Loved seeing your actual experiences with filming on your last day in Cyprus. It was like watching outtakes, which I always find entertaining. Also glad you include your story about chasing the dog that had your mike while people laughed at your predicament. Given how professional you are in your videos, that footage and story added an even more human element to your interesting travel videos. Best, Sylvia 💛
I love your channel, I just stumbled upon it. I hope you keep doing what you're doing, it takes a long time to become a household name. I think you have the finest travel channel on TH-cam.
I really enjoyed the video, I was in Milan a few times myself and found it captivating each time, at a different season. So your video reminded me in a good way. Thank you1
Hi Jason, nice to see you back. You describe very clearly. We have been three years ago. Wonderful place to visit. Well done keep it up. Show your family once.. God bless you all. 👌👌👌👌☺️☺️
LOVE Milan. the city is actually much more than just fashion. It has history, culture, mix of beautiful vintage and moderns. My first European city that i visited. Wanna go back so bad.
Hands down the biggest croissant I’ve ever seen in my life. And Milan’s malls are certainly fancier than the local Westgate. And thanks to you and that dog you’ve created an anecdote that will bring joy to people for decades to come, so that’s somewhat of a comfort given the indignity that your microphone went through.
I kept looking for your video of Girney or Kyrinia as we in southern Cyprus know it by, I enjoyed it and was sorry about the weather, unbelievable, it's not very often we have storms and it had to be that day but at least I saw some of the castle and will make more effort to go check it out. Thank you .
Wow great coverage and video eork so professional its great to have seen Milan and De Vinci Last Super. Thanks I really enjoy your trips. Cheers and Peace
We must have just passed each other. I was in Milan on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Did most of what you did. I saw the Last Supper in 1996 on my first trip to Milan. Great video.
Wow, that dog swiping your microphone and the chase killed me 😳 that did sound like a comical scene in a movie. Glad you got it back and are okay. Great video, looking forward to the upcoming videos.
You're really good at this Jason! I like the way you pull out the highlights of each place. Been to Milan and followed the exact same itinerary. I am living in Limassol, sorry that you didn't make it here. Next time stay longer!
Love Milan. Was lucky enough to get to the derby at the San Siro many years ago, and it was incredible. Milan's culture is more hidden away than Rome, for example, but still very much worth exploring. Worth looking around I Navigli too - a nice canal area. The Last Supper is very impressive at first sight, but once you learn about how Leonardo used the golden ratio in it, then it becomes something quite breathtaking.
The next time you pass by Milan let Me know, i can do guide for you, to see all the hidden location that tourist don't know! Next time you must go up on the rooftop of the Duomo, it's amazing!
we loved Milan the Domo was amazing we went on the top of the roof. we had a tour of the Last Supper (English) and the detail of restoration was very interesting.Loved the video, thank you for sharing and bringing back memories.
I am very happy to see that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has remained immune to the ever-changing fashions that have seen its southern neighbour become a somewhat homogenous ‘tourist destination’ where the native cuisine has been replaced by generic fast food franchises; arts and craft markets replaced by malls. Where local café, restaurant and bar nightlife has been swamped by ‘theme’ pubs and night clubs. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but some say it has lost the very ‘soul’ that first drew visitors to these delightful shores. TRNC offers its visitors the "real Cyprus Feeling" with its less costly lifestyle, traditional Turkish Culture and the crime free zone even after dark.
I was so impressed by the setting and the fresco of Last Supper. I had no idea it was so large. Also impressive was the equally large fresco on the opposite wall. The experience kind of took my breath away being in the presence of one of the most famous works of art. When I first stood in line (for 45 minutes) I found that I was just buying a ticket for a 4 PM entry. So to while away the time I went to the Sforza Palace and spent a couple of hours gawking at all within including the last and unfinished sculpture of Michelangelo. Capped that day off with a wonderful dinner of Milanese food. It was quite a day.
Enjoyed the video. I'm very curious about Northern Cyprus now, and have added it to my ever-growing list of places to visit! It wasn't really clear from the video, but do they drive on the left there, as they do in the south? A quick point about your Morocco trip. Unless you're planning to fly to Laayoune in Western Sahara and to head south from there, I'm afraid you won't be heading into The Sahara. Many tour companies lead unsuspecting tourists to believe that they're in The Sahara, when in fact they're in one of the Ergs, which I'm afraid are not part of The Sahara. This is particularly annoying to those in the know, especially if people are following a lifelong dream to visit The Sahara, only to find out after the event that they haven't actually been there at all. Not that the Ergs are not impressive though, particularly Erg Chebbi, which has some wonderful dunes. Some of the other Ergs are less impressive, unfortunately. Fingers crossed that your trip includes Erg Chebbi! 😊
Visited Kyrenia when the border first opened as my husband was a small child when Turkey invaded and had never seen the north of Cyprus. He was quite emotionally upset at seeing the desecration of our churches and cemeteries on our way up there and would not go in the castle because he felt insulted that he should be made to pay. Not a good experience for us on the whole.
Kyrenia is not the old name of Girne. Kyrenia IS the name of Kyrenia the Greek name of a Greek city occupied by the Turks after the 1974 invasion. The Turks then called it Girne
Turkish Cyprus?......it is occupied by the Turkish army, it is not a state and only Turkey recognizes it as an independent republic, territories occupied by the Turkish army are... Cyprus, one is "pure" "Cypriot Democracy, the other is illegal occupation
Went to Milan years ago but sadly it was probably the worst place I went. Wasn't much to see there. But anyone who goes to Milan should definitely take the train to Lake Como...the trains are much cheaper in Italy than they are in the UK. There's so many places you can take the train to but when we went, we only realised at the end of our holiday. Don't bother with the AC/Inter Milan museum as they don't even let you take photos. They don't tell you that until after you have brought tickets. Jason you should visit Porto in Portugal. That's a really nice place.
I’m not the biggest Milan fan. Apart from that very impressive church and the adjacent Galleria, it is quite an underwhelming city and In my opinion, the least attractive city in the country. Miles and miles of houses and flats and sprawling suburbs apart from that pristine pocket where you went. It’s all about shopping and your social status, the general vibe of the place is just off. Italians from Milan, don’t come for me… Just Not my cup of ‘espresso’ 😆
Travel with me to Morocco later this year ►

Hi Jason Billam, I hope you exploring Milan, Italy!
I was missing the videos, so it was a great update and as always great images, I am looking forward the next.
Thanks!

Never been on the Northern Side of Cyprus , I once had friends and relatives that lived there pre 1974.
Hello! I am glad to hear you are okay 👍. I love watching your videos 📹! Keep up the good work 👏.
Thank you :)
@@JasonBillamTravel I mean it! Just stay safe 🙏
Jason, you missed La Scala Opera house in Milan - the real home of Italian Opera and probably the world's second most noted opera house!

Hi Jason… I’m currently in cyprus and planning to cross Ledra so just wondering was it all fine getting back to the south?
Jason Billam, today it's my birthday and I turned 34!
If you do an Algeria trip Jason I will do it in a heart beat.
As always, love your vids. Have you put Iran, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, etc on your list? Many are opening up for tourists.

If you loved Cyprus you should definately visit Greece one day😊🇬🇷
I’ve been twice - but I’ve never vlogged it. Would be fun to go deep into Greece (mainland & island hopping) one day.

Yep, they still drive on the left in the north! Thanks for that context about Morocco. If it’s not technically the Sahara it’s certainly desert!
