Pisses me off that people can get others addresses so easily. That type of information should never be given to anyone without the person's permission.
My mom stalks me, she's always coming in my room at night before she goes to sleep. She's always watching me at every sporting event I have. She even shows up at my school every day insisting to get in the car with her. Truly freaky
there was a neighbor of mine who used to sit out on his porch and staring into my window until I went to bed...when I would turn the lights out and draw the blinds, he would go inside to his house seconds later... he approached me multiple times at my apartment.I had a pitbull so she was intimidating enough for him to stay away for the most part.. but I went to a local community college and he would lurk about campus. he didn't attend the college, I found this out because there was a posting on a bulletin board that said he was a child molester and there was a warning to report him if he was on campus... just a real creep.

My true creepy stalker story. A man was caught breaking into our home in CA where I was living with my mom. He was dressed all in black and the police found in his duffle bag a roll of duct tape, rope and a large hunting knife. He had snuck into our house during the day when no one was home and unlocked one of the windows (my mom insisted on leaving the doors unlocked during the day). During his trial he admitted he'd spotted me at a store or something and had been stalking me for 6 months but would not say what the knife, duct tape and rope was going to be used for. He went to prison for attempted kidnapping and hopefully he's still there. I try not to live in fear but I always carry a gun now. I also don't give out my personal info freely.

Let's see... I'm not attractive, I avoid talking to strangers in any and all situations, I'm a complete a-hole to people I am not friends with, and I never leave my house. Yep. I don't think I'm gonna get stalked any time soon.
So this story happened to me in 10th grade. One of my best friends was introduced to a guy I'll call Marcus. He seemed okay, quiet, but he didn't seem like the guy who would do anything. He occasionally hung out around us. However, that was until January after winter break. One day my friend, who I'll call Sam, was walking with me and another best friend of mine, who I'll refer to as Melanie. We were walking around the hall after school, waiting for another friend of ours, Sam's face goes pale, and she begins looking behind her constantly. Suddenly, she grabs both of our hands, and begins to run down the hall with us frantically asking what was wrong. Footsteps could be heard behind us and who do you think it is? Marcus. Even after these years the look on his face still gives me the chills. We ask Sam what was going on and she told us he was not only making continuous unwanted crude advanvements, but had, on occasions try to follow her home. When we asked why she didn't tell us sooner, she told us she thought we wouldn't believe her, as she had told her parents and they didn't believe her. We immediately took action reporting him, but ALL of them were dropped. ALL of them. It disgusts me even to this day. The attempts seemed to make his actions even WORSE. He began following Melanie and I, not to mention going after our other friends too. There was an incident where he tried to follow me on the train, leading me to book it in hoping he wouldnt find my address. After an incident where he began harassing one of us who was romantically involved and remarking information that we never told him, we tried one last time with our head counselour, Katherine. Her words make my blood boil. This woman looked us in the eye and said. "Why are you being so shallow, he only wants to be your friend." If I didn't care about my future, I would've slapped her, maybe even punched her right there. And what did Marcus do? What they always do, pull the pity card. "Oh why are girls so shallow?" "You should be GRATEFUL." "You should give him a chance." And all the rest of their bull shit excuses. Hell even one of our so call 'friends' actually sympathized with this bastard. We tried to file a police report, however because we weren't beaten with a pipe or anything they wouldn't or couldn't do a thing. When I reported that he tried to grind on me in a public transportation, the police officers first question, "What were you wearing?" So you can imagine how far THAT report went. Marcus continued with many other acts some of which I won't go into here for personal reasons. But eventually he left and went upstate thank god. No one, whether you are a man or a woman should have to deal with a stalker ever. I am glad it didn't get worse than what could have, but I hope anyone else out there who is dealing with one finds a way out.
This is a little confusing cause you started the story, let me tell you a story about my best who met this guy. But you go in as you were the one being stalked. Did he really stalk you , but you didn’t want to talk as it was you, but as you got more angry remembering what a pos he was, you forgot to hide it was you?
I had a tech stalker once. I was 13 and somehow a 44 year old man named Marcus from a distant state had gotten a hold of my number. At first he simply asked who I was and I didn't tell him, just said "you first", and he told me about himself and said he was "looking for someone to please." I never responded after that. He called and texted me continuously for 6 weeks until my parents changed my number. After about 4 weeks he started blocking his number so it only said it was from a private caller. The first time he called this way I didn't think it would be him and answered. I'll never forget the way he said "hello." After just that one word I was chilled to the bone, hung up, turned off my phone, and didn't turn it on for 3 days, only to come back to 74 text messages and 5 calls/voicemails from, you guessed it, Marcus. The voicemails just had a mix of static and random household background noise, like a tv and faint voices. I had my older sister listen to them before I did. I was terrified of this man.
I doubt my own story would help anyone as I went about it the "wrong way", according to authorities. I have had a very bad temper ever since I was very small. I was not the kid to tolerate being bullied. So when it happened that I had acquired a stalker, I was the wrong target for him to have picked. He used to hide across the street from my apartment and wait for me to come out. He'd then follow me everywhere I went. Each time, my anger grew more intense. Finally one day I'd had enough and I was very close to a blind rage. I picked up my baseball bat, walked across the street to the tree he'd been hiding behind, and slammed my bat into the tree where his head had been. I told him in no uncertain terms that if I ever saw him hanging around my home or workplace again, there'd be no tree to protect him. I'm guessing he attached himself to someone else after that because I never saw him again. I still feel bad about hurting the tree, though.

Thank you for this video, i myself was stalked by my daughter's father who had previously beat me relentlessly and was charged and sent to jail. When he was released he came to the area in which i lived and had his sister call me, and he was calling my mother pretending to be a friend trying to get my phone number, and also called my mother's neighbour asking her for my number, which was a violation of his probation. I was very frightened and called the RCMP and at first was told that since he did not do anything physical to me there was nothing that could be done. So i argued with the officer and told him to just check out the court proceedings and reports from the police from where the incident took place, and about 20 minutes later i was contacted by the RCMP apologizing to me and alerts were sent out to all police stations so that no matter where i was they would respond. But it took me standing up to the police to get anything done, and i had not received another incident from him again. Be firm with the police and always report incidents of your stalker, go to court, get peace bonds and restraining orders so everything is on record, it may in some circumstances not save your life but they will know who did it. Please always be aware of your surroundings and never develop route habits or the times you do anything always change it up, and never respond to the stalker

11 yrs ago i was stalked by my ex. He also put my details on a porn site n i had disgusting letters by some really perverted people. He chased me down a street with a pair of scissors n used to camp outside my home. Even going as far as following me n my then new partner (with whome im still with) around our town going into the same shops and making a nuisance of himself. One store security guard called police n i had to press charges n give over all and any new perverted letters i was sent by him and the porn site which the police found that it was him using my info . He threatened to kill me n my mother! It went on for 2 years n thanks to that security guard it finally ended.
I'm glad it all worked out. This sounded like it was on a fast track to getting way worse. That security guard is your guardian angel. No pun intended.
I have never understood stalking a woman. What does the stalker plan on accomplishing? Does he think it will make her come to her senses? I had a woman stalk me for about a week. I was never scared, just annoyed. She would sit across the street from my house and just sit and watch my house, it had to be boring. But when a man does this, it is a horrible experience for the woman. I hope that man leaves you alone. I do know a woman who has been stalked on and off for 10 years. I think at some point he will become dangerous. All she did was go on a date with him twice.

What really stood out for the police though was a letter he sent me saying he was gonna kidnapped me, torture me n kill me. He would text me saying he loved me n no one loved me as much as him. It took 3 years of hell but it still stays with me u know? My ex b4 him tried to bundle me into the boot of his car to drive off with me. Thankfully Im with someone who knows how to love n respect 😃
Cherie Legg I met her on a dating site. I talked to her once and she told me that she wanted a boyfriend right away, she wanted to bypass all the dating. I talked to her on the phone one time, and the next day she called me 11 times. I was done at that point. When she got engaged, she wanted me to meet the guy so i could see what I was missing out on....lol I declined. But I was never scared of her at all, just felt she had some issues
I just found out that I had a stalker. I didn't know until a few Weeks ago. I was Walking back to my apartment from the park when I saw a guy blocking the walkway to the apartments. When he saw me he called out to me using my name. I didn't recognize him so I try to get out of the situation and get to my door but he wouldn't let me by. He claimed that he was my boyfriend and that he was angry that I didn't answer his calls. He then started yell at the air behind him saying he didn't get the number wrong and said my old phone number that been deactivated. See he wasn't well I offered to get help but he then slammed me into the wall saying he would kill me if I ran away pulling a pocket knife out and started to scream at invisible people. He started to confess that he loves him and he loved to watch me clean when the windows were open. I decided to play along and say I was sorry saying my phone died and allow him to kiss him. I suggest we went to the park as a date. Once there I went to the bathroom I called 911. A cop come by and arrested the dude. That when I learned he was an old classmate from the special ED class I use to help out in. I am not even that shaken up. I'm actually sad for the dude. He was clearly dealing with mental issues and just confused. But I still can't sleep well at night or have my blinds open.
That guy is schizophrenic! Stay away from those people! They have imaginary people in their brain that apparently tell lies and other stuff. But yeah, I feel bad for them too. It's sad that sicknesses can bring people to who knows where, and they could've lived a normal life. That sickness could have come from his ancestors who had some kind of mental sickness, smoked, etc but I'm not sure if schizophrenia comes from these things.

My mother was stalked once when she was a young lady in college. To this day, even talking about stalkers makes her so freaked out that she shuts the conversation down. The psychological effects of being stalked are no joke.
I had a stalker once. When I was sixteen in my sophomore year a boy(who shall remain nameless) followed me between classes repeatedly, I thought nothing of it as we shared three classes together. However, later in the school year I noticed a drastic change, he would follow me home and knock on the door and profess his love for me, like Laura, each time he did this I would politely decline. This didn't stop him. One day I was home alone my parents were on a business trip and I had to stay and take care of myself. About an hour into the first day of my parents absence he came knocking at the front door. Realizing no one was home but me he forcefully entered the house. He started beating me relentlessly punching and kicking me in the face, ribs and stomach. As I struggled to get away he started pulling my leg.... just like I'm doing to you right now.
I had 3 stalkers in high school who all threatened to kill me, one came so close to cutting my throat, he ended up beating me up as did the other 2, I told several teachers and they all got involved with the authorities and expelled. To this day the experience of almost having my throat cut, scares me half to death and gives me nightmares. I've become very anti-social and very closed about myself due to that. It happened 2 years ago, and it has affected me in more ways than one. I'm no self-harmer, but I do get really traumatized and afraid easily.
Nick | Hazvrd I do want to get help, but the thing is, I always have the thought of if I open up and expose my weakness, then it'll get used against me in the worst ways possible, I was 15 when the attacks happened, I'm currently 17 and will be 18 this year on november 22nd, I do know help is essential in fixing problems and that you have to "Face your fears" but a lot of the time it just gives me really high anxiety
None of my business but, do you have a councillor? if not i recomend getting one they really helped me when i had depression and i know its not the same but still, believe me it works

I once always felt like someone was watching me. Then, in second grade, I found out I was. It was a normal day, then someone random came up to me and stared to talk to me. I walked away, a bit weirded out by this, then he came back, this time not just talking to me, but following me wherever I went. I was a safe kid, so i told a teacher that a kid was following me. He kept following me, so i punched him in the stomach and left him on the ground. Yeah, I was a turd in my childhood.
Lord Ender on the other hand that kid probably got slagged the hell out of for getting beat up by a girl. (not trying to be sexist mind u, it's just in childhood getting beat by a girl is an embarrassing thing due to a youths ignorance to the real world).
I met a guy at a party back in 2003. We talked, it was just friendly, no flirting. Afterwards this man got a hold of my phone number and started calling me relentlessly. I changed my number and he disappeared. Years later he once again found me and began harassing. He threatened my life and claimed I ruined his. Changed my number again and he found me on facebook using a fake account. He found out where I worked and emailed HR. To this day this man is still stalking me. It's possibly the worst feeling. Seeing this video I think I should start taking legal action against him.
I remember I had this one time, where I was seeing this girl for about a few months. It wasn't working out very well, so I did what most people would do and break it off. She would wait for me at my doorstep every time I would come home from work or school, sometimes blocking me from my path of getting inside. So one day I left my Trusty Kalashnikov out on the side of the house, where she wouldn't know where it was, and when I saw her the next day. I aimed it at her and said that if she did not leave my property that my state would allow me to use my stand my ground laws to protect my land, allowing me to shoot her. I never heard from her again :P
What really happened was while she waited she walked round ur house looking for a way in, found ur rifle, waited for you, shot you and do what creepy stalkers do best to the ones they stalk.
I once had a guy see my picture in the local newspaper for my college town. He proceeded to find out who I am, how old I was, where I lived, who was in my family, my job, my class schedule, and who I talked to. After following me around class for almost 2 months without my knowledge, he approached the only girl I talked to in any of my classes after I'd left for the day, and told her that he'd met me at a party and wanted my number so we could talk again, she gave it to him. He texted me telling me the same thing and since I had previously been seeing a frat secretary, I'd been to alot of parties and thought it was entirely plausible that I'd met him, although he didn't want to give any details on the event. I didn't show any interest and often wouldn't respond to his texts although he started contacting me every hour or so for a few days. Eventually, at almost midnight, he texted me that he was outside my dorm building and would find a way to get inside if I didn't meet him by the doors. I went downstairs to say hello and asked him to leave, but he insisted we get food at the mcdonalds less than a block away. The street was fully lit and had people coming by often enough that I thought it'd be safe and that it would make him go away. Instead he dragged me into his car and drove for 30 minutes down an empty road to an unlit and deserted lake with nothing else around it. During the car ride he talked alot and I found out he was 10 years older than me and had graduated from my school years ago. He pulled me out of the car and began frantically asking me to jump into the lake for him. At this point I began screaming furiously at him to take me home and that I had work and class in the morning. He begrudgingly made his way back to the car, and got steadily more enraged as he kept attempting to hold and kiss my hand and I kept pulling away and refusing to speak to him. Every 4 or 5 minutes he'd swerve the car and yell something like, "we're going camping, right now." or "we're driving to [his hometown] right now. You're going to meet my parents" or "I'll make you spend the night with me" and I'd start screaming like a mad man at him again until he'd agree to drive me home again. As we got to my dorm, he began circling the building, pestering me to say that I'd be his girlfriend, and demanding reasons for my repeated refusal, all of which he'd immediately shoot down, and then say I had no choice. He began to speed the car up and as I finally asserted that I would not have any relationship with him romantic or otherwise I was forced to jump out of the moving car, run to my dorm, and file a report with my school to request his ban from the campus. From what I understand he has consistently contacted the school in an effort to get in contact with me, but I have had him blocked from all ways of contacting me directly

