Factory leads are likely to match the probemasters if you wipe the tips off with alcohol before testing. They seem to have a layer of oil or something on them when new.
I miss the red bezel on the ZOYI. At least they fixed the issue where the temperature was blocked by the black trim. 🤠 The resistance is on 37 mΩ for each wire which is good. Nice talking feature, makes the unit even more outstanding 🌞 Wish for six things: (1) When running on input power, option to not go into standby, no need to save batteries. (2) When the power is pulled, have an option to shut off with power removal instead of turning back on with the batteries. (3) Put the on/off switch on the front. (4) Put LED indicators above the buttons to confirm & remind what mode is selected (5) AM/PM 12-hour option on the time. (6) Leads with real flexible silicone and higher strand count inside, so the metal doesn't hold a kink.
Only negatives I see are fuse access and price - I still have my first version and still very much love it, paid notably less too - last thing I need to pay $$$$ for on a meter is voice assist and bluetooth - but thats just me. Bluetooth has become a trendy "must have" marketing gimmick on everything from fountain pens to marital aids--lol Seriously its a great meter regardless, my only complaint is fuse access, should be a panel on the back etc. but im not complaining too much, love that large EBTN display, glitch free function and build quality - mine came with silicon leads, worth more to me that blue tooth or voice assist - again just me.
Great points 👉 Mike...The voice assistant is actually kinda cool but a niche offering for sure. I will say, the Bluetooth is extremely stable and that's a good thing 😀
i've been wondering if you'll review this multimeter someday and wow, there it is! man, it's a nice looking meter, has good performance, and the bluetooth function will make the bench activities more fun for sure. hey, thanks for the shoutout to my country, Darren. 😉
Heyyy Radius! Most welcome! Glad this Zotek was on your bucket list...it's a super sweet meter with alot of versatility they just need to rework the fuse access. Btw, Indonesia looks awesome..hope I can visit your country some day!
Even-Steven back in the house! This seems to be quite a nice meter indeed but as someone else already mentioned the input protection could’ve (should’ve) been a little better.
Thanks for this great review. Quite a decent DMM, but some solder joints are not perfect: 13:40 20A fuse holder not soldered properly to the PCB and 14:02 PTC one leg neither. I have Kaiweets / Habotest HT118E and I really satisfied with it.
Definitely a nice affordable benchmeter with some great acoustics! 👍 Check out this excellent 3rd party Bluetooth DMM Software it names this meter even more functional.. github.com/webspiderteam/Bluetooth-DMM-For-Windows
3.5 is still very good 👍 Price will definitely be a factor for many though. Also, the fuse access needs to be addressed, it's positively painful taking the back off.
12:55 Those aren't programming headers; those are headers to connect the 2 split/cut boards via a ribbon cable and is probably used in a different enclosure.
The font size is so big, I don't see the need for a voice assist to read out the measurements, good it is there though. The Bluetooth speaker is a very good addition 😊, but I don't like the speakers that shout "connected/disconnected", "Bluetooth ON/OFF" or playing some weird noise when turned on/off; hope this doesn't. Needs a version 3 or TE as they say to fix the slow resistance measurements, fuse access, etc. 😀
Hi Darren. Thanks for your review. We are developing a windows software for these zotek and it's clones. İt's like app as you showed on phone. But we couldn't test it for this device and we also need sample data for this device. If you still have the device can you help us to improve our app. Btw our windows app also free. We're trying to help everyone that have this type of device and who wants to use it under windows to show measurements to their viewers. Also has graph and logging functions too. For this reason if you can help us you will make us and other people happy.

@@KeepOnTesting Thank you for your availability but I live in Italy and the shipping costs alone exceed the cost of a new purchase. Anyway maybe I found the problem, but I have to do other tests.

Does it read other measurements when the front panel button is pressed?
Yes.

When a review on the new multimeter from Uni-T? The Uni-T UT892.
I'm waiting on delivery of some new UNI-T Multimeters for review 👍
Any relation to UNI-T?
None whatsoever. Two completely separate companies.
the price is $94.99 US on Amazon.
Thx for the price correction! 94.99 US is definitely better!
This very similar to beside model … 😊
Top quality video and meter review. Probably ideal for electronics work, but input protection is a bit light for my liking.
Thx 👍
