Guess I'm gonna be the oddball out and say that my heart broke when the wood boxes were painted. All that beautiful natural character GONE 😭💔 The metal ones look fabulous and needed refreshing. I do love your attention to detail, Yvonne!

Beautiful ideas… your work is always pristine but it seriously hurt me to see the wood boxes painted…. I once found one of those at goodwill and snagged it up immediately…. Than my friend begged me for it 😂

terrific metal 'suitcases'. I had problems with the locks on the 'leaf' cases. Broke SO easily. The braiding is charming.

I love the florals! Great English/French/ cottage decor! I always love it when florals are on things. The boxes would have looked good with just IOD rub ons too…maybe less work. Just a thought. The wicker boxes …love the key and number detail…think I would have like the handles left wood wicker…to each their own. You are always an inspiration and have a better idea of what other people like than I do! I do not have the vision like you! ❤️❤️

I really love vintage boxes, with being able to squirrel away treasures. I appreciated your patience with the decoupage. Sometimes youtubers make it look so easy - and then when I encounter challenges I'm surprised. :)
I did love the metal boxes and the way you antiqued the paper part. I found the white paint to be a bit jarring next to it, and found myself wondering why you chose not to age it a bit too, so it blended a bit more into the vintage paper. That aside, great work - I really love watching your creativity and attention to detail and giving new life to old 'stuff.'

Both sets look SO much better! I too have an old key stash. Bought a whole bunch on a leather string on the 127 sales a couple years ago for $3, plus I had a few already. I need to use more on projects. 😂

I have 3 wooden wood colored boxes that were my Mom's, so this has inspired me of what to do with them! Another Big Shout out to you for a job well done! Thanks! I'm thinking Spring and maybe off white background with IOD Flower transfers?...maybe just plain first and see if they sell.

Where did you find the card in your cabinet that has the word IRONSTONE on it ? How perfect is that ♥️ You have also found the perfect place to stand for your intro and exit, between your gorgeous cabinet and ironstone…to your stunning table with your centerpiece ♥️♥️♥️

The "wood" boxes were not very pretty, but the paint really improves the look n refreshes the product. Very nice.
Quick question about using the clear coat over the wax on the metal boxes...you can do that?? I always thought a clear coat would make the wax sticky. Is there a particular amount of time to wait in between waxing and clear coating? So excited about this because I have a few things that I want to clear coat but I waxed them and didn't want to "ruin" them.
I have clear coated over wax a lot luckily with no problems..

I didn't know you could put a clear coat over a wax! You learn something new ever dang day... Thank you for always teaching me new things and techniques 😊 again, you did an amazing job! I'd love to see you redo one of those cases with the red, white, and blue rooster paper by royce or the more cream background rooster paper that looks more like a sign!
