I would test one of those uhm Anime girl VR games, for science, to see if they can simulate that stuff. I mean they will be used for that stuff in the future, I'm just saying that in the most respectful way possible. Would you say they could simulate that with this newest version or is there more development time needed until something like that would work. In ready player one there is also that one scene where the girl is really close to they guy and most of my VR curiosity stems from there, would it actually feel real enough.
It cost that much cause it’s new tech. The resources required for it cost an exponential amount. In the future down the line it will be cheap enough for a normal consumer
What is so insane to me, is that I just got a PSVR2 and it's my first experience with VR. I didn't realize VR was so old already and now it's evolving into almost basically our own reality. The merging of the Virtual World and our Own is becoming blurred so quickly. Maybe we are in the Matrix after all, or soon we will be.
I can find something similar to this online for a couple hundred dollars I understand they had to put a lot of work and money into it, but that’s way too much
Roommate and I are selling the quest 2s, so sad many games we were hoping for ended up transforming into different games completely and this ruined, I hope VR tech gets more practical and games aren't products or "experiences"
nice. the gloves are cool. vr tech is progressing. and they're really impressive. however i do have to worry about the simple fact you don't really...have buttons or joystick. buttons are important in vr games as you need to press atleast 1 button in nearly every game. usually for jumping. or in half life alyx's case for reloading certaint guns and dumping empty mags on the ground. and joysticks are obviously needed for movement however there's vr treadmills right? except the issue with those is that quite simply some games require you to use the right joystick to teleport. like, again, in half life alyx. if i'm wrong just comment below. but while i am impressed by the gloves i am worried that their usefulness will never quite escape the corporate world. purely due to the fact it doesn't have buttons.
Generally new tech is going to be expensive. 6 grand for lets face it a revolutionary piece of equipment sounds about right. Yes, its been done before but never really on a wide scale basis. I would imagine once the tech becomes more readily available, the price will drop significantly to around 500 US dollars. Now, I have been wrong before. Arcade cabinets for example are becoming more and more expensive. Arcade1up machines used to be affordable at roughly 200 USD. Now those same machines are being sold for nearly double the price. Doesn't help that parts have become more expensive.
I just want a fully immersive, possibly motion captured, body suit that mimics my precise movements and ticks so I can engage in full on melee combat like in Super Gene. I played that kung fu game but its still quirky and doesn't match my real-life dodges, slips, footwork, etc or precise hand movements... especially kicks. I need to be able to knee and kick my opponent. Even the boxing games I play don't mimick as I would like. Oh, and I wish devs would turn on collision in these games. It's annoying to throw a punch at an opponent only for them to step too close and cause your limbs to harmlessly pass through each other.
Are you okay? It literally reels your fingers back essentially making virtual objects physical. It’s like you didn’t watch the video and just saw the glove and said this. It’s not meant for commercial use obviously it’s gonna cost a lot cause it cost a lot to make
If I realize for a couple of VR gloves that can make you feel things and barely have that much stuff in them. I don’t know. I’m not an engineer and barely has a material. It looks like that’s kind of too much money for that product.
who needs these anyways, i mean the controllers are bigger and stronger and these gloves have the remotes attached and even smaller sensors that would would break vertical easy when you hit something, 6000 dollars is sh*t for somthing like that, it should be 600 dollars
What game would you play first with these haptic gloves?
bonelab

I would do half life Alyx
@@maxiboi8598 same
They’re useless ever heard of hand tracking😂
Haptic gloves are the future
Yes, but if I've seen a youtuber make them for a $100. There's a problem there.
Is this for the future?
Gloves are the future controllers with touch feeling and resistance.
I would buy them for 400-500, but 6k is insane
Soon they will be the past
Hopefully in the future gloves likes these will become much cheaper and games can get updates to evolve these gloves as well.
you can make ur own for about 60 bucks lol, there's a tutorial on youtube
Only if be becomes more popular will it
All u need is the haptic gloves a full body haptic suit and a vr treadmill the u have the future of vr
That would be really cool
So you would have to be rich 😂
But it would be sick
and a game that you really enjoy
Are you the real duo company
That's pretty impressive. I love hand tracking games... but gloves would be so much more immersive.
Vr chat bouta go crazy😂
thats the first thing I’m doing lol
6,000 dollars aren't worth that man, I'm really sorry but they aren't.
I know and there’s something for free in all meta quests is hand tracking but that’s free
It cost that much cause it’s new tech. The resources required for it cost an exponential amount. In the future down the line it will be cheap enough for a normal consumer
@@FancydoesstuffYea hand tracking can’t physically interact with your hands like these gloves can
@@MemeWorldCentralyou’re one of the most common sensed person on this comment section
Definitely not but it won’t be too long before it’s affordable