Last year started not in the ways you'd hope, when the clock hits midnight on New Years. Within days of the new year, I walked out on my porch to find different candy in the shape of a heart. I asked everyone I could think of if they had placed it there, but everyone said, "no." About two weeks later I find something else on my porch, a dead parakeet with needless stabbed into its heart. I made my first of many police reports that day. I then began having someone banging at my windows or door in all hours of the night. He then escalated to singing and humming lullabies at my bedroom window. This went on for nearly 5 months. I made over 74 police reports, but the cops didn't take me seriously. One officer even admitted he had never dealt with a stalking case before. The stalker began to follow me from my house, to friends, and to my parents home. I was coming home from visiting my parents, which was only about 4 miles from my home. He waited a few streets down and as I passed him, he threw his mustang cobra in gear, needless to say the chase was on. He managed to hit me from behind about 4 time, but thankfully I never lost control, and a passing car gave me a quick escape. Two days after the car accident I open my door, only to see my cat laying there with his neck broken, and turned backwards. The police seemed to take me more seriously, but didn't believe I didn't know this guy at all. They asked if I had a concealed weapons permit. I said, yes. They asked if I had a firearm and are well trained, both of my parents are retired police officers so, of course I'm trained. They pretty much said to use deadly force, though what I wanted was to find out who he was, and have him arrested. They said I had to find him, so I did. In got on map quest and printed a map of the entire island I live on. I went street by street, and I finally found the car. It still had paint on is front from hitting me. Plus, this Cobra is quite "tricked out", so it made it easy to find. I called an office over and for them I did as they said and found the car. They refused to do anything due to, the persons words might be against mine. I knew then I was completely on my own. After 7 months of nightly harassment, fear to leave my house past dark, of not sleeping well, I was at my end. I had gotten in the line at a fast food joint and as I was about to look up to the 2nd window, he came up behind me. I could see him much clearer than this dark figure I had watched for months. I peered into my rear view only to catch him blowing a kiss, with a wink. I was terrified and infuriated all at once. I pulled up and took my items, and waited on him to go ahead of me. One he did, I began following him. He had driven as if he was going home, but as he turned I kept going. I drove up about 10 streets, and planned to turn around in someone's driveway. Just ⅞ I was backing up, he came from behind and blocked me in. He began screaming wanting to know if I had gotten his tag number. I was afraid of how things escalated so quickly, and I wouldn't recommend to anyone to begin chasing your stalker. I had my gun on my lap and I was ready, but I wanted to disengage the confrontation, I told him how I was simply lost and to please let me out, and he began saying, "you know who I am, you know what I can do." He then took his hands of the wheel and began to open his door when he said, "I will show you." I pointed my gun at him and kept repeating myself for him to back his car up, don't come near me, and to let me out. He just starred at the gun for a few moments, his eyes just seemed in a daze. He finally backed up and drove off. I tried again to have help, and again I was denied because it could be my word against his. I can say successfully since that encounter in someone's driveway, he had not been around since. I have seen his car a few times, but it usually speeds off quite quickly. I'm very lucky that I'm still here, and that it did not get worse than it was. Thank you all for reading. My heart goes out to others who have or are being stalked.
I have delt with several stalkers. The worse I have had was when I worked for a local haunted house and was a character who wandered the park and took pictures. I thought I had befriended one of the security guards there which would be good incase I ever had a problem but he took it as more. He began telling his wife of how I would flash him and his buddies and I wouldnt wear the required clothing to make any costume child friendly. ( I wouldn't and honestly couldnt. By work rules the boobs, butt, and anything like that had to be secured to where the couldn't be shown. I also wore a corset that kept everything tight and down.) This made his wife want to kill me in order to save their marriage. I tried to tell him stay away from me but he then begane hounding me online and she did too leaving me messages. I reported them both and even told my boss who got him removed from my area. It took one incident where he tried to rape me for his company to finally see i wasn't just trying to get him removed. As for his wife she kept trying to attack me but when it came out about her mental health being a big concern her own sister called the cops and cps on her. All the letters she had sent with the threats made the case against her. All in all dont try and handle a stalker on your own. Tell someone tell several people if you have to. Trying to handle it on your own could get you hurt or killed. Stalkers will go into a mind set of that you are an item for them to own.
lol. It was because he had somehow gained my address, knew my car, got my phone number. It would be like 4am and he would call my phone while taking care of himself so " I could hear how I made him" It is why i own a tazer and mace

There was this site that I used to go on where people could rp and pvp all that stuff... I was crazy about it with my friends in school when one day on the game, some person sent me a private message about sexually raping me. Thinking that it was some kind of nut, I decided to block him but numerous people under the same name or similar to it would come back and harass me even further. Until the messages began to describe my exact appearance and traits. It was so horrifying that I completely stopped playing... But everyday from then on I would receive sticky pads on my locker saying the exact same things the stalker said on the game. Things like, "I miss you" or "we could've been together longer"
I was a police dispatcher and one time I was looking at this man's file and under employment they accidentally put night stalker instead of night stocker (he worked for a grocery store stocking shelves at night)... I thought it was funny.
I spent most of my freshman year of college in my dorm room. The school I went to was really small because their undergrad program had just started. So everyone at the dorms knew each other and we would always hang out in large groups. My first few days I notices that some guy had started hanging out with my group more often and he would always stare at me and ask for my input on everything. This was uncomfortable for me because I was super shy and awkward. Then i started noticing him everywhere. In the main campus building between classes and he seemed to be in the cafeteria whenever I was there. He would try to be discrete about it and stare at me sideways like I couldn't see him (weird af) and would make it seem a coincidence that he happen to be there. People would approach me and tell me that he wanted me to know that he really liked me. At first I was surprised as I was super timid and antisocial in high school and never talked to guys really. Then when girls started coming to my dorm room persuading me to go talk to him, even though I had already rejected the offer, it got annoying. He then would then sit in the common area outside my room facing my window during the day and would be there at 3 or 4 a.m almost every night. Any time I had to go out he was there and he would just stare at me, no facial expression. He was pretty big everywhere and I'm 5'1 so he was intimidating. He then sent me a message on Facebook asking me to meet him up somewhere alone and telling me that he had some important thing to tell me "face to face". I told him that if it was so importat he should just msg it, so he then proceeded to tell me that I was like an angel to him, and he couldn't stop thinking about me. He said he didn't want to date me just wanted me to be his best friend, and that we could become close with time. It creeped tf out of me. I ignored him the rest of the semester and never went out alone. A mutual friend told me that he had cried and then was angry at me. I felt kinda bad but we had never even talked enough for him to be so attached, the most wet talked was that fb message. How can you like a stranget that much? The next semester, I changed dorm rooms and he changed his study spot to infront of my room again. He didn't talk to me again, but would stare me down when he saw me. I was genuinely afraid, I though he was gonna kidnap me. lol freakin creeper.
yeah no he was in love with the idea of you and not the real you, which i think makes it even scarier. if he selects you, not based on compatibility but some other arbitrary reason, and you actually went along with it, what wouldve happened when you disagreed with him or if he realized you werent compatible with him on something (which youd be prone to bc again, theres likely no compatibility, just obsession). literally best case scenario he internalizes any upset and doesnt confront you and hes just your sad yandere doormat. worst case, well, you heard the other stories in the video.
He's a socially awkward romantic stalker. erotomaniac stalker. He seems pretty socially awkward doing all of that stuff. He selects girls like that based on looks probably. They probably mistake every message on fb as romantic and think their dream is coming true. Seems when reality doesn't match their dreams they try to make it fit an try to control you and they become violent and use that to control you. They demand you be what they think you are and everything else. They dont like you they want to control you or are trying to control you.

I had a stalker, he constantly messaged me on facebook, saw me in town when I was out and always tried to kiss me etc. Never taking no as an answer. Never deleted him or blocked him on FB cause I didnt know if that would enrage him or not as he often 'joked' about abducting me and preforming sex acts on me. Eventually the police got involved and now he's got a partial restraining order, so hes not allowed to contact me through and social media, or telephone or even speak to me, but he is allowed in the same room as me. If thats broken then off to court he goes and he gets a full restraining order. Unnerving.

Guys like that guys usually want sex it seems like so if you dont then you shouldn't even be talking to them especially if they tried to kiss you once coz they'll do it every time and never stop at it. Guys like that you should stay away from. As a kid we didn't know to stay away from some people or something it seems like. She was talking to him after he tried that and she said no. And kept talking to him gong around him after he kept doing it. That shows that she is confused in thinking he's her friend or something. ACtually guys like that can be big trouble it seems like because they seem to always turn violent and it gets really really really bad always, too.
This is one of the things that frighten me about moving out of my parents home and into a home of my own, as well as being broken into. Thankfully none of this has happened whilst I've been living with my parents and I have gone for several days on my own in the house without anything of the sort happening. But I have no plans to move out any time soon with another year at college soon approaching and I'm still without a job. So hopefully none of the above will happen to me. Normally, I wouldn't really comment, but since Rob invited people to share their experiences, well... I'm part of a fandom and I have a reasonable amount of popularity within it. I've got a number of awesome fans, and I don't mind most of them, even if some can be somewhat obsessive. However, there are always those who take it to a creepy level. I've found the best approach is to be direct to those people - "Hey, that thing you said makes me uncomfortable.", or something to the like. I find that most of these people don't really notice what they're doing, and don't mean to be stalkerish in the first place, which is why it's good to point it out to them; it has made quite a number of these situations much less creepy and awkward, and hopefully teaches them to remember to treat me - and others - like normal people, which we are. Though it doesn't always work; some people don't take a hint, or care. I can confirm that I have at least one true stalker. They don't like me, actually - they're obsessed with helping me 'change my life' to the 'better' path they have in mind for me, thinking that my path in life is fully flawed. I've severed contact and ignore their advances - but I also keep quiet tabs on this individual to make sure I know what they're doing. (Fortunately, I've heard next to nothing from them in the last few months.) It's good not to give attention to a stalker, as it might encourage them to give up in what they're doing...but I think it is very unwise to fully ignore them, unless you can confirm that they're not bothering you or focusing on you anymore. That's just all my two cents though. Hope it might be useful for somebody going through this stuff. :)

If I had to guess, half of the stalkers (or one part) are those guys who badger you to keep up, say, a roleplay for way too long or step over boundaries you don't want, and the other half are guys who are judging you and harassing you to get you into 'normal' stuff? You tried ignoring or blocking them?

Though I confine my unusual interests to the community that cares for it - aside from random toony avatars like my TH-cam one, haha~ Ultimately though, I don't want to bug anybody with what I like. I'll be first to admit that when you're part of a community with weird interests, it's easier to run into socially-awkward people who could potentially be stalkers, too. You're quite right about the role-play thing; there's too many people to count who simply wish to talk to me because they want to do some kinky RP, and don't care about me otherwise (and really, they only care about me for my character in the first place). I've basically stopped doing the whole RP scene over the last few years because I prefer more meaningful conversations than those usually entail - but there are totally people who won't take no for an answer. There was one guy just recently who left me some RPish comments (in public, no less), groping my character without my consent, and then when I politely declined the advance, he pushed it further. This is all just in text of course, so it doesn't hold a candle to a REAL situation in which this happens, but all the same I felt extremely uncomfortable and stopped replying to anything he said. Fortunately, blocking such people does usually fix the issue, though with the one real stalker case I have, blocking him seemed only to increase his resolve to 'get through to me'. Sometimes efforts against stalking can simply make the stalker relish the challenge, I notice. Sadly, the administration at the main site where this all transpired would not lift a finger to help beyond telling me to block this individual, so I was left to handling it as I could by myself.

Yes, the person has harassed me off of this main site, and of course the site has no jurisdiction over that. The individual broke numerous established harassment rules on the site, involving me and his treatment of some other people as well - he was always the sort to force his opinions on others. Despite numerous complaints, he has not even been warned by the site staff for his behavior, they simply allow him to behave however he wants. For years now, unfortunately. ***** Obsession exists in many forms - some simply eccentric or passionate, others actually unhealthy. And likewise, I very much like some of my personal characters, as well some other friends' characters too. But there's always a line that can be crossed, and...yes, people cross it a little too often sometimes, sadly.
A lot of people are saying that men are evil because of the fact that most stalkers are males. It's not true that men are evil, just a few. Calm down guys and look at it from a realistic point of view. Anyone can be stalked, anyone can stalk, it doesn't matter if they're male or female.

I can tell you tho that trying to get inside unannounced is one of the most creepiest things you can do..........and girls seem to do this the most (sorry woman but the way ya'll stalk is the most creepiest stalking i've ever seen in my entire life and i've been the target of one quite a few times).
When I was in middle school, my father was the principal of my school, I thought that was cool at the beginning, although I've never bragged about it in front of anyone, I preferred the students and teachers treat me like anyone else, but after a while I realized that most of the trouble I've been through was because I'm the principal's son! There was this gay bully student that had a "gang" and always got involved in fights, there's a rumor that he raped a student once. I knew he had his eyes set on me, because I was bullied by some of his friends, they never confronted me, only did pranks and sent me creepy messages, and I could some times see them staring at me from a distance. Thank God my parents transferred me to a better school before things got worse (although I never told them about what was happening), it seems like they did that because my father was promoted and left the school, and he knew that a lot of students were going to hurt me to get back at him, since he was strict and kinda harsh, and the school was horrible anyway.
***** Bullys dont respect anyone, I'v been bullyed a lot and have solved most of those problems through fighting them but they never gained any respect for me but instead feared the fact that i not only was willing to fight back but i was also able to win. However this does not work for everyone one as not everyone is going to be good at fighting or have weak bullys like i did. If you decide to fight them and lose then you will most likely give the bully more of a reason to bully you as you have just shown that even as your last resort you still can not do anything to them. Plus in this case if he had lost then he might have gotten raped, so ya not such a great plan if he is not very well built or is up against some one that is.

