Thanks for the question. My plan is to remove all the non-operating equipment, plug the holes and paint as I did on the owner's head refit video. I will have a ram mount or something similar to hold the iPad. The upper helm needs a refresh badly.
Thank you for your comment. I agree completely with your comments. I recognize this could be an issue; however, I only use the upper helm when docking, which is not often. I am hoping this will work. If not I will look for an alternate way of displaying the information.
Very handy. I’m looking forward to further details. Thanks.
More to come! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Very interesting. I 'll wait a next episode...
Great! This project will be spread over the next several months, so keep watching.
Our N4646 didn't have the upper helm as well - haven't seen that.
Thanks for the feedback. I have looked at YachtWorld at 46's for twenty-plus years and have never seen another helm exactly like this.
Are you going to strip the upper helm completely?

I always wonder if the screens are bright enough in daylight. If I take my iPhone as reference, in direct sunshine its not ideal.

@@boatersdivingguide Did you just hear someone saying Apple Vision Pro? ;) Fingers crossed!
That would be amazing. True augmented reality heads-on display. I am all in!
