He apparently froze to death. Whats interesting is that while Kansas was chilly that time of year, you would still see people walk around in shorts.
yeah i know its 5 years later but, as a kansan, that just sounds like regular old lawrence. it's a college town full of dumb college kids. so really that's not the most shocking thing. lawrence has the granada theater though, so i can't hate on it too much. this state is also full of people who wear shorts in freezing weather, so if you were trying to be conspiratorial with that last line, it didn't work. it's the midwest. we're all nuts.
