Mark, I ALWAYS enjoy …and ALWAYS learn new stuff from your videos … I am a young/ always building/ always fixing somethin’ / 73 yr old ..thumb area of Michigan …best part of all is you work on my most favoritist vehicle I’ve owned of all time .. the 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan… yours and mine = the 4 Liter engine … excellent engine … if I’m bored on TV at night, I’ll go to TH-cam I’ll tune in your videos …pretty cool… Have still too many vintage cars in my barn …1928 on up but the Caravan rules …so versatile…just broke in 168K miles … with CD player …. I was aware of the first Chrysler minivan by 1978 on the drawing board …my brother was an engineer Chrysler. We got the 1984 Plymouth Voyager that Mink Brown semi metallic brown color with the wood grain that everyone wanted… one of the first 5,000 built.. the kids learned how to drive on it when we finally decided to let it go about 14 years later I repainted much of the body and had everything working. No rust… Put it up for sale suburb north of Detroit had no reasonable offers… sad..that same model in color is in the Henry/Greenfield Village Museum in Dearborn, Michigan as an example of the first USA minivan.. ended up donating ours to a charity …with all the original sales brochures and pre production data sheets I hope somebody who appreciated that fit the minivan and saved it. Wish I still had it. Anyway, great job on your videos. Photography is excellent. Your pace of speaking is perfect fantastic.
Thanks for the pep talk! We are now driving a 2013 with the 3.6 Pentastar. (Wife has a 2011 Ford Flex with twin turbos. My lastest videos are in 4K, so you might get a even better experience watching these if your set up for 4K.
I am so glad we don't have to deal with rust here, well maybe just a little! I like that 10mm swivel wrench because it seems to have notches on the sides so you can grasp it better. LOL, you're not kidding, that was a LONG BOLT to just hold in the headlight! Mark, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL When you moved your mouth and put your hands up to it at 18:04 you reminded me of Billy Bob that night on the live stream, LOLOLOL!!! Great video Mark!
Uncle Mark, this really helped me out. I needed to do a little work on the front end of my Caravan (including headlight assembly replacement), and these were perfect instructions. I kept waiting for Murphy to jump out and mess things up, but it all went smoothly (and I'm a total auto repair noob). Thanks!
Yep. Murphy usually screws things up. Glad this video was of help. I have a repair playlist of this vehicle if you need more direction. Check it out when you get time: th-cam.com/play/PLgeVnQRQkbzBxJXNmFL9XwSTFcXcj0GQj.html
Thank you for video....everything went well except we did the driver side light. We had a wind deflector of some sort that I had to remove to get at the bottom two bolts for the headlight.
Great quality video! Thanks for such detailed instructions. I need to replace bumper and headlight on a 2017 grand caravan. I’m curious how you video hands free…? I’d like to do some videos of how to make things and would love to know how you do this!
Bought a cheap Tripod on Amazon. It worked well for a while then broke. Saw a semi professional on on our local buy and sell and bought that one. I also have a mini 6" high one for inside the vehicle. They work well! Hope your video making goes well.
Got mine in December. The right headlight is all fogged up with 😢water in it. The problem is the lens isn't sealed to the housing Your video was great. Now I know what to expect when I take it apart in much warmer weather. I flush it out with alcohol then reseal the lens both inside and out. The factories uses sonic welding to join the parts together. They don't always work. If you don't replace these in pairs the directional lense won't match color wise.
You like me, trying the no parts required. Not sure how well you will be able to seal this. Let us know how it goes after you have a few rains behind you. I am sure it is doable as long as the lens does not break in the process.
The procedure for my 2014 Grand Caravan is similar but a bit more complex. The bumper has to be completely dropped to remove the bracket below the headlight assembly to be able to remove the assembly.
Good to know! I will update the title and do a video on a newer van headlight next opportunity. You have peeked my interest in what that bracket looks like, Joe.

I will have to review my video and see that part! Lol. Glad it made you smile Timmy!
COOL VIDEO! I finally bought some headlights after all these years of having yellow, worn out lights. Cheers!
I hope the new ones work well!
Thanks helped another with the bumper popping off.
Your welcome, Jay. More videos on the way.

Was the driver side harder to do?
Thanks!
Thank you! You are too kind! Many more videos in the Grand Caravan playlist and more to come!
good video
Nice to know, Tosh. I am sure we will have many more videos on this van. My wife seems to want this thing to run forever!

What's the plastic piece called that you had to put the top headlight bulb into? I broke those on both sides and can't find the name to replace it
Meant assembly
Cold you send a photo of what you are talking about? My email is in the "about section" of the channel, Austin.
These light assembly are just like the ones I had on my Dakota .
Water gets into them and destroys the bulbs.
So far, 10 years owning this van and no issues with water intrusion into light assemblies.
Got mine in December.
The right headlight is all fogged up with 😢water in it.

Ridiculous how much is involved in replacing a headlight? SMH Should be able to remove it from the front of the car not a bunch of fender screws
It seems like most new vehicles no a days require the bumper cover to be removed to access lower headlight assembly mounting bolts! Yep, it’s nuts!
Thanks!
A big thanks! This will help me with the channel buying tools etc! All the best!