We’re going in to the ready player one stage🎉Exited to see it go!
I have haptic feedback wrist - hand modules for pcvr. I strap them on my hand and my wrist
This stuff is blowing my mind. My grandma almost had a heart attack.
I’m liking and subscribing because I feel bad because you just need $6000 of vehicle and you travel the world for all that you deserve it man
this takes me back to a talking tom vid
this is what I thought the N64 version of the power glove would be back in the day xD
LIGHTWEIGHT BABY... LIGHTWEIGHT!!! AHHH
THIS WILL BE FUTURE
This will be interesting for VR Chat
woooooooow!
Forget gloves, I'm waiting for haptic feet.
READY PLAYER ONE
Lol, ready player one reference on the video cover
I need these
this looks like what Sony will go for for PS6 or PSVR3
Is there any info about it ?
I really want one
Bro really brought me here because of the IOI gloves on the thumbnail
Do they work with the apple vision pro? I guess u dont need them whit this glass
Currently they don’t but who knows!
Why is a controller mount necessary? Surely they could've found a way to create their own controller within the glove.
Tip: u don’t need to buy it all u can do is smash/put your controler down then done
Is the giant controller really needed?
So much fun for $6000.
I can find something similar to this online for a couple hundred dollars I understand they had to put a lot of work and money into it, but that’s way too much
Are these available to buy im currently investing into bhaptic hardware like the bhaptic vest gloves and arm bands
Yes you can find a link in the description
0:37 is that jojo siwa
I see you have discovered the man bun.
Yes it is
Roommate and I are selling the quest 2s, so sad many games we were hoping for ended up transforming into different games completely and this ruined, I hope VR tech gets more practical and games aren't products or "experiences"
Openly games in the future can be like sword art online but you don't die 8n real life
Use the haptic suit with it
does it need a pc?
Why it exist if we have the hand tracking
IOI ??? The company from ready player one??!
My reading the title just made me think that people can do things in the wrong hand 😏
imagine this inside of rumble (earth bending game)
These are like hand tracking 2.0😮

Neuralink in combination with gloves would be a possible solution
Games visión pro 💀
I would love these gloves……if I had 6,000 dollars to spare
i love making myself jelouse by watching people enjoy vr 😔
Anyone else get the ready player one reference in the thumbnail
Whow como avansa la tecnologia (se va rapidamente a tocar un personaje femenino)
Anybody remember that movie called ready player One
Me
I wonder what the future will be i think there will be games in thin air
Beating my john in vr chat.
*Ahem*….. *smirks*
anyone notice the clip where he is putting the glove on was reversed?
You sound like your from the Netherlands
Er are so near to Ready Player One
it s the title screen i thought it said IOI
Spending more money on a lair of gloves than the actual headset????
game name?
thats nice but its 6 grand if you want a pair for yourself
Ready player one?
Its basically hand tracking but 700xbetter
Why do they have to be so expensive?
I feel like we are in the year 3030
Can ya play gtag with em? SailVr?
So that's the IOI home world...
have you even tried gorila tag on the haptic glove
When do we get haptic underwear? For obvious reasons. I don't know of another term to use other than haptic underwear
ok a price of 6000$ targeted at quest buyers is not exactly smart at all, clicking on this i thought they'd be cheaper
Nowhere did I say its targeted to Quest buyers (consumers)
@@nathie but it works only on the quest, yes?
@@nathiedoes it work on ps vr2
Man those would be cool to have.

They need to lower the gloves to a 2 digit number
its new tech, so it’s gonna be expensive for now..
@ need them to make at least 25 million lol
Production cost cant be more than 50 per piece
Well in that case we’re all fucked
Hand. Tracking.
if your willing to build them yourself lucid gloves are just 80 bucks and you can add buttons and joysticks
So. Were all thinking it right?
im nederlands
A agile playing Batman Arkham shadow
Was thinking of buying until i saw they were $6000
*handtracking left the chat*
I was thinking the same thing
im hearing dutch here
6k for some fabric gloves attached with some firmware and small motors is just insane

€5999 REALYY!???
POV people who are dirty minded: i want this 😏
6k for those bulky things? I don't think so

ahh gloves at 20x the price of the headset lol
if I get those ima be flipping off anyone I see
ditch controllers use gloves
6,000Dollars sounds like a crazy scam...
Hear me out
It would be better for gorilla tag
I knocked over my antique lamp trying to move in that game. Not going back.......maybe?
When you said whopping price, I thought you were gonna be sarcastic and say something really cheap
Just tell me how much money you got if you can buy VR stuff like that you have to have so much money man how much money you got
That's now way That commercial product too expensive too clunky
I can not buy that it is too expensive
