I was about 13 with my brother at Dwyer's auto parts in Wichita Falls, Texas in the late 70's. Spotted a B5 Blue Superbird! Asked my brother about it, and he said somebody probably blew the motor.
I Remember Walking Around This Old Junk Yard On Alligator Alley, It Was In The Woods Way Back In There, Old Man Had A Bunch Of Old Chevy Trucks, That Was Later Burned Because A Lightning Strike, I Was Building A 67 Shortbed C10 , My Dad Knew Where All These Old Yards Were , I Remember Telling Him " Oh Look At That One , Or I Just Seen 66 Nova ," Miss Those Days , I Doesn't Seem The Same Without My Dad, On His Final Days , I Stayed With Him And Talked To Him , Telling Him All Those Times We Went Everywhere Together And Looked Around Those Places, RIP Daddy.
That's pretty awesome. LMR is my go-to place anyway. I'm in Fort Worth, they are in Waco, and I literally get my stuff the next day. Keep on crankin', Caleb!
Promaxx 180cc heads work GREAT too straight outta the box have ran perfectly 2.02/1.60 valves with TFS stg 1 cam. Absolute savage on the street for cheap. No PTV clearance issues at all levels n stock bottoms end stock HO pistons
@@jackrabbit7389 that's been debunked, small heads I've been there, trust me u get sick of it in a few months, plus big heads with small shot nitrous is huge, if u buy cheapest, garentee they get ported, that with head money = great set to begin with,
I definitely recommend them SVE heads if you wanta make some good power cheap. If I didn't run across a deal on my new TF 205s they was going back on there.I saved them for a later project 😊
i miss those days looking for parts in the junk yard. Man I'm old!!!

Great find in the junkyard! SVE heads…I’m all in Bro!
Thanks for the rundown on the cylinder heads, Caleb! All good talking points. We appreciate it! -Landan
What's a good cam to run with your 170 heads?
@@korbynwalshdrums8766 I personally like the Trickflow stage 1 cam. -Landan
I had a nice ZX2. It was loaded LOL but still a stick. Sold it for more than I bought it for.

Same here.
Awesome got some good junk yard stuff, nice. Looks like some awesome looking heads, and not stupid jacked up
pricing.
Hell yeah! LMR!
Love junkyard treasures
I just ordered a set of 185’s for my 331 build. According to the website they flow more CFM than the AFR Enforcers. I can’t wait to get it together.
It’s been awhile since I’ve been to ole West TN Pick and Pull! Definitely need to make a trip out there soon!
You guys are lucky in the southern or western US.
Up in Canada you were lucky of your fox even made it through its first winter
Junkyard gold!!!!
Great stuff guys
I need that inner fender liner!!!

I have the same setup and agree it works great.
If u think those are good try a great set of afr220's
@@alltherpm 220s are a little big for a 302 a 302 cannot take full advantage of the 180s I have now

How much whp do you estimate? And and you still using MAF setup?

I bought some flotek 180cc heads.. In the process of building 347. Single turbo, ebay/Amazon build.
I wonder who.is casting the sve heads.
Probably flotek
Will those valves clear stock '92 pistons and a TrickFlow stage 1 cam ?
Just so y’all know since the valve are not a twisted wedge design you are gonna need fly cut pistons more than likely! Please do your research guys
Where is this junkyard? I’m in Gibson co. Is it close?
Should be West TN Pick and Pull in Trenton
I have a 302 with a cam I dont know what, which lifters would go with these heads? I dont know much about cars......yet
Any ford hydralic lifters, depending on if it's roller or not
Those heads are not on their website yet
won't be listed till 4/12/24
They are on there now.
2.02 valves 😕
