This reminded me of when Monique was having a conversation with Steve Harvey and he basically told her shut up and keep feeding her family which she declined suffered and eventually they have to now pay up.

Lets first use the quote in its entirety...he did NOT say "slavery was a choice!" He said and I quote " When you say slavery for 400 years! That SOUNDS like a choice! 400 years and all yall there..." So what I got from that after listening to the full interview and not just that clip from the media is he was trying to convey is this. At some point during that 400 years up until present date, we came to recognize that after the whips and chains, we were being enslaved and slaves mentally. At the point that we recognized that as a people, we should have made a choice to help ourselves knowing that no one else would. Even to this day we still won't help ourselves economically and we remain slaves to the system even thou we know it's theirs and not for us. At some point in a abusive relationship, you realize it's abuse. Then what you do after that becomes a choice. Especially if that relationship continues to be abusive. I don't feel like he was trying to intentionally be insensitive to actually whips and chain history of our enslavement. For years he has talked about how we need to help ourselves dating back to George Bush and hurricane Katrina. We allow the media to push us to take things outta context not realizing he is one of ours. In the interview he even apologized and says his words don't always come out right. I felt he wanted us to hold ourselves accountable for what we allow to be done to us and I hold heartedly agree! Did he convey the message in the right manner with that statement! Hell no, but I understood his message as the interview went on. And he said, he knows the media will demonize him, but he gonna say what he feels.

Tu lax! the only thing I would add to what you said about our current situation as black people is that we are the only people that were systematically brain washed for centuries. People like our profits are really the geniuses that would have guided us naturally but because of slavery the masses are fully dunce for a lack of a better expression. Really would like if you did some live convos on your platform as I believe your subscribers may be some of Jamaicas most intelligent

Same suh brov....society uses money to distract and destroy the strong men of black nations bcaz they know that if we get too smart and combine our intelligence and resources we will be too powerful and that's an easy avenue for another revolution that they cannot manage....as tulox made reference to.....brov too much to say and write....Tulox and him brov need an open platform so that them can invite intelligent minds like themselves and take calls from some youths who still a hold certain focus with something to say and continue their quest in empowering some a them youths yah.....no joke....

OMG, I work in an organization where we complain everyday that we are worked like slaves. We all quarrel amongst ourselves, but never the higher heads. I tell them all the time, “I can’t help you, and you can’t help me,” so why not come together and speak out and up to the appropriate persons?

We wouldn’t support it, the organization that tried to unite black people in America was Black Lives Matter but people like Kanye west was against it and don’t tell me bout no founder and no fraud because that’s the same charge the white man use against Marcus Garvey. Kanye west even disrespected Harriet Tubman but as too lox a say there is no organization in the black community to ban him. When it come to sebi fruad. The only reason he won the Supreme Court is because they charged him for practicing Medicine without a license however because he is a herbal doctor and he wasn’t diagnosing people he couldn’t be found guilty for practicing medicine.
