  • The Engwe Engine X is a UK spec 250w eBike yet still has plenty of power for on and off road cycling. I take it for a good test run on some local byways.

Good review of what looks like a nice bike, Alex.
E bikes, and E scooters fly around my home city of Bristol at crazy speeds. No helmets and often with passengers on board, many with hoods up, and faces covered. It seems to me there is no deterent to the illegal use of these machines.
I have a E bike which I've been riding for 6 years or so. It's limited to 15 mph, which is quite adequate.

Yes, it can be a problem in some places but great things if used sensibly 👍

Dear God stop being such an over sensitive snowflake. Not everyone bows down to tyranny and these dictatorship laws that control our lives and are just excuses to tax and enslave us even further. Incase you didn't realise there is literally a law for everything in this country and we had no say in those laws! People are causing no harm or damage yet you are having a melt down? Why don't you just stay in your home for the rest of your life? It's because of people like you freely giving away your rights why the country is in such a mess!