Also this answer is a terrible idea as it involves him becoming a murderer. Lastly, what does me not being penetrated have to do with this? I was stalked once,the guy would come and tap on my windows when i would try to go to sleep. one time i was in the shower and looked out the window and saw a black figure standing there so i dropped to the floor and stayed there for 2 hours,the guy who stalked me robbed my house when my mom and my brothers and i were at school. the cop said the guy watched us for 4 fucking years
My first “boyfriend” was a total creep. I was so desperate that I called him my boyfriend after he asked me out. He was a weird kid and more desperate than me so he asked out loners at our school, and only few actually accepted but the relationships would only last a week. I broke it off, and he began to text me so much, guilt tripping me and asking me why I’m always so angry when I politely asked him to stop, and he though he wasn’t doing anything wrong and that we were ‘friends’ I blocked him and told him to back off but he stalked me around the school and when I told him to stop he pretended he didn’t do anything so I threatened to tell the principal. He blackmailed me but I didn’t let him control me and now he’s left me alone.
This is a story about how I was stalked by multiple African-American teenagers, my life just got...flipped you know? South Chicago was where I spent most of my time, I was literally just minding my business playing basketball with some buddies, and these guys who were obviously up to no good, starting making trouble with my friends. I got in a fight with these guys, but their numbers were no match for me and my buddies. We ran away and somehow my mother found out. She was worried and scared, so she sent me to live with my Aunt and Uncle in Rockford. I begged her not to force me to move there because I'd miss my friends, but she still packed my bags and sent me away. I was in First-Class, practically drinking Capri-Sun out of a champagne glass, and I thought this lifestyle might be alright. The plane landed and when I came out there was a guy who looked like a cop, but I wasn't trying to get arrested, so I bolted. I called for a cab, and darn was I surprised! It was clean and luxurious, very very fancy. I told him "I'm going to Rockford" and gave him a smile. *I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo holmes smell ya later' I looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air*

I'm a guy and I have a stalking story too. I had a gf for 3 years and the last year we were together a cute girl moved in next door to me and my gf got crazy jealous. So for a year straight she would come to my street and park in different places and in different cars at least 3 nights a week, and at this time she lived over 100 miles away from me for school. I should have broken up with her but I just couldn't do that to her. Eventually our relationship ended by her calling me over to her parents house one night and asked me to taker her for a drive. We drove around the local almond orchards jus talking like we had done a million times, and out of no where she tells me to stop the car so she can get out. It's midnight on a dark country road so I didn't want her to just get out. I told her Id take her back home and she yelled and tried to jump out of car, so I slammed on the breaks and she got out and started running to a spot where there was a backpack. Then a car came out of no where and picked her up. The next day the police came to my house and arrested me for attempted murder and kidnapping. I spent a week in jail until in the court, she and her lawyer daddy dropped all charges and filed for a restraining order against me. So, lesson is...guys chicks can be insane and if you need to get a restraining order on her, don't hesitate to do so!
Although I consider this channel to be morbid in a cheesy, entertaining way, I did appreciate the fact that there were links to information on dealing with stalkers. Thank you. I am in a situation with this guy I dated and we didn't work out. That was in May. Its now December!! He wont leave my friends or me alone. I have trespassing orders on his mom and him. I have a no contact order but he does under fake names. Its very scary and I feel like Im not in control and guilty but this video helped cuz the first two women looked almost exactly like me and not a good sign in my book but Im not a victim, Thank you again for giving me the strength to stop this. Pray for me. For anyone else reading this in a situation that u feel u have no one. U do. Get away immediately, never go to the door and don't respond. They want a response whether its anger, guilt, fear, or trying to b kind and caring. I have found the silent treatment doesn't work. The threat of jail doesn't work.. I called the police and all they did was file a no trespassing, even though I showed the texts, I'm supposed to have a no contact order but the police officer couldn't find it.. and the fact that this time, they tried to put their foot in my door and shove it in but I managed to push the door closed and lock it and run for my phone and shotgun with no incident just them trying to kick my door in and screaming at what they will do when they get in.. I then crawled from room to room trying to see whee they were until I heard the police and my Mom. I don't want to shoot them but I am a single mom with a beautiful 10 year old lil girl and it's my job to protect us both. Thank u all so much and please continue praying for me
A guy I went to high school with carved my name into his chest with a razor blade- 11 years after high school- and sent me a picture to FB messenger. So that was pretty unnerving.
So many people are telling stories about being stalked, but from what I'm reading, it's always the victim, so perhaps my story might be a little different . . . the following story is entirely true. I know, because I was in it. When I was in high school, right out of nowhere, I had a crush on this girl from my philosophy class, basically after I lost interest in my first crush in what I recognize now as kind of a "rebound" I fell for this girl. We talked once in a while, but not often, and in retrospect I didn't really know her at all, I was just craving that feeling that I'd lost from my first crush. On the last day of school, I approached her and despite feeling terrified, I told her that I loved her - it felt like my last chance after all - and after going with some friends to the city with her, I gave her my phone number. She said it was sweet, but after making sure I was okay, since I looked overly emotional, she went to the bathroom and didn't come out, then some of our mutual friends were there. I didn't feel comfortable with everyone else around and I think the gossip was spreading fast about what had just transpired, so since I felt vulnerable and didn't feel like I could do anything else, I left. Afterwards, I received a phone call from one of her friends, a guy, who told me that she was basically saying 'No', and he was calling me with the number I'd given her. But he was an ex' of hers, and someone I'd never really respected, so after he hung up, I didn't really pay it much mind. I figured that if she wanted to say no, she would have. And even if she had thought that, I didn't think she had enough information, since I had never had the chance to show her what I could offer as a boyfriend. So, I decided to talk to her myself. I knew her name, and some information from school which I used to find her phone using a simple online phonebook. I can't remember why I decided that a phone call was a bad idea. I assume it was because I'd had a bad experience with phone calls or perhaps I was in some way aware of how much more confronting a face-to-face talk is. I wanted to talk to her in person. So, I used a similar service to find out her address, this information is freely available to those who know how to use it. I got on the train, and went to her house. Her mother answered, and I told her who I was, and that I was looking for her daughter. She went inside, and after a short moment, she came back. She said that her daughter was busy and didn't have time to see me. When I pressed and asked it I could come back another time, she said that it was a bad idea, since her daughter felt scared. She said something else then, I don't remember what it was, but it sounded like classic "mom advice". But I wasn't listening then, I just felt ashamed, and that was when I nodded and left. It was only then that I realized exactly what I was doing. I was acting obsessed, selfish and callous to reason. This is a true story, but I realized that I had turned into the villain of it. I had a hard time after that, coming to terms with having acted like such a monster, blind to the fear and insecurity I was making in someone that I "claimed" to care about. I quickly fell out of love with that girl, but I struggled with these tendencies for at least four more years. When I first started having actual dates that might have turned into actual girlfriends, they said they didn't want to stay together, because although these girls were interested in me and I was capable of being romantic, I was still much too clingy, obsessive and possessive. I had to do a lot of soul-searching when I realized that I was still falling back on these sick habits. I've come to realize that these tendencies came from a deep-seated insecurity, lack of trust in your partner, fear of rejection, discomfort from that sense of vulnerability that comes with love & a desire to control that which cannot be controlled. Right now, I actually have a girlfriend, a proper one, who loves me back. We've been a couple for three years, and it works because I actually trust her, and feel confident in us, it's a partnership. But the important difference between me and some of the people in this video - as well as a sense of morality and critical thinking skills - is a sense of self-awareness. Admittedly, I didn't see it at first, but the instant I realized that my actions weren't going to make me, or my "victims" happy, I decided to fix it.
I just hate the idea of being stalked around, even the word stalking just *erks* the hell out of me, knowing that someone that you really don't know is keeping that close eye on you.
I believe my neighbour is my stalker. He calls over at least twice everyday. I have started to say no & not open the door to him. He was helpful at first, bringing logs & sometimes food. But I had to tell him that I do not need or want his help. He is much older than me & he keeps saying very inappropriate things. He also doesn't listen to me when I say no. He insists on doing things, like cutting up logs out the back.He doesn't leave, I had to ask him to leave three times the last time he was in here. You know when someone just gives you the creeps? Everytime I go to the shops he is outside, looking at me & saying hello. There is no reason for me to go to the police tho because no laws have been broken. It is kinda sad that he has to do harm to me before I can report him :( I have now started to be rude to him. Flat out refuse to open the door & things like that so I hope he gets the message. He really is a weird guy.
yeah, that is true. We are kind of programmed to be afraid of people we don't like the look of when they could be perfectly nice people. My neighbour however, does not ever listen to what I say, when I say NO to his offers of drink and stuff, he just calls around again the next day with more wine or beer. I have told him about 15 times already that I do not drink but he still calls with wine. trying to get me drunk, I think. It is nice to be nice but I don't like when my refusal of stuff is not taken seriously. If he cannot accept a NO to drink, I dread to think what might happen if he tried something sexual on me. Thankfully he hasn't so far but he says some really inappropriate stuff that makes me feel very uncomfortable. It is also very hard to avoid him because I have to walk past his house to get to the shops or busstop & he always seems to come out when I pass by. It is just creepy. Nothing illegal has happened so I don't feel like I can even go to the police about him but I don't think I should have to wait until after he does something either. It is a sticky situation because it's all fear based & he could actually just be a lonely old man, like my friend thinks he is. I'm in my 30's and he is over 70 so it creeps me out if he is into me. It is just kind of grosse!! I asked my landlord about him & he just told me to keep away from him. He has been in trouble before, is all he would tell me. That also didn't help me feel good about him. I have told him that I know mixed martial arts & I am not afraid to kick the shit out of anyone & that I know some moves from my ultimate fighter friend so I hope that will be enough to turn him off. Time will tell, I guess.
Samantha Reynolds The only bright side, is that because of his age, you will be physically more able than him so he if he seriously crossed the line and physically tried to grab you or something, you wouldnt have too much of a struggle.But it's creepy, hope you're doing ok with it. Nothing creepier than something you can't explain. E.g, why that guy is being so weird.

I was being stalked in 2013's summer and it actually got to the point of my stalker, who I later found to be one of my sisters ex boyfriends, to sleep outside of my familes house. I finally became aware of his stalking behaviour when my girlfriend and I were walking down the street and she saw him follow us around every turn. Later that week he confronted me outside of my highschool while I was waiting with my girlfriend for a ride. He began to talk to us (remember at that point I still didn't know who my stalker was) and soon he began to talk about stuff that only my close friends and families knew. I asked him how he knew those details, and he pulled out a knife from his bag. He then tried to stab me in my heart. It was the most terrorfying event of my life. But thanks to my training in karate I managed to knock him unconscious with a punch to the tip of the jaw. I was stabbed in the fight in my right arm. And he suffered a broken collar bone and 3 broken ribs from me. While he was unconscious my girlfriend phoned the police. After he was arrested by the police and questioned, I was told who he was and that he often slept outside my house. He was sentenced 20 years in prison for attempted murder. If it was not for my study of martial arts I would not be alive today.
I had a stalker in middle school. He was in Special Needs and Anger Management in an upper middle class school (i was the poorest kid there). I stopped him from being picked on, so he sort of fell in love with me. I felt bad, so i stayed nice, but still tried hard to tell him i wasn't interested. I really had to get things settled when he went as far as to carve my full name into his leg, then had a freak out when he realized he misspelled my middle name. In the end i went to the high school that was closer to me(it was a poor area, so my mom tried to send me to a better spot, but it was to much money), and he went to his high school, never saw him again.
I am currently 14 and I was stalked when I was 11, my 2 younger sisters (9 and 5 at the time) and I were followed home from school school by a blue car and a dark man in a sports uniform, we told our parents who just said it was a scary coincidence but prompted us to stay in doors, me being the inquisitive little kid I was I stayed by the window and saw the car drive slowly up and down the hill but thought nothing of it... The next morning the 3 of us walked to school as usual and the blue car was still following us, the walk to school was not far but we still hurried to the main road. We told our prinicupal everything who took note and called the police who were then told to stay on alert around the school... We were driven home that afternoon and never saw the car again... The following year my two siblings stayed in primary and I moved onto high school, before school the morning news came on of an exact description of a man who had molested a young girl who went to our school.... He was arrested of course but I cannot tell you how relieved I am that it wasn't my sisters and I who were the victims! So that's my story... I hope it never happens to me or my family again... When I was in middle school, there was this boy only a year or so older than me at the time that followed my sister and I home literally every day and sometimes followed me around school. He'd flirt with us and touch us and just generally make us uncomfortable, and no matter how much we tried to deter him, he wouldn't leave us alone. Thankfully it didn't get too bad, he eventually moved away and we were rid of him...
I'm pretty sure I've been stalked. My first semester of college there was a guy in my algebra class. He would always try to talk to me and ask for my phone number. I of course was creeped out that I try moving seats the next class time. He would still sit in front or behind me. What freaked me out the most is that I would see him around my campus and he smirk at me.. I saw him at the library, student center, math building, computer labs..too much of a coincidence. I even saw him once outside of school at some restaurant and he said "hey". This happened almost 2 years ago I don't think I have seen him since then but it was really freaky.
These types of videos are so important Rob, and I want to personally thank you for bringing this type of crime to so many viewers. When I was younger I had a stalker for several years....sending strange typed letters describing places I had been, what I was wearing, down to things I had bought from various store. Also, every letter or card was a picture of his telescope in wooded areas, and scary bible verses. My husband at the time tried to involve the police, but in those days they said unless he physically made contact or attacked me there was nothing they could do. Fortunately I moved hours away and I haven't heard from him again. But, to this day I have a hard time being as friendly as I always had been... and being raised in the South you are taught strict manners at an early age. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful he never hurt me physically, but I hate the fact that he somewhat changed my personality and view of strangers.
it was the worst experience of my life. A guy who I have been with for a one night stand down where i went to college began following me around to and from work as well as online. He would at first leave love notes at my apt. followed by death threats. I ended up getting drugged and raped by him. I was too scarred to make a police report based on the fact I was gay and I lived in Alabama but it took a long time to recover from that moment. This is the first time I have ever said anything about that night.
Ok. First of all, you need to take a deep breath. Next, you need to pick up the phone and tell police about this because this man could be doing things to people RIGHT NOW.
This hits close to home for me because when I was younger and being slightly autistic, I didn't know how to talk to girls or boys so I sent them love letters. They took it as me "stalking" them and got law enforcement and my high school involved. One person almost pressed charges. Just for innocently sending them love letters. I admit it probably wasn't the best thing I've done but I was too shy to approach them. What stinks is, when I finally got the hang of talk to people they already labeled me a psychopath for just expressing my feelings. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome did the school and law enforcement understood why I did what I did. I never threatened these people, never said any creepy sexual desires, just honestly told them how beautiful they were and asked them out. I never followed them, knew where they lived, or even wanted to. So to everybody out there, the next time you use the walk "stalk", make sure the person is actually FOLLOWING YOU everywhere before dropping a powerful word like that. That could've been a innocent Autistic person trying to express their feelings. Express digression.
It's terrible that they called you a stalker. Love letters are perhaps not the best idea in getting people to go on dates with you, but I still think it was very sweet of you to do so nonetheless. :P
That reminds me that one of my friends asked a few questions about me to my crush. He called me a stalker in one of the questions and I wanted a apology. He just shrugged and walked away. He was one hell of a douchebag.
I, unfortunately, had to deal with a stalker last year... I was a sophomore in high school (I had just turned 16) and my friend had introduced me to this girl, a freshman who was 2 years younger than me (age 14), it started as just a harmless friendship, but she started showing this attraction to me (casual hugs and crap like that), and eventually she decided to ask me out, naturally I said no, because of the age difference (just felt a little weird to me), after that she became aggressive and relentless, finding me on various social media sites without even knowing my last name and tricking my friend into giving her my number... I would get calls at 2 am, creepy Facebook messages, twitter spam, and she even threatened to kill herself or me to "prove how much she loved me"... I showed my friend everything and he showed me what she had sent him which was pretty much the same as what I got, so I got the school involved, because she was waiting for me after classes, and eventually got police involved, because of the increasing amount of suicide/death threats I received, so she ended up in therapy and I haven't heard from her since... If you are experiencing something similar, be sure to save everything and involve the proper authorities.

