A weak poor country that had it's right to have nukes taken away by both NATO and Russia in exchange for protecting it's independence is now being invaded by it's supposed ally without any good reason or even a declaration of war. Obviously Ukraine with much more limited financial, technological and human resources needs as much help from outside world as possible if we want to see international laws mean anything. If we want to show the world how risky and costly it is to invade other countries to prevent future wars from happening as much as possible.

Why didn’t USA capitulate to the British?
Because one was a war of independence from a foreign force that was thousands of kilometers away. It was mostly about taxes.
The other is a territorial war between 2 nations and neither is right or wrong. Only NATO and the US are wrong in this war they caused.
Same applies to Israel and Palestine war, with neither being right and the only wrong party being the US, which funded both so they can have one more proxy war.
NATO and the US should stay out of both. Such territorial disputes don't warrant the us and NATO interventions. Especially with Ukraine, which is not even part of NATO. Their only goal is just to weaken Russia and gain administrative control over gas that passes through Ukraine to Europe. It's not help or save lives. Biden and Obama (and other democrat politicians) families have real personal monetary interest in Ukraine. THAT is the main goal. Money. It's not national affairs, it's personal. And they paid A LOT of people and corrupted many Ukrainian officials to get there, like to fire prosecutor and end an investigation into Gazprom.

I recall the first peace proposal in Instabul had listed not only China but also the US as security guarantors if they accept the deal. We would be at peace right now... Some may not like it, but we can both agree it's better than the tragedy that has happened and continues to Happen.
In any case, I'm almost positive President Trump would force President Zelensky to sign on a peace deal with Russia, and I think President Putin would be willing to also compromise if its Trump leading the talks.
But alas, this is wishful thinking, the European Union seems to prefer us stay in war with Russia

This war was a horrific mistake that was provoked by the US to try and stick a dagger in Russia. Geopolitical chess at its absolute worst. Look up where the money is going? It's staying in the US to create new weapons to replace the older ones about to expire that we're sending them, We'd otherwise have to pay to have them destroyed. Yes, it's still costing, but nowhere near as much as it seems, and it's stimulating our economy.
