I got the Aneng AN-888S 2 years ago, almost identical, accept for the voice thing. Use it every day on the bench, no problems. Did a small mod and fitted a power on/off switch to the front. Good review as usual. 👍

I have a similar one from Aneng. I like the BT for streaming music as I work on projects. This has a low price for how accurate it is.

Is it possible to configure other functions for the probe button? I could use that for hold so that I can freeze the reading while still holding the leads.

I've seen this thing several times in the past and have referred to it as a "memeter".
I'm not going to lie, though. That thing does have some really neat features.

Nice benchmeter if not to expensive though. Software for a PC would be useful, for a phone... not so much.

I would not install an app like that from a Chinese manufacturer
that dont want to put their apps in the official app stores.
Both Apple and Google check the apps for malicious behaviour etc,
so one can only wonder why they will not have their apps inn there.....

I can't get used to this 7 segment displays. The "new" design is so ugly. Chinese manufacturers pushing it so hard. Another step backward in the technology. :(
