Yeah absolutely imagine your fighting a boss you eat there legendary resistance and throw something up like hold monster. Even if you just hold it for 3 levels of exhaustion that’s Game!
Dude the arcane abeyance thing could technically make someone else concentrate on a spell. Imagine giving it to someone with max con and then casting another concentration spell.
Give it to your familiar and have it move out of combat. Such as fly on your wizard. So you can fly and then cast something like greater invisibility. Boom!!

I’ve never played a chronurgy wizard but I’ve heard it was super strong or over powered. I like the idea of time magic and playing Dr. Strange. I would like to play a clockwork sorcerer and flavor it as a time magic sorcerer.
thank you for breaking it down in reasonable time; and this was the best one by far on top of it. I just started a Loxodon Chronurgy wizard for new campaign, capped at lvl 10 so won't see that crazy stuff at lvl 14; but still excited.
Ok since it's been awhile since my last character concept I'm giving you a 2 4 1 special on character concepts inspired by the tortoise and the hair so here we go This first character's name is Turquoise slowstep a Tortle chronurgy wizard how is a very dedicated and patient student of the weave who worships Mystra and he uses time manipulation magic to help those within his company and teaches those around him that very same patients and sees everything as rivers of time that can be used for great things if used correctly and responsibly and approaches everyn situation with a slow and steady mindset. And now he's rival who is a Harengon clockwork soul sorcerer named Hairy quickfoot a very talented individual with very little patience for anything and believes that everything is best done as quickly as possible more worryied about the end result than the process needed he too is a follower of Mystra and uses time manipulation magic like Turquoise. Hairy is a fierce rival of the Tortle and approaches every situation with a gotta go fast mindset but despite this fierce rivalry Turquoise and Hairy are very close friends even though that the rivalry is mostly on Hairy's part Turquoise doesn't really take it seriously and sees the rivalry as an opportunity to teach Hairy a lesson on patience so far it's fairly unsuccessful but Turquoise isn't really the type to quit once he starts something
I wish there was like a speed subclass. Cus then it would really clock in…. Get it ? For the Harengon dear Hairy quickfoot. Very classical idea that you molded.
The level 14 ability would be absolutely OP if you combined it with the 9th level spell Shapechange and became a creature immune to exhaustion, like an elemental of some kind.
I would rule no, because it is trapped in magical energy. For them to break it after they fail the check seems illogical to me. But some DM’s might differ on that opinion but I doubt it’s many.
The level 14 ability is legendary resistance at the cost of 1 exhaustion level that’s super strong

Well it takes a reaction so you need to careful on when you use it

I never thought of that and yeah that’s genius. That’s wild

Man I love the sorcerer cus you have this great opportunity to turn it into anything with just a dash of reflavoring

Thank you for that!. I never hear of people playing a loxodon, what drew you to them?
I can definitely see this subclass being used to create a Champion of Kruphix, an actual Time God.
Absolutely. A time god could be the teacher who brought all this knowledge to the character.

Really good and detailed video on a time wizard. Definitely going to run this class in my next campaign.
It’s a fun class with a lot of flavor to it so I like it personally.

That could be very Powerful, just make sure if you do end up in a position to use it that you rock out with a conversation with your DM first
Planetar, immune to exhaustion. Pick up shapechange for a lvl 9 spell, and legendary resistances are burned through asap.
That’s a powerful combo. I’d definitely run that by your dm considering how game breaking that can be once you get to 5 th round of combat
You can also TP some thing into a Duergar Despot and then magic jar it.
can the creatur make an attack in momentary stasis?
I would rule no, because it is trapped in magical energy. For them to break it after they fail the check seems illogical to me. But some DM’s might differ on that opinion but I doubt it’s many.
Love the shirt bro
Thanks my son picked it out for fathers day
