Basically for you to sell the impact you need for both the hitter and victim to freeze frame for a few frames and have solid sound design and effects to sell it even more. He goes into greater detail so I recommend you watch it if you are interested

Netcode issues arn't a big problem for me since I don't plan on living for the Online PvP. Arena Fighters have always had some major issues with netcode for awhile now. Cool if they fix it in a patch for those that do care about the online scene, but I'm mostly here to play the story mode, custom battles, and all the other side stuff the game offers with a more fleshed out roster outside of online which I believe is the case for a lot of the old heads. Praying they bring in Dragonball cast to the mix whether it be in the base game or dlc. I got the Ultimate Edition so I'm ready regardless lol Dude comparing Side Battlers to Arena Fighters lost me. You can't compare the two at all. That's like me comparing a third-person shooter to an FPS, similar in a sense but completely different gaming mechs, feel, etc.

Pokken is also a last gen game with no sequel for the whole switch generation, instead they just make a switch version of the game. Let’s go was the only “mainline” game they produced that actually had something different about it unless you want to count their shitty overworld spawns but to bring up Pokémon in the same conversation as dragon ball saying they have more diversity in their releases. I actually forgot about bdsp. There’s another same game they couldn’t even bother to properly bring that game up to date like they usually do they just made a game that’s actively worse than the original.
