  • In this video I review the SteelSeries Arctis 7x wireless headset for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One X/S, Playstation, PC, Switch and More! This wireless headset from SteelSeries really is versatile and brings the quality I've come to expect from SteelSeries. Is this the best wireless headset for Xbox? Maybe even the best wireless gaming headset on the market.

    By far the best mic test on headsets I have heard. I always find it annoying that reviewers get to test the mic reading 1-2 sentences. I cannot get the full picture that way. Very happy you took an entire section using only the built in mic to really get a full experience.
    BTW for platform streaming I typically follow Twitch/TH-cam/Facebook, in that order.

    Picked up the 9x last week and have had a ton of drops on PC and XSX, in addition to a ton of clicking on calls on the PC. I went ahead and returned them and ordered a 7x set, hoping for better success going between both systems.

      Same thing happened with me. 9x kept disconnecting, had issues with connecting in general. Got the 7x, and it works flawless with the dongle. If you are getting it for the series x/s, get the 7x for sure.

    So glad this video exist! I purchased the 9x earlier today, but started looking into the 7x but no one had it in stock until a couple minutes ago and I just had to buy it lol. Gonna be returning the 9x once those get here! Thanks for the review, brother. Much blessings to you and your channel.

      @Beamen Smith lol same
      Edit: But I'm still debating on it, to be honest. My wife is having a great time with the 9x!
      All those cables that come with the 7x are such a turn-off, man.
      Mic quality is not as good as 9x, but that doesn't bother me.
      50 bucks less is nice, though.
      But, the fact that the 7x is out of stock everywhere is crazy. If it weren't that good, then why are they unavailable, you know?
      Gonna make my wife keep the 7x hahah

    • @JiibarO
      @JiibarO 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alkindi5647 I've heard a few things about the Xbox headset, some pros and cons. But it's a cheap headset so we can only expect so much!
      I really liked the Turtle Beach, but I couldn't handle the connection issues. Had to reconnect it few times a day.
      I would say that the 7X is the best choice for Xbox right now.
      It comes with a dongle so you connect it straight to it and not to the Xbox's BT
      Dongle has two options; PC and Xbox
      Sometimes it acts up, what I do is leave it plugged in and switch it to PC and then back to Xbox and it fixes itself!
      Hope that helps, brother

    Very late but random question, but does connecting take long for the 7x? I plan to use the headset both for PC and Xbox so does it take very long to reconnect if I were constantly switching the adapter between Xbox and PC? Either way Great Review!

      I haven’t personally used the 1, so my opinion on this will be based on what I’ve researched. In terms of sound performance they will be very close or the same. The microphone is a little different and from what I’ve read is better on the 7. The 7 is also more comfortable and has a game/chat balance dial where the 1 does not. If your budget allows I would get the 7. But I think the 1 is a very solid choice if you need or want to save a good chuck of change.