I've been stalked by a boy that had a crush on me back in middle school. my advice for anyone it may apply to: if someone says they'll kill themself if you don't go out with them, never ever feel like its your responsibility to keep them alive by dating them. tell someone, especially a parent or a teacher. most of the time they would never ever do that anyway, they're just manipulating you. and even if the worst scenario happens and they do harm themself to guilt you, please be aware that it was not. your. fault. you are a good person and can not control the actions of others. stay safe and take care of yourselves.
I had a situation in high school with a guy would wouldn't take no for an answer. He had a MySpace page dedicated to me with like a million icons. He'd also steal pictures of me and make out with them in front of people. He'd also show up at my house at night unannouced. The list goes on. He was training to be a Navy Seal at the time. I was dating someone else, but it wasn't serious and I liked that. However, my mom was trying to get me "married off" and was encouraging me to dump my bf and go out with my stalker instead. My entire high school class was telling me to stay away from this guy. The only two people who wanted me to date him were two people I was living with; my brother and mother. It was really scary because they even tried to get me in a car alone with him! I had to call my friend and embarass my mom (who was a high school teacher at my school) in order to ensure I wouldn't get put in the car. I even was talking to a cop at my karate school about getting a restraining order without having my parents sign off, which of course pissed of my mom. My mom has since apologized for her insane thinking and I stopped talking to my brother completely. It sucks because my mom always claimed that she kept me "safe" but the only person who ever really did protect me in my family was myself. Martial Arts training was vital in my survival in my younger years.
Athen239 Pretty much I was talking to cops without telling my family, gathering evidence, and leaving information with my friends so that if I disapeared they could tip the police. I stayed out of the house as much as possible too. Eventually he left, ended up in the Navy instead of the Navy Seals due to a medical issue and that was that. If your family isn't doing right by you, you owe no loyality to them. It's your safety and don't be scared to contact outside resources for help, even if it means pissing off family members who are too stupid to see you're in danger.
I was stalked off and on for about 12 years. The "man" finally moved to Canada, and you would think that he would then finally leave me alone, but he found my number on my Facebook page and called me. I was able to block him, and, thankfully he hasn't called me since, and hopefully never will. His family told me that he's currently in California. Bastard. He can STAY THERE for all I care.

I was stalked once. I didn't notice it at first, but I used to see this guy around a lot. He always wore the same tracksuit, hood up smoking a cigarette or just having his hands in his pockets and he'd just always be where I was, hanging around like he was waiting for someone, sometimes on a phone. Originally I thought nothing of it as I don't live in a huge area so seeing someone more than once is quite common, but what made him stick out was the fact he was always either constantly glancing over in my direction or he would slowly get closer, but he'd never approach as I barely go out alone and most of these times I was with the lady I am a carer for. Then one night I was coming home from my friends birthday, it was dark as it was about 8pm. I got off the bus and as I went up the bridge that I have to walk over to get home I saw him there, looking in another direction and checking his watch like he was waiting for someone. He glanced at me as I walked past and then started following me. Now I am a very paranoid person and do not like it when someone is walking behind me so closely, if someone is walking behind me I either slow down to let them pass me or do a sudden quick turn as if I am going the wrong way so that I can get a good look at them. For him, I slowed down as I could see him in the corner of my eye, he wasn't directly behind me and I wouldn't of gotten a decent look as the lights on this bridge are really shit. As I did, he started walking past me and as he did walk past, I got a good look at him in the street light that I had purposely stopped under. He glared at me as he walked past and said "Why are you stopping?", before mumbling and continuing on. As he did, I grabbed my phone in my bag and pretended to answer a text message. This bridge isn't long, but there is a dark spot on it where it crosses over the train tracks below. There isn't a streetlight there so it is pitch black until you get to the next light which is the one at the end of the bridge, nine times out of ten this one is broken and tonight was no exception. As he reached the dark spot, he stopped. He was in a light grey tracksuit so I could see him clearly, he just loitered at the opening of the dark spot, first pretending to be adjusting his shoes or stretching against the bridge wall, then he just leant against the wall and acted like he was waiting for someone like he was initially when I had come onto the bridge, all the while he kept glancing back at me to see if I had started walking again. I'm not stupid and have dealt with being mugged before, so I know better than to walk past someone acting suspiciously. I watched what he was doing before taking a couple of steps back and heading back off the bridge. He noticed and started following me back to the bus stop but this time he was quite a way away as he'd walked quite far in front of me, all the while shouting things at me like "Now where are you going?" "Just go home" "I'm not going to hurt you". As I got off the bridge I went to the first street I could see with a road sign and called the police whilst heading there. When he heard me say "Police please" on my phone he shouted insults at me before stopping his following. He just stood there shouting at me as I reported him, so I could give them a very accurate description since he was literally just standing there, hood down under a light. The police lady kept me on the phone and a police car arrived about a minute later. When he saw the flashing lights he ran back for the bridge but they caught him before he made it there. He continued to shout insults at me as he was put into the police car that had just turned up and I stayed with a copper until another arrived which took me home. After telling the police about everything they suspected that he either did have plans for me that night, or he was going to follow me home to see where I lived in order to possibly plan something later. Last thing I heard from the police was that he admitted that he did have intentions to harm me "and more" and I have never seen him since, though I will never cross that bridge after dark alone again. Not until they fix those stupid street lights.
Most stalkers are men because men suffer from related mental illnesses more than women. Just as women are more likely to suffer from depression and anxiety. That doesn't make them evil, because let's be honest women are 10 times more abusive than men, ESPECIALLY when they're stalking them.

One of my ex's of almost 2 years used to stalk me after i left him for being controlling and crazy. He even beat up a boy i started dating a month after i left him, so that boy broke up with me. One time, the stalking ex thought it was a good idea to grab ahold of me and try to force me to stay in a room with him. He got a mouth full of my fist. I've heard hes alot nicer to his new g/f's now lol
I had a creepy stalker in college once. She followed me to class, sent me nasty, sexual e-mails, then started to spread rumors, and then she started following me to my campus job, where one night she left her nasty, dirty underwear on my car and keyed it as well. Thanks to having DNA evidence, and calling the police ASAP, I was able to press charges and get a restraining order... but it was VERY unsettling. PLEASE - Go to the police IMMEDIATELY if you think you have a stalker, report all instances of what they do, either to the police, or write down incidents with dates and times. Whatever you do - eliminate all contact COMPLETELY - don't even acknowledge your stalker. The police told me that when you do that, it makes them feel like they can win. Most importantly - call anyone if you ever feel in danger or that your peace is being compromised by another person, and they will not go away. Best of luck, stay strong, and know that you are loved. Never ever not tell your friends or family what is going on, it could save you!!
i am currently being stalked, its been going on now for about eight months. it all started when a boy in my school began to take an interest in me. he would sit across the room from me and just stare. it felt weird and wrong but i didn't think anything of it. that went on for a while until one day he followed me out of class. i tried to walk fast to get away from him, but he was faster he grabbed me by the shoulder and spun me around. he was holding a piece of paper with a strange symbol on it. he asked me if i knew what it was. in fear and confusion i said yes. his eyes widened, and he said "good". he turned and walked away. i got into my car and began to drive away, i looked up and he was staring out the window at me. again i thought nothing of it. later that month i went to a party with one of my friends. he was there. he sat down at the table across from me and handed me a drink. i took it but didn't drink it, as there was white powder floating near the bottom. he took notice that i didn't drink it and got angry. he clutched his cup so tight that it broke in his hand sending shards of glass and alcohol everywhere. i promptly left. the next day i slept on the living room couch. our home has large windows pointing toward the street, i finally settled down on the couch at around 2:55 am. i noticed a light flickering between two of our bushes. i thought it was the reflection of headlights so i ignored it. i closed my eyes and waited for the car that caused them. nothing came. i opened my eyes, and the light was still there, flashing on and off. i stared at it eyes wide, i soon realized this was no headlight, it was a flashlight. i stared for three hours the dark shadow of a person and the beat of the blinking light continued. the person was back lit and perfectly outlined. he would stand and sit, ant one point he lied down obviously struggling to stay still. 5 am rolled up and he finally just walked away. i was creeped. very creeped. i made a point to lock the doors, and windows after that night.a while after that maybe a month and a half, i went out onto my porch to smoke a cigarette. it was almost 3.30 am. i put on my lipgloss so the cig wouldn't burn my lips, just like i always do. i finished and flicked the butt into the bushes. the next day i waited in the lot for my grandma to come pick me up and take me to class. i looked over at the arch over our walkway. there was a dead dove, hanging off the arch by some kind of internal vein or tendon. the head was pulled off and hanging to the side. the rest of the creature was unharmed. i went over to look closer. by cigarette butt was stuffed in the neck hole. with my pink lipgloss stained on the tip. i lost it. i freaked out. i cried. and then i got over it. time passed, another month or two. i sat out in the yard next to the street, reading like i always do. i noticed a van with tinted windows pass by me more than a few times. i remembered the horror that ensued a few months back and i quickly went inside. i watched out of the living rooms large window. the van drove by once more and quickly stopped. a man got out, and to my horror and shock it was him. the guy from the party. he climbed out and left a paper on the bench, he then sped away. carefully, with a kitchen knife in hand i retrieved the note. i braught it inside and locked the door behind me. i opened the thing with trembling hands. the note was scribbled, almost not legible, with English letters but not English words. i typed the words into google translate. it was Latin, and it read as follows. "hello my love. did you get my little gift, i hung it where i knew you would see it. i want you to know that i love you. and that is why you have to die. that is why im going to kill you soon. don't worry ill make it fast. we can be together forever you know? consider my offer darling. there is no deeper love than what i feel for you. " before i could even think vomit filled my mouth. i dropped the note and ran to the bathroom. i called the police and they were there within a matter of minutes. they said and i quote "there is not much we can do at this point. your vomit makes the note un legible. so we cannot say any threat has been made." i set cameras up to catch this motherfucker in action. i got a handgun, and deadbolt locks for my doors. another month passed with nothing going on. i could finally relax. i returned to reading by the street, i wasn't going to abandon my routine because of this guy. the day after i began doing that again i awoke like normal. i went to open my blackout curtains. and what i saw sent me flying across the room. off my bed backwards and onto the floor. there hung a "sculpture" made of sticks and some type of animal entrails. the thing resembled the face of what i can only describe as Satan. it took up my whole window. witch was not at all small. i sat in the corner of my room rocking back and forth for what seemed like an eternity until my mom got home. she opened the door and only saw me. she rushed to my side. she asked what was wrong shaking me by my shoulders. i pointed to the window with a trembling finger. i could not speak. she looked over and reacted the same way i did. a blood curdling scream, and i lunge backwards. she dragged me to the police station. we filed a report and came home to clean up the bloody mess. when we went outside we could see the entire "piece". the thing was grotesque. i could now see the guts were that of one of out pet rabbits. on the bottom hung a note. "well my darling. i can see you have not considered my offer. oh well. i wanted to make things easy. but you insist on playing hard to kill." i went unconscious. i awoke a couple seconds later with my mom dragging me into the house and locking the door behind us. i told my then best friend and she insisted we do some investigation of our own. we went back into the woods that were in our property. finally we got to the old cabin. and there in the side was his name carved in with what looked like a huge blade. he had been here... inside i found a horror beyond recognition. a pentagram on the floor in salt. three black candles on each point. and a dead cat gutted and nails through its paws sprawled out in the middle. once again i vomit. we run back to my home. that was a week ago. this nightmare continues. every day i find another note. if you want to stay in the loop just message me, i would be happy to update you all. best wishes.
attackthecanvas I would document all of this. Take photo's, build a case. with enough evidence like this I don't see how police could ignore it. At the very least they should grant you a restraining order against this guy. Hoping for the best :(

