Akuma's raging demon move is one of my favorite moves ever in all the capcom series. The screen goes blank and then fire punches appear, then when the screen comes back on Akuma's standing with is back to you while the opponent on the ground.

I always thought that Akuma's theme could be interpolated with "Carol of the Bells". You know? The "Merry-Merry, Merry-Merry Christmas" part would faithfully follow the trademark "Shun Goku Satsu" breakdown and then the theme plays out faithful to the original Carol in the 3-beat waltz measure. And to top it off, Akuma can be dressed in a Krampus costume.

The "ki" when translated as "energy" also holds strong symbolism showing his status as a polar opposite to Gouken. "Ken" is usually translated as "fist" so Gouken is the "Strong Fist" while Gouki is "Strong Energy." This reflects how Gouki gets his strength by being absorbed in his spiritual energy (Satsui no Hado), while Gouken gets his strength from blocking all his energy away and relying only on his personal strength (The Power of Nothingness).
Somehow I feel Akuma's theme, just from the main melody alone, is meant to be an elegy. You know, makes you feel sad? Not because Akuma is sad, but you'll be when you get owned by him.
Some people may say Akuma is boring, but I think he's a great character. I love villains who never hold back and will do anything to achieve their goal.

In my years of fighting Akuma everytime I got close to beating him I forgot 2 things
1)Close doesn't count
2)Akuma is never more dangerous than when you've almost had him

if they bring back Akuma in a Season 2 DLC for V, his Moveset is an Amalgam of Akuma & Oni, his V-skill is the Kyakkishu (Demon Flip), his V-trigger is transform him into Oni, & his Dash is the Ashura Senku(Akuma's Teleport Dash).
Akuma is the only street fighter to fully absorb the satsu hado .

Akuma is not evil. not at all. he actually got a strict code to live by.
He only utilizes the satsui. Is in control of it. not consumed by it (like EVIL Ryu)
His art is pure.
