I just spent 4 hours playing this game to the end while my friend watched horrified as i was able to get past most cling gem parts with kicks and willpower. And you are here doing it in 12 minutes. well played
It took me 11 hours to beat the game because I got 3 of the keys without cling gem and didn't realize I was supposed to come back to all these parts with the cling gem
I just beat this and wanted to see what was possible in a speedrun. The movement in this game is so fluid this is very impressive especially with minimal upgrades. My hats off to you.
I believe that's called an "ultra", and it's related to neutral backflipping out of a specific kind of slide cancel. Wild stuff. I'd look up a movement tutorial for a better explanation, there are some good ones out there.
With the new update, I noticed that a part of the bridge in the tower is fixed, so you can't hang off it anymore to get up. I guess now the sun greaves are mandatory for any% ? I'd like to see how you'll do it, if you'll do it at all. Anyway, awesome run man !

The ammount you can skip entirely on accident without cling gem is honestly hilarious I had 3/5 keys before finding it somehow.

how do they do that big jump?? after they get the slide
if you quickly pull the analog stick in the opposite direction you can do a big flip jump. imo it's easier to do without the second slide upgrade.
