The chapter begins with Shoji and Koda asking All Might and Aizawa to assign them to the Central Hospital team. They’re confused because the students are not supposed to know that, but Shoji says that the giant lady told them that a mutant group is preparing a raid. Shoji says that if he ignores that he won’t be able to call himself a hero. We then see a conversation between Aizawa and Mic, with Aizawa saying that leaking false information was not enough to fool the villains and asking Mic to also go to the Central Hospital. Cut back to the present and we see Mic watching Shoji and Koda fight, thinking to himself that they are already much stronger than the “Three Idiots” when they were students. We then see a short flashback of Koda, with his mom saying that his horns will also grow someday. The horns can make his feelings reach animals that are far away. She says that people were mean to her because of her appearance, but Koda’s father always defended her and praised her horns. She hopes that Kouda will become an adult who gets angry for the right reasons. My Hero Academia 372 continues as Shoji and Koda attack at the same time with Octo Expansion and Hitchcock Buzz, the first being a very strong punch on Spinner and the other a flurry of birds attacking the general. Mic also helps with his voice. Shouji asks Spinner what he wants to protect with his giant body and his scales. He then turns to the mutants on the ground and asks the same thing, what do they want to protect with these amazing powers they have. As he says this, he remembers Aoyama crying. He asks them to stop because this attack will cause all future mutants to be persecuted. He then remembers the little girl he saved, as she’s crying and saying that if she hadn’t drowned, he wouldn’t have been atacked by the villagers and his face wouldn’t become so scary. That’s when Spinner starts yelling, saying that hatred will never disappear. If the heroes win this fight, nothing will change. He remembers the days when he lived locked up in his house and asks his companions to make their voices heard and follow him. My Hero Academia 372 continues as Spinner then propels himself from a building toward the Central Hospital. Shoji is held up by Koda’s birds and realizes that Spinner has become even stronger, to the point where he can break through concrete. The mutants hesitate for a moment, but then shout in agreement. The policemen notice that the mutants are more motivated and seem to deem it necessary to use firearms. We hear shots being fired but soon the focus shifts to inside the hospital, with Spinner smashing through the walls of the entrance hall. He remembers AFO saying that Kurogiri must be in the research tower and says that when he finds him he has to play a voice recording of Shigaraki or AFO himself. He explains that Kurogiri is essential for them to win and that Spinner will become Tomura’s hero. We then see that all the doctors and nurses in the hospital joined hands to block a hall. One of the mutants is shocked by the scene and, remembering Shoji’s words and thinking of the doctors treating the wounded, drops his weapon to the floor. But Spinner keeps moving forward. He thinks to himself that he accepted he would always be a nobody, but if he fulfills this goal he will become “something”. He says that the proof is that so many people are following him, but when he turns around he sees no one. This whole sequence is illustrated with young Spinner running, to show that he’s lost in thoughts as he reminiscence his past and his whole life. That’s when Mic arrives in that hallway, saying that Shoji’s voice has reached the other mutants and that he won’t accomplish his goal. The chapter ends with the two arriving at the research tower, with Spinner shouting “KUROGIRI” and Mic shouting “SHIRAKUMO”. Unfortunately there will be a break next week, so bear with us.
Now, this is the best time for Present Mic to mention Midnight's death to Kurogiri in order to reach him if he himself failed to reach him. If he knows that the woman he loved is now dead, Shirakumo may emerged and may even actually take control.

This has a Professor X Magento type feel. On one hand, you shouldn't give in to your hurts. On the other hand, I can't blame the mutants for wanting revenge.
I habe two questions to this chapter. 1) How is Mic at the same time by Kurokiri, as Spinner? Spinner was much earlier there, while Mic was on the street. Had he someone, who transported him to the hospital? Or was SPinner running so much in the hospital and searched for Kiri, and needed so much time, that Mic was able to catch up? 2) Why is the chapter is named: 2naked", when invicible girl isnt there? And no one became naked.^^
I feel the Deku Shiggy fight was merely at "Act 1"... where things are going way too well for Deku and no doubt he'll be on the backfoot nexxt act. I kinda LIKE that it's getting a pause to see the other fights. And the fact Shoji and Koda are getting their moment suggests they plan to give everyone their big glow up: no doubt they rushed to this war arc to save the pay offs to show in the final battles
I think Shoji should have mentioned the principle of the school being a mutant himself. Something like, on our school everyone is treated equal. The leader of our school is similar to us.
I have a theory, there are several options, which can happen, but the bonds of friendship between Shirakumo and his friends are very strong, it was not in vain that previous chapters said that they did well to awaken that side before: A) kurogiri wakes up, there will be flashback but he wakes up Shirakumo's side, he joins the good guys. B) Kurogiri joins the villains' side. C) kurogiri remains neutral. D) Kurogiri wakes up for a few chapters, he stays on the side of the villains, allowing them to be transported, but later on, later on, Shirakumo is activated. But we know that the heroes will win. I hope they don't evangelize Spinner.
My answer is D) Kurogiri stays on villains side for awhile to free Shigaraki but Shigaraki wants to capture Deku along with him and takes him to unspecified island where Nana and AFO fought to steal OFA and then later on Shirakumo has awaken and return back to heroes side

