Aww good choice on the Halloween cusion. It's very happy. I'm not going to be at home this halloween and our inflatable tree thing with the ghost and pumpkins, died last year. It's going to feel very odd. I'm fully booked with the pet sits over that period.
ah really enjoyed this, I know exactly what you mean with the gravy in the plastic jugs yuck. Love that 70s style cushion and I just got myself a pair of flares, love them hehe. I defo need them bulbs when we move out xx
Oh no none matching cushions would drive me mad it’s just as well we’re all different. Even the plates and bowls would have me in a tizzy I would have to match the plate with corresponding bowl. I must have OCD
My daughter and boyfriend prefer all matching, too :) thanks so much for watching.

Candlewick bedspread I think is what you are thinking of like the cushion. Remember them in the 70’s when I was a child.
Such variety, fun shopping. Glad you got a Pyrex measuring cup. My first one at age 18 when I moved out on my own. Plastic ones too dinky and weak for kitchen duty.
I use thick silicon reusable food bags. I also have a bag holder which holds the bag open when filling but I also use it to hold the bag open while it dries after washing
The orange cushion cover is the same as my duvet set. It is the original 1971 pattern reintroduced. I didn't know they had the cushions so I will have to get them for my 1970s bedroom. ❤Gill

As someone who has always had pets my sofas are always covered in throws
ikea has gone expencive the plates dishes they would of bin 8 for the four not 12 use a nail brush for the potato washer think the inners are to big u need square ones

Love large cushions on the sofa but those ones on the shelves sounded more like beanbags. I couldn’t cope with that sound every time someone moved 😂

Hi IMO. I’m a single mum too and my son is 17 now, like you spent years not really worrying about the house and we moved a lot in rental homes so never really ‘made it home’. Now my son is older and I’m more financially secure (ish!) I feel it’s time to make more of an effort and make things nicer.
