We're working very hard to try to lengthen our videos up. It is very difficult with most weeks only being able to dig for 1 day as we work full time jobs.
Y'all killin' it! As someone who worked in underground piping, I've used a probe many, many times, and I've addressed this very issue of probing in safety briefings. Go quality over substandard lower grades. Your life may depend on it. ♥
I think it would have been cool to see a time lapse of the whole hole dig. You could slow down or interject when you find something. It would show what you do to just get to the bottle and how much you dig around. Thanks for sharing. I like seeing the cleaned up versions.
Great video with some nice bottles, appreciate the probe info at the end, i was thinking about buying a probe to try and find the bottle dumps at the cellar holes we metal detect. Keep up the great work.
I just wished you finished up the PSA about the probe with “Now you know and knowing is half the battle “. Lol. But in all seriousness, that was good to point that out for those who wouldn’t know about that.
I love your videos brandon. U do an awesome job i donot collect bottles but u are a wealth and expert on bottles. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully herr dave blackburn
@@adventurearchaeology wow it is great finding the “ honey holes”oh all the good stuff! I know in any hobby it is a building process! keep expanding your knowledge, and skills! love watching your videos ! I always learn something new!
I like that you showed us how you find a spot to dig Brandon. What good is knowledge if it cant br passed on to younger generations . A smart man knows that he doesn't know everything. Anyone who stops learning starts declining in brain function i think. Lol Thanks for alwsus sharing your knowledge with us and keeping our minds expanding my friend. Great video, Awesome adventure and as always thanks for taking us along.
I just love it when you all find some awesome bottles. Some of them have beautiful shapes n color. I would be close to Heaven if I could go digging for some awesome bottles like you find. That’s on my bucket list. If I ever make it to Alabama (my Mama was born n raised there) I hope I could look you up n if I’d be so lucky you’d take me bottle digging. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍
The doll Tristan found is called a pudding doll it’s a very old doll. Look it up to see how old it is! You may be shocked 😳 Another wonderful day digging ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Great finds today.....that mother's friend bottle is interesting. Caster oil or opium based relaxant???? I'll have to check on this, my curiosity.....any way great finds and very good video Mother's friend, opium, morphine and alcohol based relaxant to have " pretty babies" 1880's - 1901. Changed formulas because of the new FDA fined them
I have a bunch of very ild jars, jugs and medicine bottles. One is a blue jug that has General Washington with geirge Washington pic engraved on one side. The other side has American Eagle engraved on back. Any info on this ? Its just been up on a shelf of mine for years...
Please look up that baby nursing bottle. I believe it might be one of a number styles known as murder bottles. I recently found a slightly different style on my property just off the roadside in the scrub. Sad but fascinating piece of history there
If a guy wanted to, could he make a living digging 8 hours a day and selling bottles? I know this is edited over several days. and sharing the finds. I'm ready for some creek walks!
No, for bottle diggers, they probably rebury 99% of all the bottles they dig. Most of the stuff they dig is all broken, slick, or a dime a dozen. They often only show the good stuff. It is NOT a get rich quick scheme, so don't quit your day job. People do this for the love of the hobby and history. Edit: some of the bottles they show are cool, but common.
We're working hard to try to make them longer. Its been tough working as much as I do to film at all though so Im just glad to still have good videos in the backlog!
Another great video. Yes i to want more from you longer videos. Go through your collection s maybe. I dream about doing what you do because I a handicapped and over weight obese. I learn what you dig and spot them at thrift store yard sales and other places people don't recognize the old items.

Wow, I have a hoods sasparllia, (close enough, lol) that looks a great time! It's fun to have your wife get into it too, mine not so much.
Do you bring a bucket and water to your digs ?
No, we have too much to carry as it is haha!
Please look up that baby nursing bottle. I believe it might be one of a number styles known as murder bottles. I recently found a slightly different style on my property just off the roadside in the scrub. Sad but fascinating piece of history there
Why is all that there? I missed that part. Was it a warehouse or a general store or what was there in the past?
City dump!
@@adventurearchaeology wow!!!
Would like see a old 1800 Budweiser bottle pulled out
Us too!
Where are yall from ?
How can I buy items from you? I mean if you sell them.
We sell certain items we don’t collect or have duplicates of. Check our store out at adventurearchaeology.com
Does the trash just naturally bury itself in the ground over time?
No it was buried to cut down on smell.
how did that spot come about though who saw the depression in the ground

Honestly the only way to make a full time income doing this is to have social media videos pay your way!
Are you going to make that broken elephant crown top into a drinking glass?
It had cracks all the way to the heel once I cleaned it up 😭
@@adventurearchaeology that would have been an epic drinking glass if it were not that broken. Seems like the common ones always survive.
You don’t smear the sand and dirt on the token
It’s a dump dug aluminum token not silver……..
Seems like the videos are getting shorter...Think your editing too much out...lol

Are these bottles worth anything money wise, why would you want them if not to sell..
They are worth tons if you find the right ones. Thousands of people collect them just like baseball cards or stamps.
Can u cut those jugs and make an open pot, kinda like u make drinking glasses?
We've got a few to experiment with!
I'm hooked! I dabble. Living ir
