A most exciting Bluetooth talking multimeter. 🥳 Tony, I have had one of these Zotek's for about 8 months and it only cost about $76. Fun stuff and accurate. 😎 Thank you.
I bought a Zoyi ZT-303 that failed terribly at measuring current. The current drifted 300 mA per minute on the 10 Amp input. Made a video showing a Fluke in series with a steady 8 amps of current. Was fully refunded and later decided this Zoyi ZT-5566SE would replace it.
This looks (and sounds) great, I love the display. Will you do a teardown? I see there is a ZT-5566 and a ZT-5566SE and I cannot see what the difference is between them - confusing! EDIT: the SE has the button on the probe for voice anouncement
Hello sir, wish you all blesses and I searched for this product zotek zoyi zt5566se in ali express but im not sure about it to be honest, i also checked the link you post at discribtion box and at the website video they show another multimeter? what do you advise me sir? thank you in advance with all appritiations😊
Thank you, Bless you too sir! The first item in the description is this meter. ZT-5566SE, the meter is very nice and the speaker has a good sound. Sometime they sell the non-SE that has more red around the meter. so look for this black one.
is it switching off ... after several minutes or so ... or beeping ... like other smaller multi-meters? I want to be permanently on on my desk , not to switch it on and off all day
Interesting. I saw this on AE earlier and immediately dismissed it as a gimmick, figured they added silly features to make up for a bad DMM. Looks like it is an OK DMM but I still don't think I'd use the extra features. Thanks for the review.
Hi Tony, I wonder if when measuring the current in the socket, the meter says "Ow it hurts" and turns off 🤣 I'll probably need something like this in the near future - a big display 🤔 or I'll have to go to the eye doctor for glasses, my eyesight gets weaker with age 🤪 The button on the tip is good, you don't have to look at the display and just measure, that would be useful for me now, I'm repairing the electrical installation on a friend's Mercedes Vito, with a talking meter I could keep my head under the dashboard and not bother the security guard by reading the values on the display. They make talking and hand-held multimeters that talk even without a button in the probe, but I'm not dealing with it yet - there's no money 😥 Nice day 🙂 Tom
Hey Tony, great review. I've got the previous version with the red edging, which is also badged Aneng but made by Zotek, and have to say it's impressive for the money, less than 50euro from Banggood a couple of years ago. The large display is superb, especially as you get older, and your eyesight gets worse. Happy to recommend the product. The Bluetooth stuff is a bit meh, but hey! On a slightly different note, you might find the Taiwanese DER EE brand of meters interesting, I have a DE-5004 had to buy it from China as not sold in Europe at the time, a quality product for a reasonable price - circa 120euro inc shipping. Picked their name up from Dave Jones at EEVblog, when he mentioned they make some of the entry level meters for one of the expensive Japanese meter manufacturers, whose name escapes me at present...

Good to hear is was refunded, that should be, if it does not work well.

Yes the SE can 'talk' and comes with battery.
Paul had one under the Aneng brand. Some issues with the auto power off but a nice accurate meter.
Thanks, good to know, i have not noticed yet

Auto standby can we canceld with the REL button according to the manual. it is unclear if they mean wakeup or total cencel.

Hey Tony! Zoyi maakt wel behoorlijk accurate meters! Is vergelijkbaar met uni-t of niet?
This prima wat ze maken, weet zo even geen UNI-T vergelijk van deze meter, maar zou zo kunnen ja

Thanks!, yes agree, nice big numbers. Will have a look at that brand, thank you!
The expensive Japanese brand is Hioki...
@@jabbalechat7910 Ah yes Hioki , yes expensive stuff.. lots off facebook ads too, but never respond..
good for vision impaired/blind people
Yes indeed!
Looks a exact copy of the ANENG 888 S 😃
Yes its sold also as Aneng AN999S , i think both are made by Zotek

Thank you!