This is a minor one, but one of my schoolmates had a weird crush on me, in that he would would try to follow behind me at school, or just stare stare at me for long periods of time, or just make up any excuse to just come close to me. eg. Talk to someone who I'm standing next too. There was one really creepy incident where he followed me on my way home from school. First time, he caught right next to me on my walk (I walk rather slow). Luckily, there was a route where I could take a detour and I ran. He didn't continue following me after that. Some time later (Don't remember how long) I saw him following after me again, and I just ran through the nearest short cut back home. The sad part is, that he is actually a nice guy. He has autism so he was rather shy, and didn't want to talk about his feelings towards me. I'm also rather guilty of being a jerk, as I yelled at him several times for his behavior knowing full well about his autism. Yes, I did tell the teachers, but they did little to stop it. They just said "But that is how he is". I feel this whole situation could had been handled alot differently.
I also have autism but I show very little sighs and most ppl ( maybe 95% ) think im nomal. What he is showing doesn't necessarily mean that its his autism as that is average behavior in stalkers.
I have autism as well. The thing about autism is that before I was diagnosed (and even sometimes after) I didn't know that some of the things I was doing was considered wrong or weird. I did get feedback for it, though, and as I've grown older it's become less frequent that I get told that maybe I was hanging around someone for too long or maybe I said something that was considered rude or passive-aggressive. I've naturally become more knowledgeable and aware of what I should do and how I should act in any given situation, but I also think it depends on the severity of the diagnosis itself.
If he has short and curly black hair, a small mustache, and blue eyes, then you have had the exact same experience as me. Only, he said he he loved me, and I politely told him I didn't feel the same. And he couldn't follow me home; I rode in a car. But, he would try and follow me all over the place and never left me alone. The teachers said that it was his autistic behavior, and I should be more considerate. Funny thing is, I do too. What's funnier, is that that was not normal autistic behavior. That is normal stalker behavior.

there was a neighbor of mine who used to sit out on his porch and staring into my window until I went to bed...when I would turn the lights out and draw the blinds, he would go inside to his house seconds later... he approached me multiple times at my apartment.I had a pitbull so she was intimidating enough for him to stay away for the most part.. but I went to a local community college and he would lurk about campus. he didn't attend the college, I found this out because there was a posting on a bulletin board that said he was a child molester and there was a warning to report him if he was on campus... just a real creep.

My true creepy stalker story.
A man was caught breaking into our home in CA where I was living with my mom. He was dressed all in black and the police found in his duffle bag a roll of duct tape, rope and a large hunting knife. He had snuck into our house during the day when no one was home and unlocked one of the windows (my mom insisted on leaving the doors unlocked during the day). During his trial he admitted he'd spotted me at a store or something and had been stalking me for 6 months but would not say what the knife, duct tape and rope was going to be used for. He went to prison for attempted kidnapping and hopefully he's still there.
I try not to live in fear but I always carry a gun now. I also don't give out my personal info freely.

So this story happened to me in 10th grade. One of my best friends was introduced to a guy I'll call Marcus. He seemed okay, quiet, but he didn't seem like the guy who would do anything. He occasionally hung out around us. However, that was until January after winter break. One day my friend, who I'll call Sam, was walking with me and another best friend of mine, who I'll refer to as Melanie. We were walking around the hall after school, waiting for another friend of ours, Sam's face goes pale, and she begins looking behind her constantly. Suddenly, she grabs both of our hands, and begins to run down the hall with us frantically asking what was wrong. Footsteps could be heard behind us and who do you think it is? Marcus. Even after these years the look on his face still gives me the chills. We ask Sam what was going on and she told us he was not only making continuous unwanted crude advanvements, but had, on occasions try to follow her home. When we asked why she didn't tell us sooner, she told us she thought we wouldn't believe her, as she had told her parents and they didn't believe her. We immediately took action reporting him, but ALL of them were dropped. ALL of them. It disgusts me even to this day. The attempts seemed to make his actions even WORSE. He began following Melanie and I, not to mention going after our other friends too. There was an incident where he tried to follow me on the train, leading me to book it in hoping he wouldnt find my address. After an incident where he began harassing one of us who was romantically involved and remarking information that we never told him, we tried one last time with our head counselour, Katherine. Her words make my blood boil. This woman looked us in the eye and said.
"Why are you being so shallow, he only wants to be your friend." If I didn't care about my future, I would've slapped her, maybe even punched her right there. And what did Marcus do? What they always do, pull the pity card.
"Oh why are girls so shallow?"
"You should be GRATEFUL."
"You should give him a chance."
And all the rest of their bull shit excuses. Hell even one of our so call 'friends' actually sympathized with this bastard. We tried to file a police report, however because we weren't beaten with a pipe or anything they wouldn't or couldn't do a thing. When I reported that he tried to grind on me in a public transportation, the police officers first question, "What were you wearing?" So you can imagine how far THAT report went. Marcus continued with many other acts some of which I won't go into here for personal reasons. But eventually he left and went upstate thank god. No one, whether you are a man or a woman should have to deal with a stalker ever. I am glad it didn't get worse than what could have, but I hope anyone else out there who is dealing with one finds a way out.

I had a tech stalker once. I was 13 and somehow a 44 year old man named Marcus from a distant state had gotten a hold of my number. At first he simply asked who I was and I didn't tell him, just said "you first", and he told me about himself and said he was "looking for someone to please." I never responded after that. He called and texted me continuously for 6 weeks until my parents changed my number. After about 4 weeks he started blocking his number so it only said it was from a private caller. The first time he called this way I didn't think it would be him and answered. I'll never forget the way he said "hello." After just that one word I was chilled to the bone, hung up, turned off my phone, and didn't turn it on for 3 days, only to come back to 74 text messages and 5 calls/voicemails from, you guessed it, Marcus. The voicemails just had a mix of static and random household background noise, like a tv and faint voices. I had my older sister listen to them before I did. I was terrified of this man.

I doubt my own story would help anyone as I went about it the "wrong way", according to authorities. I have had a very bad temper ever since I was very small. I was not the kid to tolerate being bullied. So when it happened that I had acquired a stalker, I was the wrong target for him to have picked. He used to hide across the street from my apartment and wait for me to come out. He'd then follow me everywhere I went. Each time, my anger grew more intense. Finally one day I'd had enough and I was very close to a blind rage. I picked up my baseball bat, walked across the street to the tree he'd been hiding behind, and slammed my bat into the tree where his head had been. I told him in no uncertain terms that if I ever saw him hanging around my home or workplace again, there'd be no tree to protect him. I'm guessing he attached himself to someone else after that because I never saw him again. I still feel bad about hurting the tree, though.

Thank you for this video, i myself was stalked by my daughter's father who had previously beat me relentlessly and was charged and sent to jail. When he was released he came to the area in which i lived and had his sister call me, and he was calling my mother pretending to be a friend trying to get my phone number, and also called my mother's neighbour asking her for my number, which was a violation of his probation. I was very frightened and called the RCMP and at first was told that since he did not do anything physical to me there was nothing that could be done. So i argued with the officer and told him to just check out the court proceedings and reports from the police from where the incident took place, and about 20 minutes later i was contacted by the RCMP apologizing to me and alerts were sent out to all police stations so that no matter where i was they would respond. But it took me standing up to the police to get anything done, and i had not received another incident from him again. Be firm with the police and always report incidents of your stalker, go to court, get peace bonds and restraining orders so everything is on record, it may in some circumstances not save your life but they will know who did it. Please always be aware of your surroundings and never develop route habits or the times you do anything always change it up, and never respond to the stalker

11 yrs ago i was stalked by my ex. He also put my details on a porn site n i had disgusting letters by some really perverted people. He chased me down a street with a pair of scissors n used to camp outside my home. Even going as far as following me n my then new partner (with whome im still with) around our town going into the same shops and making a nuisance of himself. One store security guard called police n i had to press charges n give over all and any new perverted letters i was sent by him and the porn site which the police found that it was him using my info . He threatened to kill me n my mother! It went on for 2 years n thanks to that security guard it finally ended.
I'm glad it all worked out. This sounded like it was on a fast track to getting way worse. That security guard is your guardian angel. No pun intended.
I have never understood stalking a woman. What does the stalker plan on accomplishing? Does he think it will make her come to her senses? I had a woman stalk me for about a week. I was never scared, just annoyed. She would sit across the street from my house and just sit and watch my house, it had to be boring. But when a man does this, it is a horrible experience for the woman. I hope that man leaves you alone. I do know a woman who has been stalked on and off for 10 years. I think at some point he will become dangerous. All she did was go on a date with him twice.

What really stood out for the police though was a letter he sent me saying he was gonna kidnapped me, torture me n kill me. He would text me saying he loved me n no one loved me as much as him. It took 3 years of hell but it still stays with me u know? My ex b4 him tried to bundle me into the boot of his car to drive off with me. Thankfully Im with someone who knows how to love n respect 😃

I just found out that I had a stalker. I didn't know until a few Weeks ago.
I was Walking back to my apartment from the park when I saw a guy blocking the walkway to the apartments. When he saw me he called out to me using my name. I didn't recognize him so I try to get out of the situation and get to my door but he wouldn't let me by. He claimed that he was my boyfriend and that he was angry that I didn't answer his calls. He then started yell at the air behind him saying he didn't get the number wrong and said my old phone number that been deactivated. See he wasn't well I offered to get help but he then slammed me into the wall saying he would kill me if I ran away pulling a pocket knife out and started to scream at invisible people. He started to confess that he loves him and he loved to watch me clean when the windows were open. I decided to play along and say I was sorry saying my phone died and allow him to kiss him. I suggest we went to the park as a date. Once there I went to the bathroom I called 911. A cop come by and arrested the dude. That when I learned he was an old classmate from the special ED class I use to help out in.
I am not even that shaken up. I'm actually sad for the dude. He was clearly dealing with mental issues and just confused. But I still can't sleep well at night or have my blinds open.

That guy is schizophrenic! Stay away from those people! They have imaginary people in their brain that apparently tell lies and other stuff. But yeah, I feel bad for them too. It's sad that sicknesses can bring people to who knows where, and they could've lived a normal life. That sickness could have come from his ancestors who had some kind of mental sickness, smoked, etc but I'm not sure if schizophrenia comes from these things.

My mother was stalked once when she was a young lady in college. To this day, even talking about stalkers makes her so freaked out that she shuts the conversation down. The psychological effects of being stalked are no joke.
I had a stalker once. When I was sixteen in my sophomore year a boy(who shall remain nameless) followed me between classes repeatedly, I thought nothing of it as we shared three classes together. However, later in the school year I noticed a drastic change, he would follow me home and knock on the door and profess his love for me, like Laura, each time he did this I would politely decline. This didn't stop him. One day I was home alone my parents were on a business trip and I had to stay and take care of myself. About an hour into the first day of my parents absence he came knocking at the front door. Realizing no one was home but me he forcefully entered the house. He started beating me relentlessly punching and kicking me in the face, ribs and stomach. As I struggled to get away he started pulling my leg.... just like I'm doing to you right now.

I had 3 stalkers in high school who all threatened to kill me, one came so close to cutting my throat, he ended up beating me up as did the other 2, I told several teachers and they all got involved with the authorities and expelled. To this day the experience of almost having my throat cut, scares me half to death and gives me nightmares. I've become very anti-social and very closed about myself due to that. It happened 2 years ago, and it has affected me in more ways than one. I'm no self-harmer, but I do get really traumatized and afraid easily.

Nick | Hazvrd I do want to get help, but the thing is, I always have the thought of if I open up and expose my weakness, then it'll get used against me in the worst ways possible, I was 15 when the attacks happened, I'm currently 17 and will be 18 this year on november 22nd, I do know help is essential in fixing problems and that you have to "Face your fears" but a lot of the time it just gives me really high anxiety

I once always felt like someone was watching me. Then, in second grade, I found out I was. It was a normal day, then someone random came up to me and stared to talk to me. I walked away, a bit weirded out by this, then he came back, this time not just talking to me, but following me wherever I went. I was a safe kid, so i told a teacher that a kid was following me. He kept following me, so i punched him in the stomach and left him on the ground.

I met a guy at a party back in 2003. We talked, it was just friendly, no flirting. Afterwards this man got a hold of my phone number and started calling me relentlessly. I changed my number and he disappeared. Years later he once again found me and began harassing. He threatened my life and claimed I ruined his. Changed my number again and he found me on facebook using a fake account. He found out where I worked and emailed HR. To this day this man is still stalking me. It's possibly the worst feeling. Seeing this video I think I should start taking legal action against him.

