I was at this gig! Just had my drivers license for 2 days, bought the keychain and the rest is history :)
Miss Dusty, it's good to go back and see them all together. The Three of them were great Dusty, Frank and of course the Rev. Wille G.
In 1993 I was lying in the sun in Florida listening to WVIZ radio. They offered free tickerts to see ZZ Top at the Orlando Arena that night. First 12 people at the mall gets a pair of tickets.I was first.Saw them live , Brilliant night!!

This is great, when I first saw it I thought it was an old film of them in concert, but when I saw the date I was surprised it was so recent , they sound fresh and young , real energy, thank you.

The Top, I'm sure doesnt care if fans up load great concert footage freely promoting the bands image in a honest fan based light. It only helps continue the fan based driven fact that the ZZ are still on Top. Keep on Rockin...

Further evidence of the influence of rock n roll music on the rest of the world. I've heard that some of the old time blues guys were more succ in Europe than in the U.S. and that's prob true. Can anyone imagine another ZZ Top? Prob not anytime soon... just all around good guys, good perf, good guitar sound, etc etc etc.

That's the thing about ZZ Top. You could type in ZZ Top Moon and there they'd be, in space suits, playing Waitin' for the Bus All Day.....Is there anyplace they HAVEN'T played ?

Bad acoustics in this bootleg video. However, at least they are at least playing live. I remember one concert in 1985 or 86 in Hamburg, Alsterdorfer Sporthalle, when they performed playback with only the drummer performing live but without active mikes. That was the tour where they presented their ELIMINATOR car-themed album. I found out because I had the then-new new album already and their from stage sound was absolutely and fully identical, except when talking. So I was suspecting them faking it and went backstage to discover all cables leading through the back door to an outside parking lot where they ended in a truck-container and I could see actually see their tape machines rolling, from where the recorded music was supplied to the stage. Show Business !

Yes, he is on Gibson's staff. There is a Billy Gibbons model for about $12,000.
just google billy f gibbons guitars, there are whole articles on his instruments spanning like 40 odd years. the first guitar in this video was his "Rev Willy G" guitar.
It's the "Rev Willie G guitar" made by Boling Guitars. Billy actually uses a couple different Boling models, amongst his vast collection
I know he is on the Gibson staff, so I doubt he is playing anything else. When you are under contract, you don't have a choice.
While the guitar in question certainly looks like a Les Paul, it is not. Is a Bolin, made by John Bolin (I spelled it wrong above). Billy plays a couple different guitars John has made for him in addition to various Gretsch, Schecter, Fender, and Gibson guitars.

Great show except for the woman that keeps singing while recording. Wanna pull my beard out.
Saw them 83' in the SFX hall in Dublin, clearly the venue was waaay too small but when the band were booked to play originally the album Eliminator was not yet released but by the time the show came round every one of the MTV generation who never even heard of them before turned up, the hall could squeeze in maybe 1000 people, there were at least another 2000 outside looking for tickets, I was offered 10 times face value for mine. Glad I didn't even get tempted. Sorry to say I wouldn't go to see them today because they just can't play the same, age I guess but this is a pale imitation of these guys at their peak.

When you film an entire show, you're pissing off everyone who's behind you. Put that crap up. Snap a few photos, maybe capture a solo and put it in your pocket. You will enjoy the show more, I promise.
