There are so many copycats popping up with these kind of videos lately, but none really capture the atmosphere and tone of the city like you do. Each episode is its own unique story and I cannot get enough. Thank you.
I agree. It's definitely not the same, probably because I am from New York, but also because I only see them as "copycats". Karen does capture the essence of the city by also including beautiful scenery.
Karen definitely filled a space that was left empty at the death of Bill Cunningham, the photographer from NYT that documented street wear in the city for decades. Karen focuses more on the fashion crowd than Bill did, but I appreciate her work all the same. It's so important to document these things.
There are now a few street style TH-camrs doing videos like this, and Karen is by far the best one. She understands and cares about fashion, and asks the best questions. Truly a joy to watch. Thank you, Karen!
While we are all inspired by these looks, I bet Karen’s good vibes has also made (or even saved) these people their day. I hope that 10-20 years from now, New York will look into their archives and see that this series (hopefully still ongoing) is actually part of NY CULTURE. Karen may be brit, but she definitely uplifts NY pride.
Nice words and so true. I live in Amsterdam and i enjoy watching Karin's You Tube video's. The way she talks to everybody so nice and respectfull. She realy enjoy everybody's unique style. And also nice how she talks about NYC & the style of the city. 🙋🏿♀️🤗
Whenever I feel blah about getting dressed, or getting up, I just watch one of these videos, and get a jolt of inspiration. The two gorgeous people in the vintage, "old lady" clothes warmed my heart....they exuded such joy, such fun in getting dressed. Karen and these videos are a tonic for my soul.
One of the things I enjoy most about these videos is how much joy you spread to complete strangers. Everybody loves to be complimented and it is so much fun to see these people's reaction to being interviewed. Love it! This is actually how I discovered you and your channel so many years ago. Thanks for spreading joy!
Love, love, love these episodes! You have inspired me to explore fashion and style by showing that fashion has no restriction of age, gender, or cultural identity. I live in a community in Delaware that is quite conservative and laid back when it comes to fashion and style. At freshly turning 70, I am ready to take my style up another notch, so this video was at a perfect time! I am often receiving criticism from my “age related” friends that I need to step back from the fashion forward styles and embrace my age more and it’s restrictions…SERIOUSLY??!! I often dress in a classic look, but frequently love to throw on a pair of Docs, a quirky wide belt, or some very cool statement jewelry. I find it funny when we meet for our monthly lunch dates to get the “lecture”. I get excited planning my outfit as I know it’s going to just p*** a couple of the girls off! 🤗🤪🤣 Keep these videos coming!!!!
I always think that fashion is a feeling or a personal emotion. Like how we feel different everyday, we wake up dressing differently each time. Keep owning your style! 🙏🏾
@@KarenBritChick Thanks, Karen…you rock! I totally agree! As an artist, I absolutely love dynamic expression and certainly will continue to be a part of my authentic self. I just think fashion and style is a fun journey filled with greater self awareness! Oh, and I absolutely love that Michael has blossomed into such a style icon as well. He’s a sweetheart!!!
Age is a number - you're only as old as you feel. Some of Karen's previous episodes have included older ladies absolutely rocking their own style, and I bet you look amazing pairing more classic pieces with a good pair of Docs!
I totally agree! There is an episode featuring 2 older women with one wearing a coat with a graphic print on the back. There was a piece that I wanted from a sight that I was on the fence about until I watched that episode. I immediately ordered it!
Brava sister! Are you me? I'm 64, get that a lot including from my sister whose a couple of years younger but far more restrained/conservative. Go girl!
Karen, I love these episodes so much. I always feel like I've just been meditating when I've watched one. So uplifting, celebratory and joyful. Thank you for continuing to produce these beautiful shows.
I miss this series! I love the way all of them styled themselves but the first woman in the Esprit t-shirt was my favorite because I used to LOVE Esprit clothing back in the day! I didn’t know they were still around.
Your series on what everyone is wearing in New York is the most FANTASTIC series as you really put each person at ease and we see their style! These are New Yorkers, and its different than just watching tourists. I love it!
So glad to see you return to "what everyone is wearing" videos! These are my favorites as I prefer to see real people rather than the high-end luxury content. Please do more of these!
Welcome Back Karen. I was so excited when I saw there was a new episode and it was beautiful colors with unexpected fashion. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your eye for fashion.
with all the what everyone is wearing vlogs your vlog miss karen stands alone the commentary of your surroundings is insightful ,and in your interactions with people your humanity come shining through,LOVE what you do

Hi, Karen! I've randomly watched this video and liked it very much! I'll certainly subscribe to your channel. The woman dressed in orange had shown her Melissa shoes as a British brand, but actually, Melissa is a Brazilian brand. Cheers from São Paulo, Brazil.
You are so good at this Karen. I can't help but wonder if in 100 years from now these videos will some how find there way into our predecessors lives who wonder what life was like back in 2023. I know I love watching the videos on YT of life over 100 years ago.
Karen you are the blueprint the og of this concept and NO ONE ELSE is doing it like you! I loooove rediscovering the world through your eyes. You see things so beautifully and you also stop the besttttt looks! Ive been following since i was 17-18 and im 23 now youve always inspired me!!
First, of alllllll.....you deserve a BREAK! Never apologize, you hard-working Brit chick! Your love for what you do and your fellow humans is so inspiring. Thank you! xoxox
Giving compliments to strangers and showing Real interest in their choices...LOVE . Never tire of this Karen, you showcase all the good in the world. Everyone you spoke with today are genuine, authentic human beings. BRAVA.
Loved every bit of this, and the guy with the Ralph Lauren vintage bag now has me searching for something similar and that person in all red with that Longchamp netted bag made me realize how wonderful Longchamp netted bags are. Love how people are realizing that a little bit of aging to an accessory or a piece of clothing is often a good thing.
Hello. I found you today. Sitting on my couch, I could people watch and see NY via your exceptional eye. This 30 odd minute vid has changed the outlook and the emotions that I woke up with. You have given me a gift. I will love turning to your little corner of TH-cam. Regards from a new sub Tassie Joy
Just wanted to echo what a lot of others have been saying here that even though these types of videos have gotten very popular and many other people have started doing them, your videos are always the ones I come back to
New York is a place of fashion freedom. My daughters exploded with style when they moved there. We do miss Bill Cunningham with his street fashion shots but RIP this is very close and follows in his footsteps.
So wonderful! The entire mood makes me miss my hometown each and everytime. Karen's abilitity to find the creative beauty, in so many forms, just the glimpse of the guy in the turquoise metallic wide bottom pants, pure magic! Love this series please continue!
I love your artistic viewpoint. I could watch just your videos on architecture! but, how beautiful was this window you gave us to see the wonder of life and the people who live it. Love you both! Jayne.. Madison WI. ❤❤❤

No one can replace Karen's ethos.

Starlinc is great people you relate to 🙏🇬🇧
They also only stop young people with basic trendy fits. She stops way more interesting people with more dynamic style .
