Old "Gorilla" pouch (originally for tiny camera?). It has a lot of room for new stuff,, which compared to my previous. What have in it? Well Victorinox, zip ties, first aid etc.
2:50 I don't blame you for not wanting to attach your keys to your wallet - that is a foolish thing to do. Most people have a driver's license or something else with their address in their wallet. If you lose your wallet with your key attached to it, whoever finds it is going to have your address and the key to your house.
An excellent point, it's similar to programming 'home' on your car's GPS and then getting pickpocketed, keys are far more dangerous when kept with information on where to use them.
Im still working on what I want to carry in my edc pouch. One thing I did do the pouch was cut of the original zipper pull and put a whistle on it. One thing I like in my pouch is a tiny ferro rod that came with my esee izula. Its maybe and inch long and weighs nothing. I carry a lighter and dont really need it but I like that its there.
Thanks for link to this little pouch. Looks interesting. I may get one for myself. I also enjoyed the presentation. A little bit of rambling does not bother me. Pleasant voice :D
Thanks for sharing. I was intrigued by the Klecker knife but cannot find an official website for them. It appears that they may have gone out of business and what remains in back stock at Amazon and various knife sellers is all that we will see. Any knowledge that you may have would be appreciated.
The designer, Glenn Klecker, does work for other companies, like CRKT. I think his knife company went out of business, he may still do collab work. Unfortunately back stock and the secondary market are likely going to be the only source for the foreseeable future.
I carry a larger Viperade zippered pouch for 2 pens & a Sharpie with some small zip ties on the outer front side. In the zippered pocket I carry a couple of Dude wipes, tiger balm, Chap stick, ear plugs, a few bandaids & a spare AAA for my small Olight. And I carry a Chums small pouch for a locker key, a few coins, a couple of 1/4" screwdriver bits, 2 toothpicks, a fresnel lens, and a line card from Grimworkshop. In the winter I carry a Wallet Ninja to scrape ice off windshields. I put duct tape on a spent gift card & just pocket it. Nice to organize.
That sounds like a nice kit! I also use a Viperade pouch for a much heavier carry that I'll likely make a video on. Mine is the one with a zip and then some organiser slots on the front, which do you have?
@@gearedforward I have recently acquired a Viperade VE2 or VE3 pouch. I believe it's too bulky with just a few things in it, being a medium sized Victorinox SAK, a Samsung S5, Bert's Bees chapstick and VE MONK earbuds :s
@@swat37 That's unfortunate! I wouldn't personally put a phone in an EDC pouch (too bulky and slow to access for my tastes) but i can see how that would get thick very easily!

If you get some “H” shaped plasters then you could have a lot more versatility when it comes to cuts. They work on external finger joints, internal finger joints and can still be used for flat areas too.
I could see myself using such a pouch to hold the components of a "boo-boo kit." Allergy medicine would be something I'd add to such a kit. The green Spartan is really sweet...and whose logo is on the Pioneer's engraving panel? Thanks for a little bit of inspiration!
It would be good for that kind of purpose, my dedicated booboo kit is a hard case one (a whopping $2 from Walmart!) that I customized, but at this I did just add some antihistamines to the back pouch of this kit too, great shout! I really like the green scales, I grabbed them off Etsy to Plus up a Spartan for the challenge on MTO, well worth it! That's the Schweizermesser shield, I grabbed it for a bargain from Jud on the sales section! Thanks for watching and commenting bud
I'm not sure how you'd get this particular pouch, but I think the Chums Surf Wallet is sold in some stores and is fairly similar in layout to this one.

EDC stands for Everyday Carry and means the things you carry with you in your day-to-day life to help navigate the situations you find yourself in. Most people have a minimum EDC of their phone, wallet, and keys. However, it's a whole hobby unto itself, that covers other things people carry, commonly including pocket knives, pens, flashlights, and watches. For people that are into the hobby of EDC, we often look for new pieces of gear to carry and add to our collections. I hope that helps!
Thanks! I think that would be a valuable addition, it doesn't fit my personal circumstance as I carry some cash in my wallet and under my phone case instead.
You could have done the video with all the contents under 1 minute. Keep it to a minimum as you stated you're a minimalist. 18 minutes it's a tad long with missing items like $, chapstick, USB drive...
Thanks for commenting! Shorts are definitely an entertaining form of content, just not the kind I chose to make here. I appreciate adding those items, but: - With cash in my wallet and phone case, adding more here is a redundancy I can't personally afford. - I don't use chapstick enough to warrant carrying it all the time - I work from home, when I do go out I have no need for a USB unless it's a specific, foreseen case.
The only thing more infuriating than a lack of pockets is the false promise of faux pockets! Of course, it gives a very valid reason for those affected to gorge their carries on various kinds of bags and pouches, which is a silver lining I can support with financially reckless vigor.

Neat I've been using a chums wallet as both a wallet and an edc pouch.
