Amazon… I’m assuming I got the same things as this guy.
