She is extremely talented but she sings like she is on autopilot on like every new song they've made on the last two albums except for the first single from the newest. It's sad and wierd, like they just don't give a crap and just are cash-grabbing now. Storytime to me started to go downhill, dark passion play and once were the best. before we also had such good with oceanborn and century child plus the ep (with over the hills and far away).
My wife and I were huge Nightwish fans, but this by far was our favorite song. She passed away from cancer 3 years ago now, and I look at the title of this song now and think how fitting it is because I had to say "bye bye beautiful" to her and still do
Everybody allways talks about the female singers in nightwish , but can we also please not forget the awsome male backup vocals ! :) The contrast between the two makes the whole song so much better.

Each singer had their own unique voice, Tarja graceful, Anette more mainstream, Floor aggressive, I think what I admire about Nightwish the most, was that Tuomas and the whole band, they didn't try to replicate the same style as the previous singer and tried a new approach. You have to give them credit for that while still making great music, despite it would piss off a number of fans. Tarja songs, Anette songs, Floor songs, I loved them all.
Tarja 100/10 Anette 10/10 Floor 1/10 There's a clear trend with my all time favorite band. The freefall has been absolutely tragic. Dark Passion Play was the last album from this band as far as I'm concerned. And it was quite magnificent. Everything after that... Diarrhea...

Many groups added crucial members who drove them to greatness. Off top of my head... Steve Perry of journey, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Ann and Nancy Wilson of heart. There are many more. It is a testament to how good group was to be able to add so talent. Same with nightwish. Marko brought them to a new level. I hope nightwish has many many years of success, but they were at their best with Marko.

You know what, I love Anette for taking this huge, self explanatory mission that she did. Because she did good, even though she wasn't ever any replacement of Tarja, but she wasn't bad either. In fact, she did exceptionally good for the few shows she did, if she could only read the rest of them in in 26 hours...
Anette's vocals are different from Tarja's indeed but Tuomas chose her because he wanted different music and Anette was great in DPP and imaginaerum and i am thankful for that,i love these albums. DPP is the best selling album still today. We compare apple, orange and banana, they are different but tasteful all of them.
If she had only stayed with them a while longer, imagine what their music would've been like? Even just with the little we get with her, she already is at least equal to Tarja, if not better. Meanwhile, we're stuck with _Floor._
The presence of Annete, at that time, gave Nightwish different sound. They are adaptive, and thats good, since every songs with Annete is totally rocks ! Going to miss Marco. Everyone keeps saying what will happen to nightwish once he leaves. He wasn't there at the beginning and people loved those albums so I guess it will work but will be weird at first. Hope he is in good health and wish him all the best ❤️
I think many try to compare Anette, Floor and Tarja, but by doing that they are doing a discredit to all of them. Tarja, Anette and Floor they are just not comparable, every single one of them is different and that makes them all awesome in their own way.

Anette's era was short but it is memorable,her vocals always will be in DPP and Imaginaerum and this will remind us how beautiful voice she has and how she has helped NW to grow more in that era. NW is what it's today because of Sami, Tarja, Anette,Jukka and Marco, great singers, great musicians all of them so must respect their past members. I still follow Tarja and Anette, they doing fantastic careers,i hope the same to Marco which i will support him too. Nightwish is an amazing band, still has fantastic musicians and singers and a great composer plus songwriter, Tuomas Holopainen is the master mind of NW and only if he wants to stop, NW will have an end.
I know this song is an insult to Tarja from the band, but trying to compare the three singers is really futile... Tarja's voice is more operatic, and she has a vocal range of three and a half octaves. Annette's is more pop and rockish in sound, but Floor has and can do the same as both of them... They all have their own unique style though, and no singer is better than the other.
This is the only nightwish song I like. I have Annettes cds that she did after she was told to leave this bad. As for Tarja. I don't like opera. Floor. I don't like her vocals either. Just a person choice. I like his vocals better than all 3

Many groups added crucial members who drove them to greatness. Off top of my head... Steve Perry of journey, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Ann and Nancy Wilson of heart. There are many more. It is a testament to how good group was to be able to add so talent. Same with nightwish. Marko brought them to a new level. I hope nightwish has many many years of success, but they were at their best with Marko.

You know what, I love Anette for taking this huge, self explanatory mission that she did. Because she did good, even though she wasn't ever any replacement of Tarja, but she wasn't bad either. In fact, she did exceptionally good for the few shows she did, if she could only read the rest of them in in 26 hours...
Anette is every bit as good as Tarja or Floor, but in a completely different way. All of them did something unique and beautiful.
Anette's vocals are different from Tarja's indeed but Tuomas chose her because he wanted different music and Anette was great in DPP and imaginaerum and i am thankful for that,i love these albums.
DPP is the best selling album still today.

I found Nightwish a couple of years ago and I’m still making my way through their albums. they’re amazing. I love how each vocalist has made Nightwish sound a little different. So awesome. We all have our favorites including me. There’s just something about Floor for me. But I honestly do love all 3! And I’m loving this song. Anette sounds great! I think many try to compare Anette, Floor and Tarja, but by doing that they are doing a discredit to all of them. Tarja, Anette and Floor they are just not comparable, every single one of them is different and that makes them all awesome in their own way.

Anette's era was short but it is memorable,her vocals always will be in DPP and Imaginaerum and this will remind us how beautiful voice she has and how she has helped NW to grow more in that era.
NW is what it's today because of Sami, Tarja, Anette,Jukka and Marco, great singers, great musicians all of them so must respect their past members.
I still follow Tarja and Anette, they doing fantastic careers,i hope the same to Marco which i will support him too.
Nightwish is an amazing band, still has fantastic musicians and singers and a great composer plus songwriter, Tuomas Holopainen is the master mind of NW and only if he wants to stop, NW will have an end.

I know this song is an insult to Tarja from the band, but trying to compare the three singers is really futile... Tarja's voice is more operatic, and she has a vocal range of three and a half octaves. Annette's is more pop and rockish in sound, but Floor has and can do the same as both of them... They all have their own unique style though, and no singer is better than the other.
This is the only nightwish song I like. I have Annettes cds that she did after she was told to leave this bad. As for Tarja. I don't like opera. Floor. I don't like her vocals either. Just a person choice. I like his vocals better than all 3

To be honest Annette is trying to fit tarja's shoes because the rest of the band are operatic and Annette is like Bieber trying to be an OG or like the getto amigos who can't rap.

Anette is a type of agent and she was selected for her voice (because it matches mine the most) to be the 2nd NW singer and sing all these songs that contain secret references to me and to Chip, and to sing the songs Eva and Cadence Of Her Last Breath and Whoever Brings The Night and Sahara etc that were written about me, and they also wanted me to train my own voice by singing along with Anette's voice in the background, which is how one develops the correct belting technique that only Anette and a few other singers were taught, while most singers were taught incorrect techniques, and she has the best known voice in the music industry -- while I have the best voice in the world!