I remember I had this one time, where I was seeing this girl for about a few months. It wasn't working out very well, so I did what most people would do and break it off. She would wait for me at my doorstep every time I would come home from work or school, sometimes blocking me from my path of getting inside. So one day I left my Trusty Kalashnikov out on the side of the house, where she wouldn't know where it was, and when I saw her the next day. I aimed it at her and said that if she did not leave my property that my state would allow me to use my stand my ground laws to protect my land, allowing me to shoot her. I never heard from her again :P

I once had a guy see my picture in the local newspaper for my college town. He proceeded to find out who I am, how old I was, where I lived, who was in my family, my job, my class schedule, and who I talked to. After following me around class for almost 2 months without my knowledge, he approached the only girl I talked to in any of my classes after I'd left for the day, and told her that he'd met me at a party and wanted my number so we could talk again, she gave it to him. He texted me telling me the same thing and since I had previously been seeing a frat secretary, I'd been to alot of parties and thought it was entirely plausible that I'd met him, although he didn't want to give any details on the event.
I didn't show any interest and often wouldn't respond to his texts although he started contacting me every hour or so for a few days. Eventually, at almost midnight, he texted me that he was outside my dorm building and would find a way to get inside if I didn't meet him by the doors. I went downstairs to say hello and asked him to leave, but he insisted we get food at the mcdonalds less than a block away. The street was fully lit and had people coming by often enough that I thought it'd be safe and that it would make him go away. Instead he dragged me into his car and drove for 30 minutes down an empty road to an unlit and deserted lake with nothing else around it. During the car ride he talked alot and I found out he was 10 years older than me and had graduated from my school years ago. He pulled me out of the car and began frantically asking me to jump into the lake for him. At this point I began screaming furiously at him to take me home and that I had work and class in the morning. He begrudgingly made his way back to the car, and got steadily more enraged as he kept attempting to hold and kiss my hand and I kept pulling away and refusing to speak to him. Every 4 or 5 minutes he'd swerve the car and yell something like, "we're going camping, right now." or "we're driving to [his hometown] right now. You're going to meet my parents" or "I'll make you spend the night with me" and I'd start screaming like a mad man at him again until he'd agree to drive me home again.
As we got to my dorm, he began circling the building, pestering me to say that I'd be his girlfriend, and demanding reasons for my repeated refusal, all of which he'd immediately shoot down, and then say I had no choice. He began to speed the car up and as I finally asserted that I would not have any relationship with him romantic or otherwise I was forced to jump out of the moving car, run to my dorm, and file a report with my school to request his ban from the campus. From what I understand he has consistently contacted the school in an effort to get in contact with me, but I have had him blocked from all ways of contacting me directly

Last year started not in the ways you'd hope, when the clock hits midnight on New Years. Within days of the new year, I walked out on my porch to find different candy in the shape of a heart. I asked everyone I could think of if they had placed it there, but everyone said, "no." About two weeks later I find something else on my porch, a dead parakeet with needless stabbed into its heart. I made my first of many police reports that day. I then began having someone banging at my windows or door in all hours of the night. He then escalated to singing and humming lullabies at my bedroom window. This went on for nearly 5 months. I made over 74 police reports, but the cops didn't take me seriously. One officer even admitted he had never dealt with a stalking case before. The stalker began to follow me from my house, to friends, and to my parents home. I was coming home from visiting my parents, which was only about 4 miles from my home. He waited a few streets down and as I passed him, he threw his mustang cobra in gear, needless to say the chase was on. He managed to hit me from behind about 4 time, but thankfully I never lost control, and a passing car gave me a quick escape. Two days after the car accident I open my door, only to see my cat laying there with his neck broken, and turned backwards. The police seemed to take me more seriously, but didn't believe I didn't know this guy at all. They asked if I had a concealed weapons permit. I said, yes. They asked if I had a firearm and are well trained, both of my parents are retired police officers so, of course I'm trained. They pretty much said to use deadly force, though what I wanted was to find out who he was, and have him arrested. They said I had to find him, so I did. In got on map quest and printed a map of the entire island I live on. I went street by street, and I finally found the car. It still had paint on is front from hitting me. Plus, this Cobra is quite "tricked out", so it made it easy to find. I called an office over and for them I did as they said and found the car. They refused to do anything due to, the persons words might be against mine. I knew then I was completely on my own. After 7 months of nightly harassment, fear to leave my house past dark, of not sleeping well, I was at my end. I had gotten in the line at a fast food joint and as I was about to look up to the 2nd window, he came up behind me. I could see him much clearer than this dark figure I had watched for months. I peered into my rear view only to catch him blowing a kiss, with a wink. I was terrified and infuriated all at once. I pulled up and took my items, and waited on him to go ahead of me. One he did, I began following him. He had driven as if he was going home, but as he turned I kept going. I drove up about 10 streets, and planned to turn around in someone's driveway. Just ⅞ I was backing up, he came from behind and blocked me in. He began screaming wanting to know if I had gotten his tag number. I was afraid of how things escalated so quickly, and I wouldn't recommend to anyone to begin chasing your stalker. I had my gun on my lap and I was ready, but I wanted to disengage the confrontation, I told him how I was simply lost and to please let me out, and he began saying, "you know who I am, you know what I can do." He then took his hands of the wheel and began to open his door when he said, "I will show you." I pointed my gun at him and kept repeating myself for him to back his car up, don't come near me, and to let me out. He just starred at the gun for a few moments, his eyes just seemed in a daze. He finally backed up and drove off. I tried again to have help, and again I was denied because it could be my word against his. I can say successfully since that encounter in someone's driveway, he had not been around since. I have seen his car a few times, but it usually speeds off quite quickly. I'm very lucky that I'm still here, and that it did not get worse than it was.

I have delt with several stalkers. The worse I have had was when I worked for a local haunted house and was a character who wandered the park and took pictures. I thought I had befriended one of the security guards there which would be good incase I ever had a problem but he took it as more. He began telling his wife of how I would flash him and his buddies and I wouldnt wear the required clothing to make any costume child friendly. ( I wouldn't and honestly couldnt. By work rules the boobs, butt, and anything like that had to be secured to where the couldn't be shown. I also wore a corset that kept everything tight and down.) This made his wife want to kill me in order to save their marriage. I tried to tell him stay away from me but he then begane hounding me online and she did too leaving me messages. I reported them both and even told my boss who got him removed from my area. It took one incident where he tried to rape me for his company to finally see i wasn't just trying to get him removed.
As for his wife she kept trying to attack me but when it came out about her mental health being a big concern her own sister called the cops and cps on her. All the letters she had sent with the threats made the case against her.
All in all dont try and handle a stalker on your own. Tell someone tell several people if you have to. Trying to handle it on your own could get you hurt or killed. Stalkers will go into a mind set of that you are an item for them to own.

There was this site that I used to go on where people could rp and pvp all that stuff... I was crazy about it with my friends in school when one day on the game, some person sent me a private message about sexually raping me. Thinking that it was some kind of nut, I decided to block him but numerous people under the same name or similar to it would come back and harass me even further. Until the messages began to describe my exact appearance and traits. It was so horrifying that I completely stopped playing... But everyday from then on I would receive sticky pads on my locker saying the exact same things the stalker said on the game. Things like, "I miss you" or "we could've been together longer"

I spent most of my freshman year of college in my dorm room. The school I went to was really small because their undergrad program had just started. So everyone at the dorms knew each other and we would always hang out in large groups. My first few days I notices that some guy had started hanging out with my group more often and he would always stare at me and ask for my input on everything. This was uncomfortable for me because I was super shy and awkward. Then i started noticing him everywhere. In the main campus building between classes and he seemed to be in the cafeteria whenever I was there. He would try to be discrete about it and stare at me sideways like I couldn't see him (weird af) and would make it seem a coincidence that he happen to be there. People would approach me and tell me that he wanted me to know that he really liked me. At first I was surprised as I was super timid and antisocial in high school and never talked to guys really. Then when girls started coming to my dorm room persuading me to go talk to him, even though I had already rejected the offer, it got annoying. He then would then sit in the common area outside my room facing my window during the day and would be there at 3 or 4 a.m almost every night. Any time I had to go out he was there and he would just stare at me, no facial expression. He was pretty big everywhere and I'm 5'1 so he was intimidating. He then sent me a message on Facebook asking me to meet him up somewhere alone and telling me that he had some important thing to tell me "face to face". I told him that if it was so importat he should just msg it, so he then proceeded to tell me that I was like an angel to him, and he couldn't stop thinking about me. He said he didn't want to date me just wanted me to be his best friend, and that we could become close with time. It creeped tf out of me. I ignored him the rest of the semester and never went out alone. A mutual friend told me that he had cried and then was angry at me. I felt kinda bad but we had never even talked enough for him to be so attached, the most wet talked was that fb message. How can you like a stranget that much? The next semester, I changed dorm rooms and he changed his study spot to infront of my room again. He didn't talk to me again, but would stare me down when he saw me. I was genuinely afraid, I though he was gonna kidnap me. lol freakin creeper.

yeah no he was in love with the idea of you and not the real you, which i think makes it even scarier. if he selects you, not based on compatibility but some other arbitrary reason, and you actually went along with it, what wouldve happened when you disagreed with him or if he realized you werent compatible with him on something (which youd be prone to bc again, theres likely no compatibility, just obsession). literally best case scenario he internalizes any upset and doesnt confront you and hes just your sad yandere doormat. worst case, well, you heard the other stories in the video.
He's a socially awkward romantic stalker. erotomaniac stalker. He seems pretty socially awkward doing all of that stuff. He selects girls like that based on looks probably. They probably mistake every message on fb as romantic and think their dream is coming true. Seems when reality doesn't match their dreams they try to make it fit an try to control you and they become violent and use that to control you. They demand you be what they think you are and everything else. They dont like you they want to control you or are trying to control you.

I had a stalker, he constantly messaged me on facebook, saw me in town when I was out and always tried to kiss me etc. Never taking no as an answer. Never deleted him or blocked him on FB cause I didnt know if that would enrage him or not as he often 'joked' about abducting me and preforming sex acts on me. Eventually the police got involved and now he's got a partial restraining order, so hes not allowed to contact me through and social media, or telephone or even speak to me, but he is allowed in the same room as me. If thats broken then off to court he goes and he gets a full restraining order. Unnerving.

Guys like that guys usually want sex it seems like so if you dont then you shouldn't even be talking to them especially if they tried to kiss you once coz they'll do it every time and never stop at it. Guys like that you should stay away from. As a kid we didn't know to stay away from some people or something it seems like. She was talking to him after he tried that and she said no. And kept talking to him gong around him after he kept doing it. That shows that she is confused in thinking he's her friend or something. ACtually guys like that can be big trouble it seems like because they seem to always turn violent and it gets really really really bad always, too.
This is one of the things that frighten me about moving out of my parents home and into a home of my own, as well as being broken into. Thankfully none of this has happened whilst I've been living with my parents and I have gone for several days on my own in the house without anything of the sort happening. But I have no plans to move out any time soon with another year at college soon approaching and I'm still without a job. So hopefully none of the above will happen to me. God this is the one channel to get me paranoid. Thank you Rob I'm now going to be looking over my shoulder a bit more often now :)
Normally, I wouldn't really comment, but since Rob invited people to share their experiences, well...
I'm part of a fandom and I have a reasonable amount of popularity within it. I've got a number of awesome fans, and I don't mind most of them, even if some can be somewhat obsessive. However, there are always those who take it to a creepy level. I've found the best approach is to be direct to those people - "Hey, that thing you said makes me uncomfortable.", or something to the like. I find that most of these people don't really notice what they're doing, and don't mean to be stalkerish in the first place, which is why it's good to point it out to them; it has made quite a number of these situations much less creepy and awkward, and hopefully teaches them to remember to treat me - and others - like normal people, which we are.
Though it doesn't always work; some people don't take a hint, or care. I can confirm that I have at least one true stalker. They don't like me, actually - they're obsessed with helping me 'change my life' to the 'better' path they have in mind for me, thinking that my path in life is fully flawed. I've severed contact and ignore their advances - but I also keep quiet tabs on this individual to make sure I know what they're doing. (Fortunately, I've heard next to nothing from them in the last few months.) It's good not to give attention to a stalker, as it might encourage them to give up in what they're doing...but I think it is very unwise to fully ignore them, unless you can confirm that they're not bothering you or focusing on you anymore.
That's just all my two cents though. Hope it might be useful for somebody going through this stuff. :)

If I had to guess, half of the stalkers (or one part) are those guys who badger you to keep up, say, a roleplay for way too long or step over boundaries you don't want, and the other half are guys who are judging you and harassing you to get you into 'normal' stuff? I'll be first to admit that when you're part of a community with weird interests, it's easier to run into socially-awkward people who could potentially be stalkers, too. You're quite right about the role-play thing; there's too many people to count who simply wish to talk to me because they want to do some kinky RP, and don't care about me otherwise (and really, they only care about me for my character in the first place).
I've basically stopped doing the whole RP scene over the last few years because I prefer more meaningful conversations than those usually entail - but there are totally people who won't take no for an answer. There was one guy just recently who left me some RPish comments (in public, no less), groping my character without my consent, and then when I politely declined the advance, he pushed it further. This is all just in text of course, so it doesn't hold a candle to a REAL situation in which this happens, but all the same I felt extremely uncomfortable and stopped replying to anything he said.
Fortunately, blocking such people does usually fix the issue, though with the one real stalker case I have, blocking him seemed only to increase his resolve to 'get through to me'. Sometimes efforts against stalking can simply make the stalker relish the challenge, I notice. Sadly, the administration at the main site where this all transpired would not lift a finger to help beyond telling me to block this individual, so I was left to handling it as I could by myself.

And, sort of. Yes, the person has harassed me off of this main site, and of course the site has no jurisdiction over that. The individual broke numerous established harassment rules on the site, involving me and his treatment of some other people as well - he was always the sort to force his opinions on others. Despite numerous complaints, he has not even been warned by the site staff for his behavior, they simply allow him to behave however he wants. For years now, unfortunately.

And likewise, I very much like some of my personal characters, as well some other friends' characters too. But there's always a line that can be crossed, and...yes, people cross it a little too often sometimes, sadly.
A lot of people are saying that men are evil because of the fact that most stalkers are males. It's not true that men are evil, just a few. Calm down guys and look at it from a realistic point of view. Anyone can be stalked, anyone can stalk, it doesn't matter if they're male or female.

I can tell you tho that trying to get inside unannounced is one of the most creepiest things you can do..........and girls seem to do this the most (sorry woman but the way ya'll stalk is the most creepiest stalking i've ever seen in my entire life and i've been the target of one quite a few times).

When I was in middle school, my father was the principal of my school, I thought that was cool at the beginning, although I've never bragged about it in front of anyone, I preferred the students and teachers treat me like anyone else, but after a while I realized that most of the trouble I've been through was because I'm the principal's son!
There was this gay bully student that had a "gang" and always got involved in fights, there's a rumor that he raped a student once.
I knew he had his eyes set on me, because I was bullied by some of his friends, they never confronted me, only did pranks and sent me creepy messages, and I could some times see them staring at me from a distance.
Thank God my parents transferred me to a better school before things got worse (although I never told them about what was happening), it seems like they did that because my father was promoted and left the school, and he knew that a lot of students were going to hurt me to get back at him, since he was strict and kinda harsh, and the school was horrible anyway.

