I was on the trip to move her there as a Chase vehicle it was a very long night, pulled out of the Hurst siding at 4:30 Saturday afternoon, we did not tie them down on the west leg of the Y at Suisun until 7 a.m. Sunday morning

Yeah, the drone laws are a little too strict, back before TH-cam killed my old channel for political reason during the 2016 election I was planning to buy a drone but I ended up finding out they are banned where I planned to fly it the most!
@@jreichel1 Yep, I was talking to a park ranger on the bike trail and he said they were worried about people flying their drones out of range and crashing into people, I told him the one I was going to get would just fly back and land on its own, then the ranger said people do not want to be filmed, wow, it is legal to film someone outside! I planned to get the DJI Mavic, it would go up to 4 miles away as I recall, I am sure that will increase...
@@KurtElliott People don't realize that from typical drone distances, people look like little specks. Maybe as technology gets better, you'd be able to zoom in more, though. I know some people don't want people to know what they're doing out in the woods (or anywhere) and I have to respect that.
That's a great variety of Southern Pacific equipment. Nice work.
Their is something about old SP equipment...They never die, they are always rebuilt, dismantled or rusting away.
Nice video Gary, having the SP caboose on the rear of the train was quite fitting.
Seeing the MP 15 in SP colors was wonderful, only wish it still had its SP light package on both ends
I bet it feels like yesterday you saw it in operation
Great video, looking forward to be able to see that equipment operate.
Love how 1501 is wearing an SP paint scheme.

How long 2472 stayed at niles canyon railway?
Not sure exactly how long, about 10 years or more. They went there after they got kicked out of Hunter's Point in SF due to redevelopment.
