- an extended version of Alder's theme from Pokemon Black/White for the nintendo DS. Alder is the champion of the Unova region and is one of the more memorable ones. This theme fits him very well.
Overall, one of the best themes in the series
I'm gonna put this on and jump off some cliffs... what could possibly go wrong?

Its very mellow and melodic which is what I love in any kind of music.
Every time Alder appears in my game, I just kinda sit there for an hour and listen to greatness. This is one of my favorite themes in all of Pokemon and Alder is my favorite Champion. Sure, Cynthia's pretty cool, but I got into Pokemon with BW, so I see Alder as THE champion instead of A Champion. Well, y'know, before I dethroned him. But yeah, Alder's pretty cool to me.
If only his battle theme were good as well. I mean, it's okay I guess. But it's comprised of all build-up and no release, if that makes sense. I wish that Gamefreak could bring Alder back as a cameo battle or in a remake of Gen 5 or something. I don't care, just as long as they fix that battle theme.

I agree, the only reason they changed the two was because of the copyright base. It gets aggravating how one person wanted the champion to be Alder in B2 and W2 and then when the beta version is released to the crew, they get mad about the champion being the same and they have to make a change because of those little girls crying over it.

I hoped we could have some kind of good and inspiring champion in X/Y, someone who could stand as high as Alder...

yeah, in BW2 i was expecting the champ of Unova to be the protagonist from the first game who returned from a long journey, following N back to Unova
Alder is far better than Iris. Iris wasn't even plot relevant.
Azure Saiyan though Alder’s figure was weakened when GF made him lose to N. That’s a pity because everything except that is 100% good.
At least with that move they pumped N and the final moment of the bad team
@@jesusshuttlesworth6834 actually it doesnt weaken his character at all. Alder as the champion wasnt said to be strong like Cynthia. But if you look into his character this is why I disagree. He was made champion not for his strength but his love and passion towards pokemon.
yeah, it's so different as compared to most of the pokemon soundtrack, more moody in my poinion.

i think so, but originally he had a more Christ like appearance according to an interview with developers but they decided not to in order for less controversy. and if he is based off a native american, i got to say this is one of the most dignified unstereotypical portrayal I've ever seen
