Yes definitely, it's a nice halfway between a very expensive deac and being able to have a plink as they say. The only reason I don't shoot too much in my garden is if I'm out there so are the cats....but these co2 replicas have their place i reckon 🙂🙂

I fancied one of these myself but bought the Thompson instead which I then fitted with wooden furniture (pain in the arse). It's a great plinker and more accurate than the M1 Carbine. A nice addition to your collection!
@@steelhelmetstan7305 I paid £300 for my Thompson which I thought was reasonable for a quality replica airgun. If you get the use out of it, I'd say that it's worth the price tag. If however you are using it as a display item, then yes it is a little pricey. But with the alternatives being either a Denix, which is cheap but falls under the VCRA, or a deact that will cost you an arm,a leg and a kidney, the airgun replica is a nice middle of the road option. Just my take on it of course.
Really nice. I don't know if it's your thing but antique guns are great to collect too. I collect WW2 memorabilia and post war stuff same as yourself, I have a couple of deacs but the guns I collect mainly are things like flintlocks, percussion weapons, even a couple of pin fire guns and that sort of thing. Great thing is they don't need to be deactivated as they're classed as antiques. You would never try and fire these things though as they are so old, and anyway you would need a special license for the black powder. Worth checking out next time you visit a militaria fair as they look great, and would look amazing on the wall of the man cave, and some of the Indian 3 band and 2 band Enfield type guns are not all that expensive.

Local price is £295 new, so, I guess it'll stop on the wish list ! Really liked seeing round the item, though, very nice. Can't believe they have made the UK version semi auto, instead of full auto.........they really like keeping us in our place, eh? Why do we put up with it..............

Regarding the semi auto restriction ...yeh its one of those things I reckon, probably because the minority would spoil it for the majority as always . I just purchased one can't wait until it arrives at the gun store, the only downfall 🤔 is when it gets there I will half to wait 7 days for the background check and Update my HQL card since it's considered a handgun , than drive up to Pennsylvania to order & purchase the 25 round Magazine since my state has a 10 round Magazine' restriction had to do the same thing for my AR-15 & oh its a semi-auto MP40, can't wait to pick it up 👍🏻🇺🇸
@steelhelmetstan7305 oh and one other thing mine is a semi-auto for me to get a fully automatic I will half to through the ATF to purchase a government stamp a law that was passed in the United States back in 1934 for citizens to have fully automatic weapons to get a, semi-auto is just a one day process with a background check and depending what state you live in it's the same for handguns but unfortunately states that are mostly run by the Democratic party like mine that have stricter gun law's & hate our Second Amendment rights while they are much more lenient on criminals than law-abiding citizens.its usually a 7 day wait and if you have no felony record you have no worries 👍🏻

Yeh it's a nice solid bit of kit....fun to shoot , but I think these c02 air guns are on the pricey side for what they are🤔

I have the same mp40 ..but unfortunately mine the magazine part broke after screwing in the second set of CO2 cartridges…very fragile so be careful…
