I don't usually care about race swapping but the ones in Peter pan(also genders swapping) and snow white do rub me me the wrong way. It's probably their whole attitude around it, they are doing this like it's a favor for minorities but they are still expecting to be praised for it. Here's the thing, minorities deserve more than just the bare minimum effort from Disney, and they should do this without expecting praise but just because it's the right thing to do. Everytime there's poc or other minorities in their movies that's what they put front and center in their marketing, they don't care to talk about the talent of their actors, only that their actors are diverse. And then they use the diversity of the cast and crew as a shield against any type of criticism. They think if we hate the movie it must be because of the diversity of the cast, It's not like movies with white or male leads bomb all the time or anything.
Yeah, you talked about not watching TV in a prior vid but I've gotten to where I don't even usually watch movies anymore. Partly 'cause I just don't have access to a few of the streaming services but also 'cause most of my viewing time is spent trying to support TH-camrs. XD Another interesting theory though. Well played.
I don't people should base a movies worth on box office. Pretty much no one goes to a movie theater anymore. Last time I went to one was either Ted 1 or 2. Why go to a theater when you can wait for it to come on a streaming service. Most people are getting their content online not in theaters. Cause sure multiverse of madness didn't make too much but it was still an entertaining movie. And introduced a lot of potential in captain Carter, the X-Men, and the fantastic 4.
Also love and thunder wasn't a bad movie. People just expect too much. Also alot of people seemed to think it was too comical. But forget that they made his character like that in Ragnarok. So imo the movie order was fine. Having a decently entertaining m.o.m, then the disappointment of Wanda forever, then a decent love and thunder. A pretty bad ant man then a great guardians movie.
Hm, i hope Disney take note, but I won’t be holding my breath. Also, I do blame the Higher-ups rather than the ones who are actually making things happen.
Great video! they went from mostly good to some bads to mostly bad with some goods. I liked the spiderman 3 movie, but i wouldn't touch any other marvel movie they have done lately: now i hear that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was decent, i will give it a try
I call this the "Bethesda Paradox" where the company has lost benefit of the doubt and must demonstrate the product is actually good before I commit to it (See Bethesda after Fallout 76).
Other things I'm currently reacting to are almost everything put out by Overly sarcastic productions, Jonton, Upisnotjump, Kurzgesagt, Dead Sound, Bruva Alfabusa, and Lazerpig, and reacting to the series' Murder Drones, Lackadaisy (those are the one's I remember off the top of my head anyways). I'm also slowly working my way through the video essays made by supereyepatchwolf. As for limits? Really I just want to make sure that I can add enough to the video by reacting to it. Do you have some suggestions to add to my list?
@@Fort_Master hm, I see, good to know. Also, well, there’s Recreyo and Disney’s Greatest Blunder by Camille’s Harem, on top of my head, might be something for you, if you’re interested? I might think of others in due time as well.

Exsactly!
18:46 the "thrills" part is from Sia's album "This Is Acting" - one of the hits on that album was "Cheap Thrills". I thought it was clever. 😄
How can a company learn its lesson if its dead? Thats more of a lesson to other companies.
Corps aren't living so if they die it's not a corpse just a buy out
The picture they used for the 'thrills' part was the Sia Cheap Thrills Album Cover I think, or something along the lines of that :)

Here's to hoping they actually learn something!

Gotta make sure it's worth the money!!
I can assure you both that it is. Seen it 3 times at the theatres and cried each time. A 10/10 movie in my opinion
