I always consider amemiya is that godlike that he immediately knew a bag couldn't maintain 4w combo since I found out he ocassionaly stream his 世界一の最大REN企画(plan to make the biggest combo, I believe)
It's good but definitely still sibject to flaws. It takes long to build, and the setup puts you in a high position. In the end, without the conversion to s4w, the setup only deals basically just about the same damage as a perfect clear. And unlike other setups, this setup doesn't transition well to other setups as well as other setups do. The best transition for dt cannon is s4w and only s4w.
I don't think s4w is the best transition. Yes, it does have the insane firepower that comes with it, but it's overall useless when going against perfect clears. Other transitions such as perfect clear, amemiya continuation, C-spin and a basic TSD setup are more consistent overall. Relying on luck isn't a very good strategy when playing Tetris.
@@anypost8706 good theory, but the O piece didn't appear until after he died. Technically it's possible that he's keeping track of the 7 bag randomizer and determined the next piece had to be an O, but in all seriousness that's ridiculous for a human.

Because of the way his 4wide started, he had to use the t piece he had to clear a line, which would have left his 4wide looking like this. □■■■ (■ being filled, □ being empty) so, he could've cleared 3 more lines using the two I pieces and the Z piece, which leaves the 4wide looking like this eventually. □■□□ ■■□□ And from here, it's only possible to clear a line with an o piece, which at that point, it's impossible to keep comboing because the next two pieces didn't include an O piece. (he could clear a line with the J piece but that requires him to get another J/L to continue comboing) I put in way too much more effort than I should've to explain that lol
Hahaha I think PC Finder looks for Perfect Clears within 3 bags (which isn't normally possible to look at). Those perfect clears were found within the possible amount of pieces to look ahead so that's my guess as to why Zetris chose to Perfect Clear.
If the stack happens to form an obvious Perfect Clear, Misamino can also go for it. Also, even if Misamino never goes for PCs on purpose, that last line clear in that PC also happens to be the correct move to maximize combos, which Misamino certainly goes for. And yes before you r/woooosh (or any alternative spelling of that) me, I know it's potentially a joke.

DT cannons are the best start in my opinion. Easy 4 wide, easy pressure on your opponent. Good job amemiya.
