Yes, this is one reason that they were put on a non-varinished surface. If they were on the floor, the humidity would probably make it even more slippery. Next time, I'll put a little towel down for them.
Were These females?
Yes, these were both females. Our males usually have solid dark bills, that are almost black in color.
