So hard to choose! I think The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides because of that twist. And Wrong Place, Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister because it was so unique. (Loved Just Another Missing Person, too.) For political thrillers/espionage, I loved The Elias Network by Simon Gervais. This one is the first of a series and I'm sad I have to wait until July for book 2.
Another fabulous video! I've read several of these stunners but there are some new to me, too. Can't wait to read The Wife Between Us especially! Thank you so much. ❤
Hi Amy. Thanks for the great recommendations. Have you read Listen for the Lie? I listened to it on audio, which was recommended and I do agree, it was a great audiobook but either way the story is good. I just finished that. So many good thrillers. 🤯 Happy Reading! ~Mary
Can't wait to see your takes! I have The Breakdown and Beautiful Ugly on hold at my library based on your recs. I read The Wife Between Us and loved it a few years back. I loved Nine Lives but the ending wasn't my fave. Some of my faves: What Lies Between Us - Marrs Run Away - Coben Mystic River - Lehane People Like Her - Ellery Lloyd Lock Every Door - Sager The Silent Patient - Alex M Rock Paper Scissors - Feeney Literally anything by David Ellis, including the ones he did with Patterson (I'm not a JP fan usually)
@@Neil-writer-authorMystic River has stayed with me longer than any book I've ever read. Compulsively readable, heart wrenching, a master class in character development. Perfection.
Thank you! I've never heard of Sandie Jones before, but I requested their first book from my library. Also recently read the Night Shift by Alex Finlay based on your rec... and now I've also read Every Last Fear and am almost done with What Have We Done - HIGHLY recommend What Have We Done. I plan to read their latest book next!
I hope you enjoy Sandie Jones! Yay! I'm so glad you are enjoying Alex Finlay - I have What Have We Done on hold at my library right now!!! Just waiting for it 💙
The Wife Between Us is fabulous. The twist was totally unpredictable. It's the first book by those coauthors. Hendricks was Pekkanen's agent and they decided to write together. Their others are also very good and twisty. They haven't written any together recently. Thank you for doing these videos, Amy! I've read many of the books you mentioned. The rest are being added to my immense TBR
Thanks for the video! I really liked the Night Shift but did have a good idea who did it. The ending was still insane! I hope to read Christmas Presents this year.
I couldn't think of my favorite off hand but I did read more than 1/2 of these books and enjoyed them. I always thought I was more of a mystery reader not a thriller reader (I haven't read horror in a long time.)🤔?. ❄📚❄
What is your favorite thriller ever? 😲😲😲

My favorites of all time are Mystic River by Dennis Lehane, The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson, and Lying in Wait by Liz Nugent.
@@lindsayweathering The Kind Worth Killing was the best!

So many great books. I love Hendricks and Pekkanen. An Anonymous Girl was my favorite book by them. Although, you can't go wrong with any of them!

I haven't read any of these books but I do want to try more thrillers! 😊
I hope you enjoy some of these! 💜
❤. That’s hard to say a favorite thriller, because I love so many. If I were to try, probably have to say Gone Girl. Great list and video! Thank you!
Gone Girl is amazing! Great pick 💙 Thank you!
Thank you for video!
Thank you for watching! 💙
I enjoyed The Wives by Tarryn Fisher.
Also My first Mistake by Sandie Jones. Neither were 5 stars but twisty for sure!
I loved My First Mistake by Sandie Jones! Not a 5 star for me either, but a really fun read 💙

Gone Baby Gone by Dennis Lehane
I'll look into it! Thank you 💜
Which to read first??!!
The toughest question! 💙
A good list!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
So many good book recs? I own some of these and wonder why I haven’t picked them up yet. I love Shari Lapena books. She is one of my faves.
