My wife is from Philippines, she has been here since 2006 = $20k in lawyer fees and counting to become a citizen. I think she should have stayed illegal (she over stayed her visa). RE "what should you do". In simple terms, needs and wants, you must do what you NEED to do, not necessarily what you want to do. Now that said, the way to never work again is to do something you love and you will never have to work again. I have been doing high end computer networking for years. I finally landed at a company that pays (with the over time) 6 figures plus. Hard job, but I do what I love. Too bad I fell down a set of metal stiars in the snow and destroyed my foot, so this injury might spell the end of any quality life (painfree vs pain all the time). Yeah, you are not alone. My need for God & truth tends to be come more focused when I am at the end of my ideas. I need the courage to work thru this but I dont really have it, yet, so I guess I need to "fake it till I make it" (courage).