I think we've been looking at kurogiri and shirakumo in a bit of a wrong way. They aren't exactly a split, it's more like kurogiri is a parasite attached to shirakumo's dead corpse. Yes, Kurogiri is technically why shirakumo is still in their but they aren't each other they're different people through and through.
It's still kinda of weird how they toss a mutant war out of nowhere during the final arc of this series since Izuku finally came back after he found out what happened to Kacchan enraged now but I'm glad they're giving minor characters like shoji their moments especially seeing him without his mask and knowing his backstory but it's still sad that shuichi is pretty forgettable compared to the league.
Shonen format always means some story ideas will turn out late in the game, and then the artist will have to play catchup. Certainly if someone were to do a reboot/adaptation, they might introduce these elements earlier in the story here and there, but such is the case with any weekly series

@@shido_rimru_ Hardly useless: it highlights Korugiri AND a key potential hand for the villains to play, PLUS gets into Spinner's role as a villain, who does certainly face prejudice for his appearance, but from a selfish standpoint aslo just wants to be "somebody" despite his mediocre Quirk. The fact it also addresses another aspect of this world where hero society has failed some people (heteromorphs in rural areas), AND give two minor students their time to shine I consider all worthwhile. The fact this is probably lowest on the priorities for all the battles in terms of fan excitement suggest they're going to start with the most minor and work their way up, which I think is a good choice.
This is why I hate hero's all they have are words, as a kid I thought that was cool and inspiring but as an adult we all know that action is far more impact ful than words. Heroes just enforce the status quo and when that status quo means you have to suffer Are they even really a Hero? They are certainly not your hero.
I haven’t had a favorite MHA character in a while lately but Spinner might be uprising 😭😭 I like his motives, backstory and morals lately even if he may or may not be in the wrong. I love most if not all the heroes but Spinners has grown a special place in my heart
I'm loving the stuff with Spinner and Shoji Horikoshi has been giving us recently. I always thought they were one of most underrated characters in the series. The same goes for Koda. I love how background characters were given their own moments during this arc. Personally, I think Kurogiri is going to listen to Spinner. Reason being, Horikoshi confirmed that Compress was going to return at some point in the future. And I can't see that happening without Kurogiri warping him onto the battlefield. I also feel like it would be very narratively fitting if both Kurogiri and Spinner helped save Tomura. Since they both were pretty close to him. And we never really got a conclusion to Tomura and Kurogiri's relationship, despite them essentially starting the series together. So I'd really like that.
If Mr Compress returns I wonder will he gets warped along with Kurogiri to save Shigaraki from escaping but he will say he’s not leaving without OFA this time so it’s possible that Mr Compress will use his quirk to capture Deku off guard after overpowered his Gearshift by passing out and then he will take Deku to steal OFA at the lone island where Nana vs AFO
Shoji was always the unsung hero. The foundation of a1. He did so much that is overlooked because hurdur not the main 3 lame kids. Shoji was so versatile in his role. A true top tier support for the team and one of few heroes I sincerely liked.
I don't blame the police officers for having to use desperate meassures. Honestly, the spider mutant said that Shoji was "domesticated by humans", he was wrong with that, Shoji IS a human, the mutant army, is acting as wild animals in comparison. I don't blame the police for having to open supressive fire.
Now I’m all for happy endings but I’m glad the creator wants to give a bit more struggle to the war because when Bakugo got his ass handed to him and kinda dying people spreaded rumors that it’s gonna have to be a breeze for the heros
This chapter was awesome for continuing the Kurogiri/Shirakumo storyline, but whatever the outcome of this chapter I wouldn't be surprised. If this is the end for Spinner, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the end for Present Mic too. He is my favorite character but I really think they may be setting up Mic's death here so that Aizawa can get through to Shirakumo again. Morbid thought but if the last few chapters have told me anything, nobody is safe. Spinner vs Mic would be a cool fight to see, but i think that Spinner or even worse Kurogiri would be the one to kill Mic in order for both to escape.
I think kurogiri is gonna get conflicted again (just like back then shirakumo fought back for control and warned present mike and Aizawa about the hospital)🤔🤷🏾

