I was born in the best time in the history of mankind. Insouciance, innocence, the best music ( not only the disco music but the Eagles, CCR, Fleetwood Mack and so many more) and the whole system ( discotheque) to enjoy the whole things. I am 64 years old but it was all worth it just to be young then, for that reason I accept to be that old it allow me to live this fantastic era.
God I miss these days so much time has flown by so fast makes me so sad 😞 the best days ever!!! The generation of today will never know or appreciate this kind of beautiful music 🎶
I met so many women, but my heart was Janet Baez. Alsoy dance partner. Not lovers but this suite by Carol Douglas was and always be my only true song of the 70's. Will never forget those days.
Danced to this all night long in the Red Parrot in Manhattan on 57th Street when it first came out in 78/79 and then in 2008, I went to Finland. We were at a club and this came on. I was amazed that my partner picked up the hustle so quickly and everyone watched us dance across the floor. The DJ mixed this for at least 20 minutes if not longer. such an unforgettable experience
2021 that mean this tune is 45 years old and people still come back to listen to the full album .As a previous club dj in the 70 and 80 i could not explain the feeling of watching people dance to this beautiful.song. nothing gave me more pride than to see the power of the turntables i was like Rockstar in my booth enjoying all these beautiful people dancing and and enjoying the night away under the disco lights and all the other great privileges' that came with the job .for all that are here i hope you enjoy it cause it isn't coming back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soothes my soul by making me think of partying all night at a disco in the 70's, then going home with a special someone and neither of us wanting to get out of bed the next day except to dance when night arrives again, lol! Cool as it gets.
At its best, Disco was an incredibly rich, diverse dance genre featuring superb musicianship that came to an end more for its total and continuing dominance than anything else. It continues to this day to exert massive influence on dance music culture. This is a great example of the lush orchestration and arrangements that hypnotised a entire generation.
Took me way back now 59 Thank God remembering my cousins teacher us to hustle and my brothers. New York Express Robert Micheal pagan. Long Island NY City
This was and still is my favorite disco album. The best times of my youth. Life was so different back then. Disco that’s where the happy people go!❤❤❤❤
Beautiful Times indeed. I've got a lump in my throat thinking about those years and the amazing time I had. My teenage years were in the 70s Turned 21 in 1980. So grateful to have been alive and able to have enjoyed that era. Wonderful Memories. Blessings to All... 💃🕺
Now this was music. This brings nothing but great moments in my life. I was a young teenager chasing young girls to this music..I'm proud I lived this era.
Who could dislike this classic recording. One of the best dance songs ever and in 1974 very much ahead of it's time. Thanks for posting the entire a side.
The Disco Days were the best ever. No guns or violence in the discos, just beautiful lights, music and an intoxicating atmosphere where everyone of all colors danced together. My friends and I would dance for hours. As soon as we left the floor, another good song would come on and we'd rush back. One drink lasted hours, because all you could do was sip it between amazing songs. No wonder I weighed 40 pounds less than now! If you told me I could be 21 again to give it all up, I'd say, "No!" You can have your 21 and I'll keep my memories of wonderful, unique times!
Pure disco of my high school and college years.. OMG..who recognizes this was the best music ever? This was a genre that Black artists and our white artists loved!!
Carol Douglas' most magical "suite."1976. When music was highly romantic, tender, sensuous and sweet...you could look across the floor, catch someone's eyes and become infatuated instantly. And aside from Cerrone's Love In C Minor, one of the longest full-side records (the early days of one song that lasted for 17 minutes!) Those were beautiful times.
It's June 2019... I was really blessed to enjoy these precious days when music had life and emotion... I'm 62 now and would love to re live these days... Time has passed by so fast.... But now and then, I go back to these wonderful songs.. And daydream of the fun times and was in the Navy back then... Blessings to all... Amen❤
Grateful to you for uploading the whole suite. Thanks to TH-cam and people like you, I can reminisce on those amazing days of so long ago. Fantastic Era.. Thank you 🙏🏼
I love reading the comments to this song, it truly is a disco classic! Music and life in the 70’s were incredible, thankfully we still have this beautiful music on TH-cam to relive whenever we want. Carol Douglas is a class act!
I was 22 years old. Since then, it's been with me. I still remember dancing in Harajuku & Shinjuku Tokyo, recalling all my male friends. We were lucky and blessed that we are still here
These were the best of times. I danced to this lovely song at the Flying Saucer disco in San Juan. Hard to believe it’s been about 45 years since then.
Those were the good old times folks! When I hear this song, it seems like time has gone by so fast. Unfortunately, time it's something we can't control. Those of us who were able to live those "golden disco music" years, should feel blessed and very fortunate. Unforgettable years transformed into great and beautiful memories!!

