    I’m happy na madaming interested sa IE!
    It’s definitely worth it. You’ll find yourself creating great impact on whichever company you’re in. ❤
    It’s also a way of life, you’ll realize that there is always a better way to do things and it’s applicable sa kahit na anong task. It’s not just a degree for me, it also helps with Personal Growth. 😊

    Payo ko lang sa mga IE grads. Sundan niyo track niyo. Kung IE ka graduate dun ka sa manufacturing and production as in yung pang IE talaga. Wag kayo pupunta sa construction yung as in sa operation ng construction dahil ang baba ng bigay nila sa IE. Kung sa madaling sabi yung construction at pang civil syempre sa structural and mechanical and electrical for mepf. Pero sa mga production at manufacturing IE ang hari dun.

      Hi, this is Mariel Año. Here are my suggestions 😊
      Since IE’s might be going on different paths as they graduate, here are some general topics that can be used on any industry or job function:
      > Project Management
      > Workshops fro Advanced Excel
      > Data Analytics, Big Data, Workshops on SQL/Oracle
      > Data Visualization Workshop on Power BI
      Some specialized topics you might want to explore:
      > Supply Chain Management
      > Ergonomics

    hello! I know this is weird but u need to be good at drawing po ba? I'm stuck between chemical and industrial engineering tho I'm not good at drawing

    • @rosemarielano9727
      @rosemarielano9727 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Nope hindi naman need na magaling sa drawing, kahit ako hindi magaling mag-drawing haha. Pero meron tayong tinatawag na Engineering Drawing, lahat ng engineering courses dadaan don and for me it’s to test how you can view different perspective ng isang design.
      Don’t worry, it won’t hinder you whether you take Chemical or Industrial Engineering 😊

    Hi ate! I'm planning to shift sa IE. I just want to ask po kung ang industrial engineering po ba ay may subject na nagcocompute po ng costs ng mga direct materials/direct labor, overhead and etc. po? I am currently taking accountancy po and we have cost accounting and strategic cost management po, and i really hate those courses so much.
    Gusto ko lang po malaman kung amo po yung mga subjects and kung paano sa trabaho para alam ko po kung ano ang i-e-expect ko and kung magugustuhan ko po ba ang IE. Thank you so much!

      depende po sa type ng industry na papasukan mo. Advantage na may background ka sa CAD at automation kung gusto mo magwork sa mga manufacturing companies. Part din naman ng IE curriculum ung mga nabanggit mong topics kaya no worries.

    how much is the starting salary of an IE?

    • @EngineerPhyl
      @EngineerPhyl  ปีที่แล้ว

      In the Philippines, the starting salary varies depending on what type of industry you want to pursue your career (also, location is another factor). I can give you a range of salary of IEs working in manufacturing industry. It's 20k - 25k pesos monthly (province). This is according to some Industrial Engineers I know personally.

    Do industrial engineers by profession use ENGR before their name?

    • @EngineerPhyl
      @EngineerPhyl  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes. Certified Industrial Engineers (CIE) and even IE graduates who are working in Manufacturing, Academic Institutions, and other engineering-related industries (provided they have engineering positions/job titles) can use the title ENGR. in their names.

    ilang units Po SA first year ng IE?

    • @EngineerPhyl
      @EngineerPhyl  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The number of credit units for a first-year Industrial Engineering program in the Philippines may vary depending on the specific university or college. However, most universities and colleges in the Philippines follow the academic policies and guidelines set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
      According to CHED's policies, a full-time student in a degree program must complete at least 15-18 units per semester. Therefore, a typical first-year Industrial Engineering student in the Philippines may expect to take around 30-36 units of courses in their first year, divided into two semesters.
      The specific courses and number of units required may also depend on the university or college's curriculum and program requirements. It's best to check with the specific school you are interested in to get accurate and up-to-date information on the required number of credit units for the first-year Industrial Engineering program.
