- 13-14 May - BRM600 Coast to Coast 2023 (Melaka - Kuantan - Melaka) was one of my longest ride. Keeping this caption short, I'll just highlight them in point form. Hopefully you'll get the message :
1. Longest ride in my riding history.
2. Made new ride buddies.
3. Hot, very hot days.
4. Rode with soaked wet attire.
5. Got headache due to soaking wet attire when entering air conditioned gas station.
6. Bukit Dinding to Bukit Gambang was pitch black (Seriously).
7. Love the encouragement from team mates.
8. Love the coastal roads sceneries.
9. Enjoyed the adrenaline rush under the hot sun.
10. Regret for not able to complete the distance.
11. Grateful for sis-in-law and her sis-in-law for the rescue.
12. Got motion sickness sitting at the back of the Ford Ranger.
13. Very comfy stay before and after ride.
14. Missing the ride companies.
15. This is one of those times where we all felt like ditching our bike and ride not more but we can't. (too expensive to do so)
16. Saw the double rainbow.
17. Very cold in the rain.
18. Detoured about 8km off.
19. Joe and Vincent had stomach upset after the satays.
20. I had to stuff clean garbage plastic in my jersey in the rain to keep warm, instead of wearing it over me. New idea.
21. God's revelation at KM400 but doubted.
22. Safe and sound for all participants.
23. Made new friends (discovered that they are my neighbors).
24. New challenge in the planning among team mates.
25. No "Super Randonneur (SR)" title for 2023 Season.
Perhaps 2024 season
26. BRM1000 in August? Let's go!