In my opinion, I think Kurogiri will aid AFO one last time, allowing most of the villains who have been seperated to go attack UA - one of the locations that civilians are hiding. Then, his allies will attack the building from both the inside and outside. It would be up to the civilians to protect themselves - possibly aided by Gentle Criminal/Gentle Hero and La Brava (this may also include a reappearance of Mr. Compress, who will face Gentle.) It would be an interesting battle, Gentle (a guy who can turn anything elastic, even the air, making the perfect shield) and Mr. Compress (who can attack Gentle with any weapon he wants, and even shrink him with a touch) I would like to see how this kind of fight would go.
Would be interesting if Spinner gets to Kurogiri and make the Villians win round 2. So far the Heroes wo.round 1 by splitting up the villians and they have them on the ropes and Shigaraki in particular won't last long if he doesn't counter erasure. AFO is on a timer because he used Eris Quirk and Dabi was already defeated and now they even lost the mutant army. Would be cool to see Kurogiri flip the situation on its head by bringing the villians together.
Kurogiri will definitely warp all villains together and Shigaraki will escape by capturing Deku after he passed out for overpowered his Gearshift and he along with the villains will take him to the unspecified island where AFO kills Nana Shimura to place Deku’s execution by stealing OFA and Class 1-A and Heroes will react horror about learning this announcement by AFO during the Final War
This arc is fine, but it is kind of frustrating having to sit through it while deku vs shiga and the whole glowing dabi chest things are left on the back burner.
reading Shoji say octo expansion still feels likea splatoon reference to me since that was the name of the dlc in splatoon 2 that gave you access to the octolings who we found out are all not evil
The speaker box guys should get his upgrade the body the body is made up 75 percent of water maybe instead of yelling he also has the ability to persuade people way more effective than anybody else in the world what is Voice by sympathizing with them in someway instead of just fighting
All this conflict started because a grudge between brothers that effected modern hero society after all for one is destroyed and one for all quirk is done no longer pass on hopes past mistakes all get fixed and time moves on to the future.
The talk no jitsu was well done in this case because it didn't instantly work they we're still shaken, but following Spinner, until they realized their actions and what the consequences could be. Also glad Shoji is getting some screen time because he got shafted in the 2nd movie imo lol.
The "he won't be your trump card" was about kurogiri not about shoji, because present mic believes that kurogiri won't listen to spinner and won't go back to the league

Yeah mha is about helping others except for those they deemed are a problem or quirks they deemed to violent and not needed for the society they live in. Just because heroes do something people would stupidly consider the greater good, doesn't mean it is without fault or problems. I mean they wouldnt be in that situation if there was no such thing as superheroes in the first place. I hope the heroes get absolutely wrecked for what they basically caused, hopefully the mutants get to revolt and have some kind of equality and the villians do too. And before anybody comes whining about the killing of innocent, you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet, and heroes kill just as much the same amount of people too but yall only wine about the villians
I'm probably in the minority here, but I am more excited about that mini arc with the mutant than with the Deku vs Shigaraki fight (probably because Koda and Shoji are my favorites students with Tokoyami and also because I always loved big reptilian creature like the dinosaure).

Hmm... does this means that Koda's head will stay "opened up" like this? It honestly looks like his head opened similarly like a rosebud in the structural opening, (doesn't look like a rose, I meant how it opened) and it seems to me that after the fight when he'll calm down, his head might "close up" like how it was before. Of course, it might stay open like this as his adult from, but now his head looks like it's just wide open. I might be wrong but it looks like his head might be a bit firmer when it's in 1 piece to say it that way. His emitter horns might be a bit more breakable than his normal head. I'm just speculating, but I'm really curious if his head will always spread out like this in the fights, or if his head will stay like this forever.

More than that, Principal Nezu also has a scar on his eye, so maybe he had also experienced discrimination.

@@shido_rimru_ Hardly useless: it highlights Korugiri AND a key potential hand for the villains to play, PLUS gets into Spinner's role as a villain, who does certainly face prejudice for his appearance, but from a selfish standpoint aslo just wants to be "somebody" despite his mediocre Quirk. The fact it also addresses another aspect of this world where hero society has failed some people (heteromorphs in rural areas), AND give two minor students their time to shine I consider all worthwhile. The fact this is probably lowest on the priorities for all the battles in terms of fan excitement suggest they're going to start with the most minor and work their way up, which I think is a good choice.
This is why I hate hero's all they have are words, as a kid I thought that was cool and inspiring but as an adult we all know that action is far more impact ful than words. Heroes just enforce the status quo and when that status quo means you have to suffer Are they even really a Hero? They are certainly not your hero.

