  • Back in November, a mere 10.5 weeks into my 18 weeks of solo travelling around South East Asia, I took a little bit of a detour and I WENT TO JAPAN. Cue you lucky lot getting footage of me absolutely vibing alone in a karaoke booth.
I had dreamed about visiting Japan one day, like I know a lot of us have! However, when I left the UK back in August to travel South East Asia I really didn't know whether it would work out for me this trip.
After changing my overall plans at the end of October, I ended up completely winging it and decided to book a flight from Vietnam to Osaka and spend just one week in Japan. I have never been happier of an off piste decision, I enjoyed it so much and I cannot wait to go back and explore more of that beautiful country and spend much longer there!
I started in Osaka, where I spent 4 days, however during this time I took the train to Minoo and Kyoto (again wish I had stayed longer as I did not get enough time to properly look around these places). I then flew to Tokyo where I spend another few nights before leaving Japan.
Join me as a I wander around in awe, but also document some random moments, as I was really taking and needing the space on my own and being so present with my time travelling. So here's just enough of a taster for you
I stayed in hostels in both Osaka (Picnic Hostel) and Tokyo (Sakura Hotel Jimbocho). I felt so incredibly safe walking around, with my music in, at night, completely indulging in life.
Also, dear Osaka people - you are so trendy I am so jealous and sad I couldn't bring any outfits home with me
    Until next time x

Of course. I still need to do my overall figures for everything. But for japan I paid £113 for 7 nights in a hostel, I paid £60 for my flight from Osaka to Tokyo and the train rides I took to and from the airport etc. were about £6 a way I think. The smaller train rides were only around £5 I think. I reckon I spent around £200 on food, places & smaller train rides for the week. Hope that helps x

@@AdventureswithAmberAdel yes, I thought you were a drug addict at first, but then you said you ate vegan and it made sense (not trying to be rude)

@@StraightUniversalism 😂 likening the way somebody looks to a drug addict I personally have always taken as a major pozzy! However, I'm truly OK and the way I look has very little to do with being vegan, and it's hugely irrelevant to the video in hand. I truly send you peace though, because I hope you don't judge yourself so harshly. Life is too wonderful to waste on insecurities that wont matter on your death bed🙏🏽❤️

@@AdventureswithAmberAdel no many look exactly like this, a very unnatural diet

@@StraightUniversalism Wow how rude do you want to be. Firstly, if you haven’t got something positive or nice to say, just don’t say anything. Especially on a stranger’s video. Secondly, do your research, a vegan diet is the most healthy diet and absolutely the most natural diet you can have. Don’t comment on people or their lifestyle if you have negative things to say.
