Dr Bolin, isn't it beneficial also to use sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) when urine alkalinization is needed (such in case of uric acid crystals) ? Or is it just there is no strong evidence about its efficacy over potassium citrate when it comes to urine alkalinization?