I'm loving the stuff with Spinner and Shoji Horikoshi has been giving us recently. I always thought they were one of most underrated characters in the series. The same goes for Koda. I love how background characters were given their own moments during this arc.
Personally, I think Kurogiri is going to listen to Spinner. Reason being, Horikoshi confirmed that Compress was going to return at some point in the future. And I can't see that happening without Kurogiri warping him onto the battlefield. I also feel like it would be very narratively fitting if both Kurogiri and Spinner helped save Tomura. Since they both were pretty close to him. And we never really got a conclusion to Tomura and Kurogiri's relationship, despite them essentially starting the series together. So I'd really like that.
If Mr Compress returns I wonder will he gets warped along with Kurogiri to save Shigaraki from escaping but he will say he’s not leaving without OFA this time so it’s possible that Mr Compress will use his quirk to capture Deku off guard after overpowered his Gearshift by passing out and then he will take Deku to steal OFA at the lone island where Nana vs AFO
Shoji was always the unsung hero. The foundation of a1. He did so much that is overlooked because hurdur not the main 3 lame kids. Shoji was so versatile in his role. A true top tier support for the team and one of few heroes I sincerely liked.
Just having Kurogiri teloprt shigaraki away from the erasure quirk means game over . That’s how Spinner would tip the scales.

Now I’m all for happy endings but I’m glad the creator wants to give a bit more struggle to the war because when Bakugo got his ass handed to him and kinda dying people spreaded rumors that it’s gonna have to be a breeze for the heros

This chapter was awesome for continuing the Kurogiri/Shirakumo storyline, but whatever the outcome of this chapter I wouldn't be surprised. If this is the end for Spinner, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the end for Present Mic too. He is my favorite character but I really think they may be setting up Mic's death here so that Aizawa can get through to Shirakumo again. Morbid thought but if the last few chapters have told me anything, nobody is safe. Spinner vs Mic would be a cool fight to see, but i think that Spinner or even worse Kurogiri would be the one to kill Mic in order for both to escape.
It would be cool if Koda horns can reach mutant quirks as a quirk awakening, I don't think he'd command them but maybe part his emotions onto them

In my opinion, I think Kurogiri will aid AFO one last time, allowing most of the villains who have been seperated to go attack UA - one of the locations that civilians are hiding. Then, his allies will attack the building from both the inside and outside. It would be up to the civilians to protect themselves - possibly aided by Gentle Criminal/Gentle Hero and La Brava (this may also include a reappearance of Mr. Compress, who will face Gentle.) It would be an interesting battle, Gentle (a guy who can turn anything elastic, even the air, making the perfect shield) and Mr. Compress (who can attack Gentle with any weapon he wants, and even shrink him with a touch) I would like to see how this kind of fight would go.
Would be interesting if Spinner gets to Kurogiri and make the Villians win round 2. So far the Heroes wo.round 1 by splitting up the villians and they have them on the ropes and Shigaraki in particular won't last long if he doesn't counter erasure. AFO is on a timer because he used Eris Quirk and Dabi was already defeated and now they even lost the mutant army. Would be cool to see Kurogiri flip the situation on its head by bringing the villians together.
Kurogiri will definitely warp all villains together and Shigaraki will escape by capturing Deku after he passed out for overpowered his Gearshift and he along with the villains will take him to the unspecified island where AFO kills Nana Shimura to place Deku’s execution by stealing OFA and Class 1-A and Heroes will react horror about learning this announcement by AFO during the Final War

All this conflict started because a grudge between brothers that effected modern hero society after all for one is destroyed and one for all quirk is done no longer pass on hopes past mistakes all get fixed and time moves on to the future.
The talk no jitsu was well done in this case because it didn't instantly work they we're still shaken, but following Spinner, until they realized their actions and what the consequences could be.
Also glad Shoji is getting some screen time because he got shafted in the 2nd movie imo lol.

It honestly looks like his head opened similarly like a rosebud in the structural opening, (doesn't look like a rose, I meant how it opened) and it seems to me that after the fight when he'll calm down, his head might "close up" like how it was before.
Of course, it might stay open like this as his adult from, but now his head looks like it's just wide open.
I might be wrong but it looks like his head might be a bit firmer when it's in 1 piece to say it that way.
His emitter horns might be a bit more breakable than his normal head.
