Howdy, TH-cam universe anybody watching these videos from Johhny and Trevor just so you know I work for the countries largest homebuilder. I’ll leave it at that, and in this past week I have had the pleasure of working with both these gentlemen and they are CLASS ACT individuals… that back in the day, old-school quality 👌🏾👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾
These are so cool! And yeah, "unique" is the right word - especially for San Antonio! I'm not sure how I feel about sharing a driveway like that.. it somehow seems way more personal than I expected lol! Seems like you'd want to be really good friends with all of your... pod-mates? 🤣
We moved to SA from Colorado. These types of homes came out about 10 yrs ago and they are everywhere! Hundreds of cars parking on the streets at night because you technically cannot park on your driveway as you may block others from exiting. Car theft is high when you’re parked on the street so that was a definite NO GO, for my husband and our 3 teen drivers and there would never be enough room to park all of our vehicles. Also with that split level here in SA, not sure how well that will go with the floods we get.
I like the floor plans, especially on the 2nd home, but I do not like the "pod" concept. I think if you get one bad neighbor with lots of cars, family or friends, it will make life miserable. Also, I had a Trevor sighting a couple of days ago jogging along Alamo Parkway.
I didn’t see anything that looked like a basement to me. Just because there’s 3 levels, doesn’t mean the bottom level is a basement. If there’s a door that goes out into your yard, then that’s not a basement. Maybe I’m wrong, but a basement is supposed to be below ground level, right? Something to help protect you from a tornado.
You know thinking about it I wonder why more homes in Texas don't have basements.... but then us Texans would rather be on our porch watching the show waiting for one to come. We did when I was a kid. Pretty green skies and light shows.
We live in a part of Texas with limestone so basements would require blasting as they do for in ground pools. There’s underground aquifer and many caves. One lot in the neighborhood was leveled for a foundation and a cave was exposed rendering the lot useless for a home site. We are in a hilly area and many homes are multilevel, many with three stories and some with the main level upstairs to take better advantage of views.
Great video and very unique houses, but when it's Trevor's turn to speak, does Jonathan always have to interrupt him? (i promise im not trying to be negative just a frustrating observation)
Neat. I think that these neighborhoods will get residents back to the normal way of neighborhood living before gigantic vehicles zoomed on asphalt roads in between you and your neighbors house. Front yards these days feel a lot like they are just the sides of highways.
Yeah, my family looked at these. They would work well for multiple generations who want to live separately yet together. The back yards of all 4 houses could be joined for one big shared outdoor area with a pool, garden, etc. neat concept.
Need small furniture to go up the 1st home. Townhomes suck. I ran away from them in Maryland. Second home design is flawed. Didn't like the third one at all.
Just came across this video… Horrible - floor plan! 1st in this time we’re living in ….. where storage place is a Must, there’s no adequate space, for extra kitchen stuff- like containers, and stuff? 2nd not enough lien closet space, - for extra comforters, towels, blankets? and 3rd the washing machine area…… again, not enough space( actually that should have its own room- like the whole down stairs area, with plenty of shelves, and clothes racks, or clothes rails?) Definitely, not very livable home. 🤷🏻♀️

Most of the homeowners park on the street. This was a horrible addition to our neighborhood.

My mother in law and I looked at this neighborhood. Neat concept for multigenerational living if you can afford to buy all four.
Ual que maquinifico amei que desanime amei seus vídeos 👏👍 amei as casas❤

Just found the channel. I would've loved to see behind the doors. Like bathroom, pantry, cabinets (top/bottom).
I do not know what basement you been in but I am from Chicago and there is a back door to leave out of from the basement
Houses are nice but the driveway locations and parking is a deal breaker for me.
I can't share a driveway.

In Chicago the basements have an extra door to go to the yard and the basement is below the main house
Whoa, I love this home. The exposed brick in the entry is beautiful and very unique.

Flash floods and basements do not mix.

What is the price range? Thank you
350s to the mid -high 400s
The master bedrooms are so small

I’m moving to there next year
Homeschool family, represent.
You know it!~Jonathan

Good for multi-generational families :0) Not a fan of the 3 story but the other two were okay.

Not the point of the video but they’re both so handsome.
Good suggestion for the builder of the 3 story house……..install an elevator!!! Seriously! Major selling point ❤

I remember a lot more townhomes when I lived on the east coast as well. I’m also not a fan…give me space. ~Jonathan
Your glitchy camera work, skipping frames, messes with my eyes. Had to turn off. Why the need for that?
Black Rifle…
Sorry , but too much community