However this does not work for everyone one as not everyone is going to be good at fighting or have weak bullys like i did. My first “boyfriend” was a total creep. I was so desperate that I called him my boyfriend after he asked me out.
He was a weird kid and more desperate than me so he asked out loners at our school, and only few actually accepted but the relationships would only last a week.
I broke it off, and he began to text me so much, guilt tripping me and asking me why I’m always so angry when I politely asked him to stop, and he though he wasn’t doing anything wrong and that we were ‘friends’
I blocked him and told him to back off but he stalked me around the school and when I told him to stop he pretended he didn’t do anything so I threatened to tell the principal.
He blackmailed me but I didn’t let him control me and now he’s left me alone.

This is a story about how I was stalked by multiple African-American teenagers, my life just got...flipped you know? South Chicago was where I spent most of my time, I was literally just minding my business playing basketball with some buddies, and these guys who were obviously up to no good, starting making trouble with my friends. I got in a fight with these guys, but their numbers were no match for me and my buddies. We ran away and somehow my mother found out. She was worried and scared, so she sent me to live with my Aunt and Uncle in Rockford. I begged her not to force me to move there because I'd miss my friends, but she still packed my bags and sent me away. I was in First-Class, practically drinking Capri-Sun out of a champagne glass, and I thought this lifestyle might be alright. The plane landed and when I came out there was a guy who looked like a cop, but I wasn't trying to get arrested, so I bolted. I called for a cab, and darn was I surprised! It was clean and luxurious, very very fancy. I told him "I'm going to Rockford" and gave him a smile.

I'm a guy and I have a stalking story too. I had a gf for 3 years and the last year we were together a cute girl moved in next door to me and my gf got crazy jealous. So for a year straight she would come to my street and park in different places and in different cars at least 3 nights a week, and at this time she lived over 100 miles away from me for school. I should have broken up with her but I just couldn't do that to her. Eventually our relationship ended by her calling me over to her parents house one night and asked me to taker her for a drive. We drove around the local almond orchards jus talking like we had done a million times, and out of no where she tells me to stop the car so she can get out. It's midnight on a dark country road so I didn't want her to just get out. I told her Id take her back home and she yelled and tried to jump out of car, so I slammed on the breaks and she got out and started running to a spot where there was a backpack. Then a car came out of no where and picked her up. The next day the police came to my house and arrested me for attempted murder and kidnapping. I spent a week in jail until in the court, she and her lawyer daddy dropped all charges and filed for a restraining order against me. So, lesson is...guys chicks can be insane and if you need to get a restraining order on her, don't hesitate to do so!

Thank you. I am in a situation with this guy I dated and we didn't work out. That was in May. Its now December!! He wont leave my friends or me alone. I have trespassing orders on his mom and him. I have a no contact order but he does under fake names. Its very scary and I feel like Im not in control and guilty but this video helped cuz the first two women looked almost exactly like me and not a good sign in my book but Im not a victim, Thank you again for giving me the strength to stop this. Pray for me. For anyone else reading this in a situation that u feel u have no one. U do. Get away immediately, never go to the door and don't respond. I called the police and all they did was file a no trespassing, even though I showed the texts, I'm supposed to have a no contact order but the police officer couldn't find it.. and the fact that this time, they tried to put their foot in my door and shove it in but I managed to push the door closed and lock it and run for my phone and shotgun with no incident just them trying to kick my door in and screaming at what they will do when they get in.. I then crawled from room to room trying to see whee they were until I heard the police and my Mom. I don't want to shoot them but I am a single mom with a beautiful 10 year old lil girl and it's my job to protect us both. Thank u all so much and please continue praying for me

So many people are telling stories about being stalked, but from what I'm reading, it's always the victim, so perhaps my story might be a little different . . . the following story is entirely true. I know, because I was in it.
When I was in high school, right out of nowhere, I had a crush on this girl from my philosophy class, basically after I lost interest in my first crush in what I recognize now as kind of a "rebound" I fell for this girl. We talked once in a while, but not often, and in retrospect I didn't really know her at all, I was just craving that feeling that I'd lost from my first crush.
On the last day of school, I approached her and despite feeling terrified, I told her that I loved her - it felt like my last chance after all - and after going with some friends to the city with her, I gave her my phone number. She said it was sweet, but after making sure I was okay, since I looked overly emotional, she went to the bathroom and didn't come out, then some of our mutual friends were there.
I didn't feel comfortable with everyone else around and I think the gossip was spreading fast about what had just transpired, so since I felt vulnerable and didn't feel like I could do anything else, I left.
Afterwards, I received a phone call from one of her friends, a guy, who told me that she was basically saying 'No', and he was calling me with the number I'd given her. But he was an ex' of hers, and someone I'd never really respected, so after he hung up, I didn't really pay it much mind. I figured that if she wanted to say no, she would have. And even if she had thought that, I didn't think she had enough information, since I had never had the chance to show her what I could offer as a boyfriend. So, I decided to talk to her myself.
I knew her name, and some information from school which I used to find her phone using a simple online phonebook. I can't remember why I decided that a phone call was a bad idea. I assume it was because I'd had a bad experience with phone calls or perhaps I was in some way aware of how much more confronting a face-to-face talk is. I wanted to talk to her in person. So, I used a similar service to find out her address, this information is freely available to those who know how to use it.
I got on the train, and went to her house. Her mother answered, and I told her who I was, and that I was looking for her daughter. She went inside, and after a short moment, she came back. She said that her daughter was busy and didn't have time to see me. When I pressed and asked it I could come back another time, she said that it was a bad idea, since her daughter felt scared.
She said something else then, I don't remember what it was, but it sounded like classic "mom advice". But I wasn't listening then, I just felt ashamed, and that was when I nodded and left. It was only then that I realized exactly what I was doing. I was acting obsessed, selfish and callous to reason. This is a true story, but I realized that I had turned into the villain of it.
I had a hard time after that, coming to terms with having acted like such a monster, blind to the fear and insecurity I was making in someone that I "claimed" to care about. I quickly fell out of love with that girl, but I struggled with these tendencies for at least four more years. When I first started having actual dates that might have turned into actual girlfriends, they said they didn't want to stay together, because although these girls were interested in me and I was capable of being romantic, I was still much too clingy, obsessive and possessive. I had to do a lot of soul-searching when I realized that I was still falling back on these sick habits.
I've come to realize that these tendencies came from a deep-seated insecurity, lack of trust in your partner, fear of rejection, discomfort from that sense of vulnerability that comes with love & a desire to control that which cannot be controlled.
Right now, I actually have a girlfriend, a proper one, who loves me back. We've been a couple for three years, and it works because I actually trust her, and feel confident in us, it's a partnership.
But the important difference between me and some of the people in this video - as well as a sense of morality and critical thinking skills - is a sense of self-awareness. Admittedly, I didn't see it at first, but the instant I realized that my actions weren't going to make me, or my "victims" happy, I decided to fix it.
I was stalked once I was in the shop and the security guy was following me.... I was shot lifting but still it was creepy

I believe my neighbour is my stalker. He calls over at least twice everyday. I have started to say no & not open the door to him. He was helpful at first, bringing logs & sometimes food. But I had to tell him that I do not need or want his help. He is much older than me & he keeps saying very inappropriate things. He also doesn't listen to me when I say no. He insists on doing things, like cutting up logs out the back.He doesn't leave, I had to ask him to leave three times the last time he was in here. You know when someone just gives you the creeps? Everytime I go to the shops he is outside, looking at me & saying hello. There is no reason for me to go to the police tho because no laws have been broken. It is kinda sad that he has to do harm to me before I can report him :( I have now started to be rude to him. Flat out refuse to open the door & things like that so I hope he gets the message. yeah, that is true. We are kind of programmed to be afraid of people we don't like the look of when they could be perfectly nice people. My neighbour however, does not ever listen to what I say, when I say NO to his offers of drink and stuff, he just calls around again the next day with more wine or beer. I have told him about 15 times already that I do not drink but he still calls with wine. trying to get me drunk, I think. It is nice to be nice but I don't like when my refusal of stuff is not taken seriously. If he cannot accept a NO to drink, I dread to think what might happen if he tried something sexual on me. Thankfully he hasn't so far but he says some really inappropriate stuff that makes me feel very uncomfortable. It is also very hard to avoid him because I have to walk past his house to get to the shops or busstop & he always seems to come out when I pass by. It is just creepy. Nothing illegal has happened so I don't feel like I can even go to the police about him but I don't think I should have to wait until after he does something either. It is a sticky situation because it's all fear based & he could actually just be a lonely old man, like my friend thinks he is. I'm in my 30's and he is over 70 so it creeps me out if he is into me. It is just kind of grosse!! I asked my landlord about him & he just told me to keep away from him. He has been in trouble before, is all he would tell me. That also didn't help me feel good about him. I have told him that I know mixed martial arts & I am not afraid to kick the shit out of anyone & that I know some moves from my ultimate fighter friend so I hope that will be enough to turn him off. Time will tell, I guess.

I was being stalked in 2013's summer and it actually got to the point of my stalker, who I later found to be one of my sisters ex boyfriends, to sleep outside of my familes house. I finally became aware of his stalking behaviour when my girlfriend and I were walking down the street and she saw him follow us around every turn. Later that week he confronted me outside of my highschool while I was waiting with my girlfriend for a ride. He began to talk to us (remember at that point I still didn't know who my stalker was) and soon he began to talk about stuff that only my close friends and families knew. I asked him how he knew those details, and he pulled out a knife from his bag. He then tried to stab me in my heart. It was the most terrorfying event of my life. But thanks to my training in karate I managed to knock him unconscious with a punch to the tip of the jaw. I was stabbed in the fight in my right arm. And he suffered a broken collar bone and 3 broken ribs from me. While he was unconscious my girlfriend phoned the police. After he was arrested by the police and questioned, I was told who he was and that he often slept outside my house. He was sentenced 20 years in prison for attempted murder. If it was not for my study of martial arts I would not be alive today.

I had a stalker in middle school. He was in Special Needs and Anger Management in an upper middle class school (i was the poorest kid there). I stopped him from being picked on, so he sort of fell in love with me. I felt bad, so i stayed nice, but still tried hard to tell him i wasn't interested. I really had to get things settled when he went as far as to carve my full name into his leg, then had a freak out when he realized he misspelled my middle name. In the end i went to the high school that was closer to me(it was a poor area, so my mom tried to send me to a better spot, but it was to much money), and he went to his high school, never saw him again.
I am currently 14 and I was stalked when I was 11, my 2 younger sisters (9 and 5 at the time) and I were followed home from school school by a blue car and a dark man in a sports uniform, we told our parents who just said it was a scary coincidence but prompted us to stay in doors, me being the inquisitive little kid I was I stayed by the window and saw the car drive slowly up and down the hill but thought nothing of it... The next morning the 3 of us walked to school as usual and the blue car was still following us, the walk to school was not far but we still hurried to the main road. We told our prinicupal everything who took note and called the police who were then told to stay on alert around the school... We were driven home that afternoon and never saw the car again... The following year my two siblings stayed in primary and I moved onto high school, before school the morning news came on of an exact description of a man who had molested a young girl who went to our school.... He was arrested of course but I cannot tell you how relieved I am that it wasn't my sisters and I who were the victims! So that's my story... I hope it never happens to me or my family again... When I was in middle school, there was this boy only a year or so older than me at the time that followed my sister and I home literally every day and sometimes followed me around school. He'd flirt with us and touch us and just generally make us uncomfortable, and no matter how much we tried to deter him, he wouldn't leave us alone. I'm pretty sure I've been stalked. My first semester of college there was a guy in my algebra class. He would always try to talk to me and ask for my phone number. I of course was creeped out that I try moving seats the next class time. He would still sit in front or behind me. What freaked me out the most is that I would see him around my campus and he smirk at me.. I saw him at the library, student center, math building, computer labs..too much of a coincidence. I even saw him once outside of school at some restaurant and he said "hey". This happened almost 2 years ago I don't think I have seen him since then but it was really freaky.

When I was younger I had a stalker for several years....sending strange typed letters describing places I had been, what I was wearing, down to things I had bought from various store. Also, every letter or card was a picture of his telescope in wooded areas, and scary bible verses. My husband at the time tried to involve the police, but in those days they said unless he physically made contact or attacked me there was nothing they could do.
Fortunately I moved hours away and I haven't heard from him again. But, to this day I have a hard time being as friendly as I always had been... and being raised in the South you are taught strict manners at an early age. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful he never hurt me physically, but I hate the fact that he somewhat changed my personality and view of strangers.
it was the worst experience of my life. A guy who I have been with for a one night stand down where i went to college began following me around to and from work as well as online. He would at first leave love notes at my apt. followed by death threats. I ended up getting drugged and raped by him. I was too scarred to make a police report based on the fact I was gay and I lived in Alabama but it took a long time to recover from that moment. This is the first time I have ever said anything about that night.

