I saw the panasonic AG 500R in the corner, super jealous 😭😭 Out of curiosity how much did you pay for it? Ive seen them on ebay but never for less than 500, ive been considering biting the bullet lol.
You’re gonna hate this but I paid $40 for it at an estate sale that I raced over to, to pick it up haha. I had known about the crazy eBay prices, but hang in there. They’ll pop up when you least expect it
@@televisionforever Ahhhh nice find!!! I have tried to check estate sales sites but god it is such a slog combing through listings 😭 I did get lucky recently on FBM, got a Panasonic CT66 color set from 1966!! It's super duper cool and there is very little info about it online, I plan to make some posts/maybe a video about it! It doesn't work completely, I would like to fix it but I am still a novice when it comes to fixing these older sets but we'll see!
Hi. How do you get modern media to play on this TV? I know nothing about restoring or using old TV's so I'm just curious since I didn't see any "inputs" to connect anything to it. Also, OTA broadcasts probably don't work with these anymore I assume? Thanks.
There are antenna connectors on the back where you can hookup a video signal. From the television, it goes to a 75-300ohm transformer > coax cable > RF modulator > video input (VCR, DVD Player, Cable Box) If you have a transmitter, you can broadcast a signal locally and pick it up with just an antenna connected to the television.
What's a fair price to pay for a Philco Predicta (one of the table-top models) in a condition similar to this, with a decent picture quality? I'd love to have one, but have no idea how much one actually costs
Nice collection of vintage electronics. Your cat agrees with the Predicta purchase. Neatly restored chassis.
What a beautiful Predicta!
It reminds me of those old, bubble-styled, see thru; Apple Macintosh CRT monitors that Apple put out in the late 90s.
Perhaps that’s where Apple got the inspiration.
Jack, your beard looks awesome and so do your great restorations! I know that they are not related and I hope that no one judges me in the comments.
bro got the IRL Radiation King 💀
Great TV set 😊😊
I’m assuming you’re at your new place?Just been binge watching and caught up.

For a restored Predicta Holiday, in this cosmetic condition, expect to pay around $1,200-$2,500
