Sis, my wife has an OCI card now.
Can now she can use her philipine passport? Means, she can have Dual citizenship?
Hello brother! She should still use her Philippine passport. She can only use OCI card in India but not anywhere else. And they don’t consider OCI card as dual citizenship. It’s something more like a PR. God bless you both! 🇮🇳❤️🇵🇭 stay healthy!

Hello The Kumar’s Online! 😊 few days after filling up the form, nagpunta ako sa embassy para ipasa ang mga requirements at bayaran ang fees. And 2 months later nakuha ko na ang decision. Sorry sa late reply at maraming salamat din. 😘

Pwede sis as long as may valid visa ka kung sang country ka nag-istay. For example working visa, study visa, temporary residence or citizenship. If tourist visa lang ang hawak mo then hindi nila i-entertain ang application mo. Goodluck sissy! ❤️❤️

Hello sis! 👋🏼 I think you are eligible to apply sis. Hindi naman kasali sa requirements na mag stay sa India. Sa case ko nagstay lang ako sa india for 1 year plus. Then nagmove din kami sa Poland. Pero kasali sa requirements ang current visa na hawak mo for India. Meron ka bang visa ngayon for India?

Hi sis, I got already my oci.tnx for some info you provided.I have question sis again, sa OCI card nakalagay don ay ang occupation ko ay teacher, as of now Im teacher but soon i will resign on nov.required ba na papalitan ko ung occupation from teacher to housewife?Pupunta ako kasi sa india on dec baka tanong why i did not change occupation.Baka itanong nila sa immigration in pinas and india.

@@thekumarsonline2038 I'm so sorry to, now so Lang Nakita message here, I applied OCI May 26, 2019 then I got first week of August.But the counter said I would get 3 to 5 months or more.

My wife is a filipina and applying for OCI. When she applied online -- the final pdf application form to be submitted in Embassy India, Manila does not show her middle name but only showing her given name and surname. Is it like that? I saw also your application form in your youtube video your middle name not written.I just also want to ask since you got already your OCI card, does your name written there has middle name?or only Given and Surname?kindly reply..thank you
Thank you so much for watching. 😊 yes that’s true. There will be no middle name shown in your wife’s online application even in the OCI card. It’s only going to be her Surname and Given name. Good luck with your application. I hope your wife gets her OCI card soon. ❤️❤️

@@crazyhunk7346 Mam, you applied for OCI in Poland, but why did you upload Indian visa in the document section of the OCI application? My wife traveled to India in 2017, does she need to upload her Indian VISA in OCI application? Kindly reply.
Hello Competitors Point! 👋🏼 I sent email to the Consulate of Indian Embassy in Warsaw, and I asked what are the requirements for Philippine National before I did my application coz on their website the requirements listed are for Polish National. And this is their reply:
It will be possible, we require originals and copies of your passport, visa, your spouse’s Indian passport, marriage certificate (marriage must be valid for at least two years), as well as 3 photographs, online application filled and printed, affidavit signed by your spouse (attached in this message). The fee of 938PLN is only accepted in cash.
If you have hesitations/queries you can send email to the Indian Embassy in your country. I can see that the Indian Embassy website in Manila is a little bit complicated. You can just attach it as a supporting document. Cause mine was also already expired when I applied for OCI Card.

@@FayesDiary Thanks a lot mam. Well, we visited the Indian Embassy yesterday, but forgot to ask about Visa thing. Anyway, they said, everything is fine in the application, however, we need to upload Indian passport in the relationship certificate option. Beside, my wife's passport needs to have her signature in the first page, which was not there. They also said that we can apply a fresh application again instead of editing the present one. We will go to the embassy next Friday. Hopefully, everything would be fine from both sides :)
