- Austin Dillon finds himself in the playoffs (for now, at least) after a wild last lap finish at Richmond Raceway. Dillon sent Joey Logano for a spin and then crashed into Denny Hamlin off Turn 4 as they raced to the checkered flag.
Reaction to Dillon's move has been mixed as the NASCAR world waits to see if he will be punished for the move. In this clip from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Pit Reporters, Dustin Albino and Lewis Franck join Brett McMillan to give their take on Austin Dillon's decision, NASCAR grappling with "win and you're in" and what a penalty (or lack thereof) means for the future.
Dillon had the best car in the final laps, but Lewis points out the irony of his victory. Meanwhile, Joey Logano could also be in hot water for his post-race burnout on pit road.
As we await NASCAR's decision, Dustin admits he has no idea what will happen because the situation is totally unprecedented. NASCAR doesn't like to strip wins, but with such strong reaction, will they have a choice? #NASCAR

No way, they should NOT take the win away. they should bring back probation. perfect way to say "you're in trouble but you're not in trouble so don't do it again." they should absolutely penalize logano for his dangerous pit road move post race

They need to take the win away from Dillon to stop all this on purpose wrecking.
If they take away the win then how many wins does Joey Logono get taken away from his career for doing the same thing 🤔
I don't think they will take away his win, but I can see a one race suspension for the right rear hook Hamlin is complaining about. This would effectively end Dillon's playoff hopes.
Snowflake racing is what everyone wants next NASCAR will be giving everyone a trophy if they complete 1 lap.
You all need to go back and watch nascar early days there were always wrecks. Need to get over it NASCAR is not F1 and true fans don't want it to be.
