I have one that has thousands of rounds through it. It has never had a fail to fire or fail to feed and is as accurate as any custom 1911 I own. The only issue I have with it is Novak sights do not fit it. I sent mine to Novak and had the rear and front dove tails recut so that I could use Novak sights. The front dove tail is exactly the same as any RIA 1911 the rear? I never found a sight that would be even close. Good customer service and an excellent pistol.

Love that Beavertail fit and that commander hammer! I've never had one of their 1911s but I can say their parts are awesome. I called Fusion one evening to check on an order when Fusion was pretty new and someone answered "Fusion firearms this is Bob". Said he was working late after some conversation. Very personable and polite person Bob Serva is!

I have had a Fusion 1911 for about 10 years. Bought it when I was going to Afghanistan as a contractor. It is the finest shooting gun I have ever shot. It is essentially a custom gun for a 'off the shelf' price. I have sent it back twice over the years and Bob and his staff are OUTSTANDING! Nobody, and I mean NOBODY who has shot this gun has anything but rave reviews. The only problem I have with this gun is that all 4 of my kids want me to leave it to them. I have over 15 guns, and 4 .45's, but this is their favorite.

I have over 6300 rounds through mine. The original extractor didn't work very well and I replaced it with a WC 'Bullet proof' extractor and it's been going strong since. Bought mine in 2018 and it's the best I've shot for under $900 (today-March 2023).

Are any of the parts in these 1911's come from overseas? I know they say the frame, barrel, and slide are made from one piece of bar stock each but where does the machining take place? Thank you.

So these 1911s come with mim parts and a frame not made in America, I was led to belive that there were no mim parts and the weapon was american made ( phillipines) frame ?

kimber is absolutely the worst choice you could make for a 1911.

Just got one, Really happy with it. Compared it to Kimber 1911 45 (200$ more) at time of purchase and it literally felt, jacked, smoother. Third time to range with, very accurate, 3 of 4 in 8x11 paper at 50 yards. Very accurate at 25 yards.

~Yes, I am in the .45 ACP 1911 Market. My hunt will begin this weekend at my local Point Blank Range. There are two in the Indianapolis Area; I thought they were just a Range. I didn't know they sold firearms as well.
~I focus on being a Combat Accurate Shooter and you have proven to me that this 1911 (at the Range) will get JOB ONE done very nicely.

I have the "Reaction" in 10mm. Had some issues with "failure to feed, " and after doing some extensive research came to the conclusion that a "ramped" barrel was the best option for the finicky 10mm round in the 1911 platform. With that being said, however, a non-ramped barrel ("old school") feeding option can and does work with the 10mm, BUT usually requires extra "hand fitting/fine tuning." Yet, I still absolutely love my Fusion Reaction, and it is a lot of gun for the money, not to mention the great customer service Fusion offers.

How does this compare to your Dan Wesson? I was thinking about getting the Dan Wesson ECP but then I saw the Fusion Riptide. The Riptide peaked my interest so I wanted to know if the Fusion was on par with your DW? Thanks!

The man who owns fusion Mr. Serva was head of Dan Wesson up until CZ bought them out. He is building his guns the same way he did for Dan Wesson.
When S&W wanted get into the 1911 business, they went to Serva to guide the project. He's legit!

Great video, well done thanks 👍 Just gettin the 1911 bug.. lookin at SA but these Fusions look excellent. Fusion videos by the owner look good, very knowledgeable. Definitely lookin at entry level to learn abt the platform - range toy and accuracy are my POU ( not SD or carry )

Thanks for the video. I am also considering a Reaction with some upgrades. I understand that, at times, 1911's have ejection issues with 9mm. Have you experienced any such issues? What brand of ammo has given you the best success? Thanks.

    • @Guns_and_Outdoors_Channel
      @Guns_and_Outdoors_Channel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Mark. I’ve got two 1911’s in 9mm. This one and the Cabot. No issues with any ammo so far my friend. S&B, Blazer brass, MagTec, all grains working fine. Personally stay away from Winchester white box and shoot anything else that you can get your hands on for the price.

I would not order a single thing for them. I order a bunch of parts from them for a build I’m doing. They sent me just a few of the parts. The sent me a magazine catch spring and no
Magazine catch for example. I emailed them about it, they kept saying they would send the missing items from my orders out. Never sent. I’ve figured out that they don’t act have the missing items In stock! Yet they let me buy them. Over a month, no items sent after countless emails and complaints, asked for a refund, was told I would get a refund... guess what.. no refund either.