And I was so lucky to be able to fulfill their wishes to dance the night away. Thank you to those women I was honored and privileged to dance with.

On these two routines, because I opened up my big trap, and chose the song, I was so exiected to perform. I was in a trance!!! People, disco is not dead. Back in my country I enjoyed this wonderful music along with donna summer, village people.gloria gaynor cher an many others what a wonderful times we lived then with no worries and no crime I used to walk the city streets at all hours of the night and it was really safe they should invent a time machine to go back and enjoy it again
I was born during the time of this music and I like it much more than my generations music. The strings, the funky guitar, the beat, the lyrics and the voices combined together were pure artistry. Will we ever reach a time where we see that again?
For real. I started DJing right at the beginning of the disco era. Now people are too busy multi tasking to stop and produce worthwhile material. Everyone is in a rush to push watered down garbage. Smh.
Beautiful music....lyrics that you can really enjoy...

... ... ...only 19:00 minute plus versions in this discoteche house, mixed with smooth deep trance; dallas fort worth arlington synchoponic disco forever; 106fm being remembered; beaming this through a 2,000 foot transmitter, in the far suburban reaches of the dallas metroplex! back into my lake highlands neighboorhood, in the city; 12am or 12pm/6am or 6pm in my discotech bedroom!!!, with my panisonic multicircut stero with turntable and high fidelity cassette double deck recording truely forever!, 1976~1980 for april 20.2020! ... ... ...

whoa ho ho! Just learning ballroom dancing. OMFG! Perfect for the Paso Doble, and Argentine Tango! WOW! My partner, statueusqe, legs that don't end... and as a gay man, and an EMT, I almost had to call a CODE on myself! Perfect song!!! Not to mention, I've alway's loved Carol Douglas. On these two routines, because I opened up my big trap, and chose the song, I was so exiected to perform. I was in a trance!!! People, disco is not dead. It has evolved into something even more beautiful. EMBRACE IT!
Great hustling music
Back in my country I enjoyed this wonderful music along with donna summer, village people.gloria gaynor cher an many others what a wonderful times we lived then with no worries and no crime I used to walk the city streets at all hours of the night and it was really safe they should invent a time machine to go back and enjoy it again
I remember when this 1st came out......(this is the song that addicted me to Disco).......I still have this album..
Carol, your song takes me back to the sweetest epoch in my life. What memories!
For those of you that didn't happened to appreciate these times, oh what you missed!! So much fun and everything was so carefree
I was born during the time of this music and I like it much more than my generations music. The strings, the funky guitar, the beat, the lyrics and the voices combined together were pure artistry. Will we ever reach a time where we see that again?
Yeah, screw rock nazis. Disco was excellent music.
For real. I started DJing right at the beginning of the disco era. Now people are too busy multi tasking to stop and produce worthwhile material. Everyone is in a rush to push watered down garbage. Smh.
That's just how I feel. Young people today truly missed a glorious time. We were lucky to have been young at the right time.
Yuri Ivanovich agree..I had a ball dancing the hustle..in the 70s..what great times..
Nothing like disco!!
This is one if my favorite songs and Miss Douglas, what a voice!!
