Anyone can develop a small-scale proof of concept with a machine learning model that meets a specific local requirement. But, to make an impact and maintain it at scale, we needed to develop solutions which can be deployed globally at a rapid pace. Hello,such a question what professions will be in demand in the oil and gas industry today and in the future ? 1) Development and operation of oil and gas fields? 2) Automation of technological processes and production in the oil and gas industry ? 3) Operation and maintenance of facilities for transportation and storage of oil gas and refined products ? I want to enroll to study and need advice on who is better.
Depends on what you are talented at. If i am to give advice to someone starting their studies i would say learn programming and new energies. If you need a 30+ years career after graduation oil & gas might not be optimum for you

I work in Shell and the transformation on the Downstream side is quite spectacular. Our customer offerings including IOT monitoring of mobile equipment and remote lubricant reservoirs are leading to new insights for both customers and Shell. Very exciting time indeed.