This hits close to home for me because when I was younger and being slightly autistic, I didn't know how to talk to girls or boys so I sent them love letters. They took it as me "stalking" them and got law enforcement and my high school involved. One person almost pressed charges. Just for innocently sending them love letters. I admit it probably wasn't the best thing I've done but I was too shy to approach them. What stinks is, when I finally got the hang of talk to people they already labeled me a psychopath for just expressing my feelings. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome did the school and law enforcement understood why I did what I did. I never threatened these people, never said any creepy sexual desires, just honestly told them how beautiful they were and asked them out. I never followed them, knew where they lived, or even wanted to. So to everybody out there, the next time you use the walk "stalk", make sure the person is actually FOLLOWING YOU everywhere before dropping a powerful word like that. That could've been a innocent Autistic person trying to express their feelings. Express digression.
It's terrible that they called you a stalker. Love letters are perhaps not the best idea in getting people to go on dates with you, but I still think it was very sweet of you to do so nonetheless. :P

I, unfortunately, had to deal with a stalker last year... I was a sophomore in high school (I had just turned 16) and my friend had introduced me to this girl, a freshman who was 2 years younger than me (age 14), it started as just a harmless friendship, but she started showing this attraction to me (casual hugs and crap like that), and eventually she decided to ask me out, naturally I said no, because of the age difference (just felt a little weird to me), after that she became aggressive and relentless, finding me on various social media sites without even knowing my last name and tricking my friend into giving her my number... I would get calls at 2 am, creepy Facebook messages, twitter spam, and she even threatened to kill herself or me to "prove how much she loved me"... I showed my friend everything and he showed me what she had sent him which was pretty much the same as what I got, so I got the school involved, because she was waiting for me after classes, and eventually got police involved, because of the increasing amount of suicide/death threats I received, so she ended up in therapy and I haven't heard from her since... If you are experiencing something similar, be sure to save everything and involve the proper authorities.

I've been stalked by a boy that had a crush on me back in middle school. my advice for anyone it may apply to: if someone says they'll kill themself if you don't go out with them, never ever feel like its your responsibility to keep them alive by dating them. tell someone, especially a parent or a teacher. most of the time they would never ever do that anyway, they're just manipulating you. and even if the worst scenario happens and they do harm themself to guilt you, please be aware that it was not. your. fault. you are a good person and can not control the actions of others. stay safe and take care of yourselves.
I had a situation in high school with a guy would wouldn't take no for an answer. He had a MySpace page dedicated to me with like a million icons. He'd also steal pictures of me and make out with them in front of people. He'd also show up at my house at night unannouced. The list goes on. He was training to be a Navy Seal at the time. I was dating someone else, but it wasn't serious and I liked that. However, my mom was trying to get me "married off" and was encouraging me to dump my bf and go out with my stalker instead. My entire high school class was telling me to stay away from this guy. The only two people who wanted me to date him were two people I was living with; my brother and mother. It was really scary because they even tried to get me in a car alone with him! I had to call my friend and embarass my mom (who was a high school teacher at my school) in order to ensure I wouldn't get put in the car. I even was talking to a cop at my karate school about getting a restraining order without having my parents sign off, which of course pissed of my mom. My mom has since apologized for her insane thinking and I stopped talking to my brother completely. It sucks because my mom always claimed that she kept me "safe" but the only person who ever really did protect me in my family was myself. Martial Arts training was vital in my survival in my younger years.
Athen239 Pretty much I was talking to cops without telling my family, gathering evidence, and leaving information with my friends so that if I disapeared they could tip the police. I stayed out of the house as much as possible too. Eventually he left, ended up in the Navy instead of the Navy Seals due to a medical issue and that was that. If your family isn't doing right by you, you owe no loyality to them. It's your safety and don't be scared to contact outside resources for help, even if it means pissing off family members who are too stupid to see you're in danger.
I was stalked off and on for about 12 years. The "man" finally moved to Canada, and you would think that he would then finally leave me alone, but he found my number on my Facebook page and called me. I was able to block him, and, thankfully he hasn't called me since, and hopefully never will. His family told me that he's currently in California. Bastard. He can STAY THERE for all I care.

I was stalked once. I didn't notice it at first, but I used to see this guy around a lot. He always wore the same tracksuit, hood up smoking a cigarette or just having his hands in his pockets and he'd just always be where I was, hanging around like he was waiting for someone, sometimes on a phone. Originally I thought nothing of it as I don't live in a huge area so seeing someone more than once is quite common, but what made him stick out was the fact he was always either constantly glancing over in my direction or he would slowly get closer, but he'd never approach as I barely go out alone and most of these times I was with the lady I am a carer for.
Then one night I was coming home from my friends birthday, it was dark as it was about 8pm. I got off the bus and as I went up the bridge that I have to walk over to get home I saw him there, looking in another direction and checking his watch like he was waiting for someone. He glanced at me as I walked past and then started following me.
Now I am a very paranoid person and do not like it when someone is walking behind me so closely, if someone is walking behind me I either slow down to let them pass me or do a sudden quick turn as if I am going the wrong way so that I can get a good look at them. For him, I slowed down as I could see him in the corner of my eye, he wasn't directly behind me and I wouldn't of gotten a decent look as the lights on this bridge are really shit. As I did, he started walking past me and as he did walk past, I got a good look at him in the street light that I had purposely stopped under. He glared at me as he walked past and said "Why are you stopping?", before mumbling and continuing on. As he did, I grabbed my phone in my bag and pretended to answer a text message.
This bridge isn't long, but there is a dark spot on it where it crosses over the train tracks below. There isn't a streetlight there so it is pitch black until you get to the next light which is the one at the end of the bridge, nine times out of ten this one is broken and tonight was no exception. As he reached the dark spot, he stopped. He was in a light grey tracksuit so I could see him clearly, he just loitered at the opening of the dark spot, first pretending to be adjusting his shoes or stretching against the bridge wall, then he just leant against the wall and acted like he was waiting for someone like he was initially when I had come onto the bridge, all the while he kept glancing back at me to see if I had started walking again.
I'm not stupid and have dealt with being mugged before, so I know better than to walk past someone acting suspiciously. I watched what he was doing before taking a couple of steps back and heading back off the bridge. He noticed and started following me back to the bus stop but this time he was quite a way away as he'd walked quite far in front of me, all the while shouting things at me like "Now where are you going?" "Just go home" "I'm not going to hurt you". As I got off the bridge I went to the first street I could see with a road sign and called the police whilst heading there. When he heard me say "Police please" on my phone he shouted insults at me before stopping his following. He just stood there shouting at me as I reported him, so I could give them a very accurate description since he was literally just standing there, hood down under a light.
The police lady kept me on the phone and a police car arrived about a minute later. When he saw the flashing lights he ran back for the bridge but they caught him before he made it there. He continued to shout insults at me as he was put into the police car that had just turned up and I stayed with a copper until another arrived which took me home.
After telling the police about everything they suspected that he either did have plans for me that night, or he was going to follow me home to see where I lived in order to possibly plan something later. Last thing I heard from the police was that he admitted that he did have intentions to harm me "and more" and I have never seen him since, though I will never cross that bridge after dark alone again. Not until they fix those stupid street lights.

One of my ex's of almost 2 years used to stalk me after i left him for being controlling and crazy. He even beat up a boy i started dating a month after i left him, so that boy broke up with me.
One time, the stalking ex thought it was a good idea to grab ahold of me and try to force me to stay in a room with him. He got a mouth full of my fist. I've heard hes alot nicer to his new g/f's now lol
I had a creepy stalker in college once. She followed me to class, sent me nasty, sexual e-mails, then started to spread rumors, and then she started following me to my campus job, where one night she left her nasty, dirty underwear on my car and keyed it as well. Thanks to having DNA evidence, and calling the police ASAP, I was able to press charges and get a restraining order... but it was VERY unsettling.
PLEASE - Go to the police IMMEDIATELY if you think you have a stalker, report all instances of what they do, either to the police, or write down incidents with dates and times. Whatever you do - eliminate all contact COMPLETELY - don't even acknowledge your stalker. The police told me that when you do that, it makes them feel like they can win.
Most importantly - call anyone if you ever feel in danger or that your peace is being compromised by another person, and they will not go away. Best of luck, stay strong, and know that you are loved. Never ever not tell your friends or family what is going on, it could save you!!
i am currently being stalked, its been going on now for about eight months. it all started when a boy in my school began to take an interest in me. he would sit across the room from me and just stare. it felt weird and wrong but i didn't think anything of it. that went on for a while until one day he followed me out of class. i tried to walk fast to get away from him, but he was faster he grabbed me by the shoulder and spun me around. he was holding a piece of paper with a strange symbol on it. he asked me if i knew what it was. in fear and confusion i said yes. his eyes widened, and he said "good". he turned and walked away. i got into my car and began to drive away, i looked up and he was staring out the window at me. again i thought nothing of it. later that month i went to a party with one of my friends. he was there. he sat down at the table across from me and handed me a drink. i took it but didn't drink it, as there was white powder floating near the bottom. he took notice that i didn't drink it and got angry. he clutched his cup so tight that it broke in his hand sending shards of glass and alcohol everywhere. i promptly left. the next day i slept on the living room couch. our home has large windows pointing toward the street, i finally settled down on the couch at around 2:55 am. i noticed a light flickering between two of our bushes. i thought it was the reflection of headlights so i ignored it. i closed my eyes and waited for the car that caused them. nothing came. i opened my eyes, and the light was still there, flashing on and off. i stared at it eyes wide, i soon realized this was no headlight, it was a flashlight. i stared for three hours the dark shadow of a person and the beat of the blinking light continued. the person was back lit and perfectly outlined. he would stand and sit, ant one point he lied down obviously struggling to stay still. 5 am rolled up and he finally just walked away. i was creeped. very creeped. i made a point to lock the doors, and windows after that night.a while after that maybe a month and a half, i went out onto my porch to smoke a cigarette. it was almost 3.30 am. i put on my lipgloss so the cig wouldn't burn my lips, just like i always do. i finished and flicked the butt into the bushes. the next day i waited in the lot for my grandma to come pick me up and take me to class. i looked over at the arch over our walkway. there was a dead dove, hanging off the arch by some kind of internal vein or tendon. the head was pulled off and hanging to the side. the rest of the creature was unharmed. i went over to look closer. by cigarette butt was stuffed in the neck hole. with my pink lipgloss stained on the tip. i lost it. i freaked out. i cried. and then i got over it. time passed, another month or two. i sat out in the yard next to the street, reading like i always do. i noticed a van with tinted windows pass by me more than a few times. i remembered the horror that ensued a few months back and i quickly went inside. i watched out of the living rooms large window. the van drove by once more and quickly stopped. a man got out, and to my horror and shock it was him. the guy from the party. he climbed out and left a paper on the bench, he then sped away. carefully, with a kitchen knife in hand i retrieved the note. i braught it inside and locked the door behind me. i opened the thing with trembling hands. the note was scribbled, almost not legible, with English letters but not English words. i typed the words into google translate. it was Latin, and it read as follows.
"hello my love. did you get my little gift, i hung it where i knew you would see it. i want you to know that i love you. and that is why you have to die. that is why im going to kill you soon. don't worry ill make it fast. we can be together forever you know? consider my offer darling. there is no deeper love than what i feel for you. "
before i could even think vomit filled my mouth. i dropped the note and ran to the bathroom. i called the police and they were there within a matter of minutes. they said and i quote "there is not much we can do at this point. your vomit makes the note un legible. so we cannot say any threat has been made." i set cameras up to catch this motherfucker in action. i got a handgun, and deadbolt locks for my doors. another month passed with nothing going on. i could finally relax. i returned to reading by the street, i wasn't going to abandon my routine because of this guy. the day after i began doing that again i awoke like normal. i went to open my blackout curtains. and what i saw sent me flying across the room. off my bed backwards and onto the floor. there hung a "sculpture" made of sticks and some type of animal entrails. the thing resembled the face of what i can only describe as Satan. it took up my whole window. witch was not at all small. i sat in the corner of my room rocking back and forth for what seemed like an eternity until my mom got home. she opened the door and only saw me. she rushed to my side. she asked what was wrong shaking me by my shoulders. i pointed to the window with a trembling finger. i could not speak. she looked over and reacted the same way i did. a blood curdling scream, and i lunge backwards. she dragged me to the police station. we filed a report and came home to clean up the bloody mess. when we went outside we could see the entire "piece". the thing was grotesque. i could now see the guts were that of one of out pet rabbits. on the bottom hung a note. "well my darling. i can see you have not considered my offer. oh well. i wanted to make things easy. but you insist on playing hard to kill." i went unconscious. i awoke a couple seconds later with my mom dragging me into the house and locking the door behind us. i told my then best friend and she insisted we do some investigation of our own. we went back into the woods that were in our property. finally we got to the old cabin. and there in the side was his name carved in with what looked like a huge blade. he had been here... inside i found a horror beyond recognition. a pentagram on the floor in salt. three black candles on each point. and a dead cat gutted and nails through its paws sprawled out in the middle. once again i vomit. we run back to my home. that was a week ago. this nightmare continues. every day i find another note.

This is a minor one, but one of my schoolmates had a weird crush on me, in that he would would try to follow behind me at school, or just stare stare at me for long periods of time, or just make up any excuse to just come close to me. eg. Talk to someone who I'm standing next too.
There was one really creepy incident where he followed me on my way home from school. First time, he caught right next to me on my walk (I walk rather slow). Luckily, there was a route where I could take a detour and I ran. He didn't continue following me after that.
Some time later (Don't remember how long) I saw him following after me again, and I just ran through the nearest short cut back home.
The sad part is, that he is actually a nice guy. He has autism so he was rather shy, and didn't want to talk about his feelings towards me.
I'm also rather guilty of being a jerk, as I yelled at him several times for his behavior knowing full well about his autism.
Yes, I did tell the teachers, but they did little to stop it. They just said "But that is how he is".

I also have autism but I show very little sighs and most ppl ( maybe 95% ) think im nomal. What he is showing doesn't necessarily mean that its his autism as that is average behavior in stalkers.

The thing about autism is that before I was diagnosed (and even sometimes after) I didn't know that some of the things I was doing was considered wrong or weird. I did get feedback for it, though, and as I've grown older it's become less frequent that I get told that maybe I was hanging around someone for too long or maybe I said something that was considered rude or passive-aggressive. I've naturally become more knowledgeable and aware of what I should do and how I should act in any given situation, but I also think it depends on the severity of the diagnosis itself.
If he has short and curly black hair, a small mustache, and blue eyes, then you have had the exact same experience as me. Only, he said he he loved me, and I politely told him I didn't feel the same. And he couldn't follow me home; I rode in a car. But, he would try and follow me all over the place and never left me alone.
The teachers said that it was his autistic behavior, and I should be more considerate. Funny thing is, I do too. What's funnier, is that that was not normal autistic behavior. That is normal stalker behavior.
