Morning. Its a common question. The camera is in a dive case so the audio quality is no good. Occasionally there is some of the original audio but its a long process to try and correct the muffled sound of the dive case. On some of the earlier videos I didn't use a dive case as the insta360 X2 is allegedly waterproof.... However, the salt still found its way into the microphones and made the audio unusable. Eventually the salt ruined the camera altogether. I hope this help explain. I understand not everyone wants to listen to a commentary. Thanks Darren
Hi thanks for the quick reply it's appreciated , I just find the sea sound and paddling nice to listen too Enjoy the coming week safe travelling, look forward to the next videos
You make great videos but what is it with the terrible music? Why does everyone add rubbish music to their video? Why not get a recording of sea birds or something in keeping with the scene. I can't watch it. What a pity.
Thanks for the comment. Its a common question which I covered in my recent video. Long story short though: The salt destroys the camera so its is in a dive case. The dive case muffles the audio so the quality is awful. Any sound track has to be license free as these videos generate £0 for me. Even a soundtrack as you mentioned, would be blocked as copyrighted unless I pay for a public license. If you can suggest a source of decent music that is legitimately license free, I will adopt it with pleasure. I'm not thrilled with the free choices either but while the revenue is £0, the music will also have to be £0. Have a look at this video to see and hear more on the topic.
