5:20 I agree, the buttons are hard to press. For me, it's the biggest annoyance of this case. Shame that so few reviewers mention this. You are one of the rare who did.
After purchasing the phone about 2 days ago, along with this case, I also found the buttons very hard to press. After a quick Google of others experiencing this issue, one user mentioned to take the phone out of the case, and press the buttons a whole bunch of times to loosen them up, seems to have worked alright so far. I'm sure with a bit more pressing, they'll become a lot nicer and easier to press.
I love the material on this case. It's like a self-healing material. It gets oil on it, but rub it and it goes away. The dusty bit went away after I'd had it out of the box for awhile. I don't know why a company as big as Samsung can't make a folio case that's secures. I'm gonna be returning it. I purchased an Otterbox strada and I love it. The flap doesn't turn the screen off but I found an app that'll turn the screen off when the flap goes down using the proximity sensor so I'm good to go with it. I have a phone mount for my car. It's got a metallic piece that you need to add to the phone or the case. I found that if I just slid it in to the space for cards in the Strada, it works as a magnet metal without actually having to attach anything. That way I can fold the cover back and attach it to the metal mount. I imagine it would work the same way in this case.
I bought this case for my s23 ultra, too. Is it possible that I can see with the closed case the icon of the notification like on the AOD when the case is open?
The one drawback of this case (same with the S22 Ultra S-View case) is there is no way to allow certain apps to continue running when you close the cover. Say for example I want to just listen to a TH-cam video via earbuds while the phone is in my pocket with the flap closed - can't do it. I'm also not a big fan of the card holder with the S23 version as it will have a tendency to scratch the phone screen from constant rubbing. I know you can get a screen protector, but I haven't found a decent screen protector that works well with the fingerprint sensor. Other than that, it's a great case.
Found a protector made by Green Lion, called 3D UV glass, the technician used a UV light to stick it on,he has to be careful and patient to install it. It works pretty good with finger print. I am happy with the combination of Samsung case and this protector.
Possible to have the AOD ON ALL the time in the little window? or does it turn off after some seconds? I need to see the clock without open case or push button
the S22 Ultra Samsung S-View Wallet Case was great, but this one for the S23 Ultra is sh*t, feels cheap and the edges are cutting my fingers also the unresponsive volume buttons makes this case almost unusable
Not a big lover of those cases due to the credit card marking the screen of the phone over a period of time. I always buy the back cover credit card case only
Hey I have a quick question and I'm not sure if you can really help me but just I've been trying to find the answer so I had the same case and also a screen protector and my screen broke in my pocket I called Samsung about it and they want to charge me I feel like a screen like that shouldn't break in my pocket also awhile it's protected by a Samsung product
🎉very great video; I've just pre order My S24 ultra and also one of these, however; will still sell it since I like the kick stand. And not big on to flip my case this is too feminine... thanks; my question; I don't know if this has been answered yet; does this S-view has to be set up or its an automatic setup once installed? Kindly Advise. Thanks. I'll have to wait to try. Kindly.
Have S23 Ultra... Is there a way to get the screen to lock when close the case cover? I've looked & searched everywhere, even contacted Samsung support; but have not found way to lock screen when case / cover is closed... Appreciate if anyone is able to get their screen to lock when cover is close would share how to get that feature to work... Side Note.... Agree That Buttons on Side of Case Take More Effort & Force To Incresse or Decrease Volume... I have S22 Ultra With S22 Ultra LED View Cove I have S23 Ultra With S23 Ultra S View Case I Like Having S View Case Because It Allows Me To Determine Which Phone is Which Via Looking At Cases or Via Touching Case & Feeling For Cutout... Outstanding review and i think i will now be avoiding this particular purchase should i have gotten serious about possibly buying one of these cases.....btw, and I'm certain you've heard this but you seriously look like Jake Gyllenhaal and that's obviously a good thing....anyways, thanks again for a fantastic video & review!
I have one of these in black and it think it is good sure it would be excellent if it had a magnet but it is still decent i wanted a samsung case with my new s23 ultra which i got 1 week ago
Don't worth more than 10 eur. It's like cheap chinese cover. Feeling in a hand is awful. Samsung best cover was Smart LED cover for S20. Samsung, give us LED cover for S23 like was for S20, please!

That's a TH-cam "feature", you need YT Premium for that background play functionality.

The side buttons on the walletr are madding! Makes the phone very difficult to use. Sending mine back!

I didn’t think of that
Marking it over time? What do you mean?
@@andreheizer credit cards will scratch your glass
Yeah that's right, bank or credit cards do mark the screen over time.

@@Abdal_Khan10 it's not bad still holding up.
Major downside is that the always on screen is way too bright and lights up my bedroom.
