Karen, I stop whatever I am doing to watch this series. Your eyes see what most overlook. I have lived in Harlem, Miami and now Los Angeles and people just don't dress like they do in NY. Thank you so much for bringing CLOTHES ART to the masses.
You are some many things for so many people! You are truly a cinematographer at heart! The colors you identify especially this episode with the blues. Omg! U are my Friday, end of psycho work week peace and joy! I have watched your TH-cam channel forever and it’s just …unbelievably so good!! You said you get annoyed by TH-cam sometimes but please don’t stop! There are others that try and copy your content but there is only one you! Amazing and thank you!❤
Hoorah for the men enjoying fashion! This series always gives me chills. So soothing and yet energizing. Your commentary, the little interlude bits, the music… glorious!
I come for the fashion but left with a sense of calm, soothing inner peace after watching your video. This is art, only art can stir emotion like this ; thanks for the wonderful work u have done, really beautiful
Karen you do such a great job. You are so modest and polite and friendly, giving people all the space they need. Asking the right question at the right moment. And then the beautiful colorful fitting shots of NYC!!! Chapeau!!
I really liked that the guy who came first was wearing heels despite being tall. I'm a 6 feet tall woman and just recently got 90s style platform shoes that I always wanted and I feel like I stand out a lot. I do feel insecure wearing them but the desire to wear what I find pretty wins over sometimes.
Great video , as always. In regards to the sticker shock $ 1000 shorts. As he explained they are all OOAK and hand sewn. I just went to thredup online store and at that same price point found pages of Bottega, Stella Mcartney, Dolce, Miu Miu etc , second hand and in worn condition and mass produced. If you have $1000 to spend on shorts, then spend it. Enjoy life. If you don't have or want to spend, then don't. $ 1000 or $10. Do you. Be responsible to yourself. But let's not put this mans creative work down just because he is pricing himself in the big leagues. I hope he is successful!
It's so uncanny how your inner antenna subconsciously finds people who are independent designers. It fascinates me. You find your kinfolk or pick them out so unconsciously. Love, love this series so much. Thank you. Your footage is always incredible.
I know you were the first (or one of them) with street style of New Yorkers. Although theres many street style vlogs, your vlogs are very different, theres something more in it. Thank you and keep going!
I’ve loved this series for years but this one was special because you had South African amapiano track from 21:02 - 21:33 and again at 22:48🤩🇿🇦Everyone looks so chic
So thrilled to see NYC fashion icon Lynn Yaeger again in your video. Followed her career throughout her days at The Village Voice & Vogue. Loving all the male attention. Loved the diversity, stunning & unique creative differences of style & charming personalities. Definitely one of my top favorite videos of the series!
the first guy is fantastic... i could have listened to him talk about fashion forever. he has so much passion for it and has such a pleasant disposition
'Smile it's not over' ❤Gorgeous Joe in his thrifted fit and Joshuaj with his 'use what we have in existence' mindset, YES! ♻Loved this video so much Karen, thank you for showing us New York through your beautiful lens x
We had a heatwave here in London too. 40°C/105°F on Monday and Tuesday. It was unbearable. The black girl with the navy and white polka dot dress was stunning.
@@skndralexander3255 Especially the high humiditiy is very difficult...A friend of mine lived in Malaysia for quite a while...she nearly couldn't bare it...So...stay healthy...✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these videos and I look for them every month....please never stop doing them. I love the people...they respond to your beautiful energy in such an open and sweet way. I love the music! I love how you show the city and its colors and graffiti and tie it all back to the people and what they wear. Thank you!
This series is always a blessing. I swear, I may have a bad and challenging day but if i see a new episode of WEISWINY, my hectic life takes a pause and dreams a bit through these videos.
This was one of my favorite episodes. Everyone was so engaging and I like how the first person went so indepth with how they designed their clothes, even down to the height of the heels.
As always, you've outdone yourself and this episode is so special to me as it includes two of the loveliest men I know...Eddie & Jeff. I just knew one day they would show up! What a joyful sight to see. Thank you from a huge fan from Episode one!

Todd's suit was so perfect for him with that wonderful shirt underneath and I loved the loose flowy look and the pastels and it was so cute how he had his hair slicked down and the shoes and purse worked into it nicely.
Great Ep Karen, I almost choked when he said 1K for the shorts!! but not mad at him!!!! - They were beautiful and looked well made!!! if we can pay 1K or more for designers fits we can pay him too!! Good Job!!

I love the people who stop and talk with you about what they are wearing. I liked the guy in the yellow, green and multi printed pant suit. He was so creative. ❤
A great video. Everyone was so good! My favorite was the first person. I could visualize him sewing and planning with his fiancé. I love your conversation with every one. You know exactly what to ask. Brings out their pride ❤️
I clicked on so fast. Amazed as usual with this series and your ability to talk with anybody that’s happy to share their fashion pleasures. You’re just great from an OG of yours.

Beautiful episode Karen!! Always inspiring. It shows a lot of individuality and how beautiful it is dress for yourself. Really why blend in when you can stand out.

Yes, yes the mirroring effect on the ground is beautiful. The guy #7 in his green multi colored two piece looks nice on him. Lady #8 has a big personality. Gentleman #10 dressed very nice.
